  1. She groaned. "That isn't what happened." she mumbled. "I passed out. There is a difference."
  2. Ladashwy grimaced. Let's NOT talk about that... I don't want to explain my passing out. She sighed. "That's unimportant right now." she mumbled.
  3. Khriss? Who the rusts is that? Ladashwy sunk down slightly, once again embarrassed.
  4. She brightened slightly again, and wrote that down. I guess it wasn't so far fetched after all. "Well, the Feruchemical metals don't quite match up either. However, they seem to match up enough to create a pattern." She explained. She had actually had the matching metals theory for a while, and had even shown it to experienced scholars and they had ignored it, so she was used to having to explain her theories to others. "Realmatics? Is that what this is called? Huh."
  5. Ladashwy noticed Zola, and deflated slightly. She looked at the other people at the table sheepishly, and calmed down. Her theory was probably wrong, so she shouldn't be getting so excited over it. Embarrassed, she started eating her stew. I probably looked like an idiot, rambling about nonsense. My theory was a bit far-fetched. I should have just kept my mouth shut. No one wants to hear me ramble on about my stupid theories anyway.
  6. "Well, my theory... it depends on there being an even number." She referenced her notes, and pushed the notebook over to Kelsier. "If you look at my diagrams and notes, you can see that Allomancy and Feruchemy are fairly well balanced. I'm assuming that Hemalurgy is the same way, but I can't be sure." she then pointed to one point in particular. "Ruin and Preservation are complete opposites, right? Well, if there is an even number of shards, they should all balance each other out." She pointed to another part of her notebook. "If that is true, I think that there might be 16. It makes sense. Look at the Allomantic metals!" She was getting extremely excited. "There are internal metals and external metals, Pushing metals and pulling metals, as well as groups that they are all grouped in!" Her eyes were bright, and she seemed very happy. "I could be extremely wrong, but it would make so much sense!"
  7. "Is there an even number by any chance?" she was still theorizing, but she felt like she was onto something.
  8. She nodded. "Okay. Three." she looked at him. "I'm more confused about how you kill a piece of a god, or whatever shards are, exactly." she got into her notes, and started thinking out loud. "Hm. I wonder..." She started scribbling wildly. "Do you, by any chance, know how many of these shards there are?" She said, slightly distracted. Ruin and Preservation seem to balance each other so well... Is there an even number of shards? If so, I bet they balance out. For every push, there's a pull.
  9. "Uh..." She thought. "I'll be right back." she ran into her room, grabbed her notebooks, and put them next to her. She started reading things, and cross-referencing things. She started putting down information into her theories notebook, and started jotting down everything she knew about harmony. After a few minutes, she looked up. "Okay. Theory time." She rubbed her hands together. "So, you said that Harmony is two shards? I'm assuming you mean Ruin and Preservation." She put down her notebook, showing a messy, complicated looking diagram. It looked a bit confusing, but that was (mostly) because she was rushing. "So if that is what you mean, are shards basically Gods?" she continued before anyone had the chance to speak. "And you made it sound like there are more. Are there any on that weird world you were talking about?" How many of these shard things are there?
  10. She shrugged. "That's what I'm just going to assume until proven otherwise." She wrote that down, and then paused. "What the rust is a shard?"
  11. Ladashwy had by now pulled out a notebook, and started writing like a crazy person. "So, when you talk about connection, are you talking about what Duralumin Ferrings can do? I mean, they ARE called connectors."
  12. Seraphina had been watching and listening with interest. This was exciting! This was interesting! This was different! And then the Raveness arrested the other lady. She munched on her snacks. This was turning out to be very entertaining.
  13. She was about to ask that herself. This conversation was very interesting.
  14. Ladashwy, who was taller then a lot of men in Scadrial, raised her eyebrow at that. So, would I be average height... Or.... She sighed, got up, and went to get some food. She came back with a plate of stew.
  15. "It's fine. The man at the front desk is fixing the problem. I don't think he wanted to deal with a grumpy, sleep deprived customer."
  16. "Yes. I was asleep. It sucked."
  17. She looked across the table, too tired to be surprised. She took the medallion gratefully, and tapped it. "Thank you so much." She sighed. "The bed in my room collapsed while I was on it sleeping." She said bitterly.
  18. "Hi." Ladashwy said gloomily.
  19. She walked over to Eryn, feeling exhausted. She sat down at the table, and sighed. She did not notice Kelsier.
  20. "The p-powers don't s-seem to m-match u-up." "C-cool!"
  21. Ladashwy was having a good time sleeping, up until the time her bed collapsed. "Rusting iron on a hillside!" She cursed. "What the rust!" She got up the floor, and got into regular clothing. She then grumpily walked downstairs, and up to the front desk. "The rusting bed in my room collapsed. I had been sleeping in it for about 10 minutes. It needs to be fixed." The man at the front saw the dangerously murderous glint in her eyes that came from her exhaustion, and gulped. "I will get someone to fix the bed. What room are you in?" "Room 15." He nodded. "Alright. I'll get someone up there as soon as possible." Ladashwy walked over to the food gloomily, and noticed Eryn. She walked over to her, feeling extremely grumpy.
  22. She blushed. "Cracking c-codes is my t-thing." She paused. "That's... S-strange."
  23. She sighed. "I don't quite have control over my emotions right now. I need to sleep. Over there, Drae went into shock, and Marie is causing havock. And I am going to bed." She went into her room, shut the door, got into bed, and went to sleep.
  24. "Oh, y-y-yeah. T-that. The... H-healing t-thing, r-right?" She sighed again. "I d-don't k-know exactly w-where e-e-either o-one w-would be u-useful f-f-for m-me. I-I'm a s-scribe, n-not a f-fighter! I b-break c-codes, and s-s-send m-messages."
  25. "Uh... I r-remember I-illumination..." She sighed. "I d-don't r-remember t-the o-other thing."
