  1. Ji pushed himself, sprinting faster and catching up; although, the exhaustion of what he's already done earlier and the bullet wounds he'd completely forgotten about were peeking through. He huffed, black creeping in at the edges of his vision. His lungs burned, but he continued to run. Twisting and turning to follow, his wounds throbbed painfully, blood streaming down and soaking through his pants. Ji pulled his hand back, a spirit copy of a long sword appearing after a moment of concentration. He thrust his hand forward. The apparition became more solid, and zipped towards Ne'ik, ignoring the other as it stabbed itself in Ne'ik's ankle.
  2. “What do you deserve and is also a type of bagel? ... Everything” (Some Laffy Taffy Joke).
  3. Ji cursed softly. “C‘mon,” he said to Saaphir, breaking into a sprint after Ne’ik.
  4. He grunted quietly in agreement, then peered over at Ne’ik. “Ne’ik,” he called out, motioning for Saaphir to lower his sword. “That you, buddy?”
  5. “You must be a blast at parties,” he muttered to himself. Ji turned the corner with Saaphir. He tilted his head. Was that Ne’ik… talking with someone?
  6. I really couldn’t sleep last night, so of course I was drawing something.
  7. Ji rolled his eyes, then gave a mock salute to Elya before following Saaphir. He pulled up his hood and stuffed his hands in his pockets. "So," he said, breaking the silence. "Who did you think Ne'ik was before you stopped attacking and let him slip through your fingers?"
  8. "Ji," he said to Saaphir, then looked back at Elya. "I will, then."
  9. "Hang on now." He quickly shot a glare at Verim before looking back at Elya, folding his arms. "I'm not one that's going to sit back with everyone again while you go do whatever," Ji snarled. "I don't know if you have noticed, but I'm better at combat than healing. I don't think what I can do can heal people."
  10. Mwhaha, we’re back to sketching on the bus; at least, for this sketchy :pp
  11. “Coward,” he muttered, rolling his eyes. Ji picked Verim off the ground and held him like a damsel in distress, then started off in the direction where Elya and Lyanör went.
  12. “Save it for your dreams,” Ji said, grabbing and wrapping Verim’s arm around his shoulder. “Can you walk?”
  13. Kaladin: So *gestures to a fabrial* Who broke it?

    *pause*

K: I’m not mad. I just wanna know.

    *pause again*

    Shallan: I did. I broke––

K: No. No, you didn’t. Wit?

Wit: Don’t look at me. Look at Adolin.

Adolin: What? I didn’t break it.

W: Huh, that’s weird. How’d you even know it was broken?

A: Because it’s sitting right in front of us, and it’s broken.

    W: Suspicious.

    A: No, it’s not.

Dalinar: If it matters – probably not – but Elhokar was the last one to use it.

Elhokar: Liar! I don’t even use that crap.

D: Oh, really? Then what were you doing by the fabrials earlier?

E: I use the spren to push back my cuticles. Everyone knows this, Dalinar.

S: Okay, okay. Let’s not fight. I broke it. Let me pay for it, Kaladin.

    K: No! Who broke it?

    *pause*

W, whispering: Kaladin. Jasnah’s been awful quiet.

    Jasnah: Really?! Oh, my storms.

*chaos ensues as the others fight*

K, talking to Syl: I broke it. It burned my hand, so I punched it. I predict ten minutes from now, they’ll be at each others’ throats with warpaint on their faces and a chull head on a stick *looks back at the chaos* Good. It was getting a little chummy around here.

Syl would not let that stand, but she'd probably laugh just a little bit.

