I have eaten so many sunflower seeds.
Why am I eating sunflower seeds?
Well... A long time ago, I got this bag of raw, unsalted sunflower seeds. I wanted to have a variety of treats to use for training Kaladin, but he wasn't a fan. So occasionally I'd go and eat some, or offer some to him, but mostly they remained untouched.
I just remembered I had them today, and so I looked at the expiration date. They expired last week, and since there are so many of them, I didn't want them to go to waste. So I am now eating expired, raw, unsalted sunflower seeds by the handfull.
I've maybe had a fourth of this bag, and I don't know if I can eat the rest... I might just end up taking them to school and eating them as a snack throughout the day... But they're also expired so I feel like I need to eat them as quickly as possible.
*sigh*
Oh well.

I've had a new Syrian hamster for almost a month now, and she finally likes me. She'll go onto my hand now (for food of course).

I finished the first draft of my short story for L. Ron Hubbard's Writers of the Future contest!

Thanks for the info! My family has a lovebird, Joey. Admittedly, I voted to keep him without knowing anything about birds about 6 years ago. Learning about how many drastic mistakes rabbit owners make plus your previous post has made me think that it is about time I learned how to properly take care of Joey.
Also, do you have any tips for helping dogs not eat birds? Roxy, my mom's poodle, has tried multiple times to eat Joey, so we always have to closely supervise Joey when we do let him out (which I will admit is not often). I could just lock the dogs up for a couple of hours though.
What ratio of pellets, seeds, and veggies is a good balanced diet? Honestly, I didn't even know birds could eat vegetables before your post.
I'll have to look into FlockTalk soon. Thanks again!

Yeah, people can have parrots.
The city council's primary concern is that unwanted domestic rabbits would be released into the wild/city (which is pretty much a death sentence unless a person finds and rescues them), and the rabbit population would get out of hand. They are also concerned about them eating people's gardens.
Just out of curiosity, do you know how long birds typically live for? What do people generally do that is bad for parrots?
Also, I think people should actually research about a pet before they decide to buy one. Few people actually know how to (and are willing to) properly care for a pet rabbit, too.

In my city rabbits aren't allowed as pets. I started emailing a few city councilmen about changing it, and I have gotten a couple of replies. At least one is on my side so far, but one is not for allowing rabbits as pets. I'm working on an email to him now. Hopefully I can change his mind.

This?
This is stupid.
The power is out.
Kind of. The Alexa works. The lamp does. The microwave and stove do not, and so I cannot warm up my pasta. (I could light something on fire and put the pasta in a pot and the pot in the fire, but I don't want to get in trouble.)
But my laptop also doesn't work. (It's old, so it only works when plugged in.) And I don't want to look at 19 notifications from my Kindle because autocorrect is very stupid on this thing, and it's hard to type. And I also can't use Discord from here.
Anyways.
I'm kind of hungry.
I might go watch Studio C or something, though. I do have tFotR downloaded on my Kindle, but the charge has already gone down 10%...
I think the power might turn on in an hour, but we'll see...
*sigh*
Anyways.