  14. The small group of renegades began fleeing the scene. The Dosh followed behind, immediately talking with the one that had the blade. The young woman with the blade didn't show her face to her, but she had the tugging feeling that she knew that person from somewhere. The boy in the hoodie held the young woman that had the pistols, also talking with the one with the blade. That one turned back to look back at her. She was shrouded in shadows, so she highly doubted that he could actually see her, but she still narrowed her eyes at him, trying to recall anything about that specific Mystic, but he turned quickly and ran off before she could pinpoint the memory. Typical, the voice in her head said as she looked up at the carnage. Bodies were littered everywhere. The scarlet blood dripped off the highways, soaking into the older boards or into the canal below. It added to what was already there, becoming more vibrant as it was coming into her reality. Lifegivers came out, attending to the wounded that managed to survive the attack, yelling to some other Pacis to come and take them inside. Of course, there were those few Pacis that did survive, but weren't dealing well with the death around them; some looked horrified while others leaned over the railing, trying to keep their lunch in. A good portion shook themselves and went to helping, but there were those few. Must be the newbies, she thought, feeling a pang of empathy as she recalled those feelings of what her first battle was like. Fear. Raw fear. The fear that had eaten her inside and out, making her want to curl up and scream. There had been pain, yes, but it would heal; not the mental pain, though. It still haunted her to this day. She was rarely that scared, but the feelings of what the past gave her sometimes got to her. It reminded her of who she was, what she was lying about, what she did to deserve this, why she deserved to be alone, why everything was taken away from her, why she was–– Hey, the voice said softly, piercing through her loud thoughts. Deep breaths. She didn't realize how violently she was trembling. She let herself fall to her knees, holding on to the railing for support. With an inhale, then exhale, she felt tension in her shoulders begin to release. Though it was not all the way, it was better than letting herself be taken away by her loud thoughts. Focus on what you can smell. She closed her eyes, taking in another breath again. The sickly sweet stench of death was the first thing that came. She knew that some of the wounded Pacis wouldn't make it, just by smelling that; either that or the Pacis soldiers had recently killed. The next scent was the saltiness of the canals. It reminded her of home. Her old home overlooked the Hijed Forest most of the time, but you could easily catch a glimpse of the Northern Waters, and every so often, she would catch a whiff of the ocean and it always made her smile. It reminded her of–– A light buzz went off in her ear. With a sigh, she reached up and tapped her comm, opening up communications. "Yes?" "You done brooding?" She felt a frown tug down at her lips when she heard his voice. "I wasn't brooding," she protested. "Really?" he said, skeptical. "You always have some sort of frown on your face, you barely talk to anyone, and let's not even talk about how you're literally in the shadows right now and just being anti-social." "And I didn't ask for your opinion about what I do," she replied, rolling her eyes. "Do I ask you how you see? Why you always seem to know where you're going? Why you are such a pain in the a––" "Calm down, woman. Light." The sound incoherent muttering came from her comm, then soft curses. "You didn't have to go that far." "Sage," she said calmly, a sly smirk replacing the frown. "If you're going to poke fun at me, then I can poke fun at you." "Whatever you need to tell yourself when you wake up." "I don't sleep." Sage gave a large sigh. "We're not having his discussion again," he said, shifting in his seat. "Anyways, did you see him?" She shook her head, focusing on what she was here for. "Yeah. He wasn't alone, though." "So what everyone says." "Do we have any names to attach to the faces?" "Mm, you already know about Ji Naito. Been avoiding the law for a while. Frankly not surprised that he was there." Incoherent mutters. "The other man with Ji is Verim Grant; known thief and swindler. We still don't know the the sword girl's name, nor the one that used pistols. We're working on it, of course. Should have them within the hour." She rubbed her chin. "Criminals?" she said aloud. "Why are they targeting this outpost?" "Beats me. Probably just trying to get our attention." "Hm..." "Yeah." Sage shifted again. "The sword girl is a serious threat, though. You know what you're going to have to do." She nodded mutely. "Deadline?" she asked on instinct. "Uh, what?" A snap sounded from the comm. "Oh. You know you're not working for him anymore, right?" No response. "Well," he said in a comforting tone, "if you don't want to do––" "I'll do it," she said immediately. Sage paused. "Alright," he said apprehensively. "You know what to do." The comm buzzed off. She closed her eyes, banishing any thoughts of that time. She opened them, the sapphire piercing the sky above. She got up from her knees, and set out to quietly follow.
  15. As some of y’all may know, I drew and colored the Natives for Zvso, because I had nothing to do yesterday and I needed some time to unwind from school.

I was doing my thang, drawing while listening to YouTube, because I do that. I’m super focused on it, and I don’t really take any breaks from it and just draw. Anyways, I finished at about 1am last night and felt like the time went by so quickly and that the end product was okay, because I’d been looking at it for a long time. Then, because I was curious, I added up the time of all the videos I watched to see how long I was drawing.

    So..

    Spoiler

I thought: “Wow, that’s a lot of minutes. I wonder how much that would be in hours…”

    And..

    Spoiler

    F3B18053-8A53-45FD-96D6-34FC3DAA341E.thumb.jpeg.da982ecaaad30533e3f4e0330205df2e.jpeg

I was drawing for seven hours straight.

Now, I don’t think myself as someone who is always focused on something, because I get distracted easily; however, when I get super focused on something and say that I will get it done that same day, I will get it done that same day. Well, I finished at 1am and that’s technically the next day, but it was all in one sitting and my logic is that if I’m still awake at that time, then it’s still the same day.

So yeah. That’s why I’m not going to draw the Colonists anytime soon.

  16. Just.. have my rant here. And yeah, here’s another drawing.
  17. So, last night was the first dance I went to in almost two years. Despite the new variant and how crappy weird my state governor is, we still had it.

It was louder than I remember. Like it was loud enough where I could feel it in my ribcage, which has basically never happened at a dance. So, I was basically screaming to talk to people, and even then I had to get close for them to hear me and for me to hear them. Because I LoVE straining my vocal chords :DD

I was one of the oldest people there, so of course I’ve seen a lot of dances and basically heard their entire playlist of songs that they’ve basically never changed (e.g., they always, always play “Perfect” and “A Thousand Years” for slow songs). But you wanna know the songs that made me want to die? Now, if you like any of these songs, I’m fine with that; heck, I listen to k-pop, so I have no room to talk. Anyways, they played that “Now Watch Me Whip” song, and “Old Town Road.” Back to back. No other songs in between them. Just straight… those songs. I can’t tell you how much my cousins, friends, and I wanted to die at that moment.

On a more positive note: Uhh, they played a song by a k-pop artist lol. It was a BTS song in English, of course, ‘cause they wouldn’t play any other k-pop songs by any other artist, let alone in Korean. But they will play a bunch of Spanish songs, so whatever :pp They actually played that k-pop song because I requested it, since I was talking to my cousin and basically went: “You want me to request a BTS song lol.” And he, having nothing against or for BTS said: “Lol sure.”

So yeah, that happened. Right now, I’m just debating on whether or not I want to draw the Zvso races or to just… not with everything.

    Uhh, k,loveyabai.

Pfft, no waltzes? How could they?

Bruh, they barely play any other songs outside of their usual playlist of Cha Cha Slide, Vangabus, Shut Up and Dance, and other songs like that. I kinda know how to waltz, so I would be so happy if they literally played something else.

  18. One day, I’m going to murder the person who thought that forcing students to learn about math principles they’ll never use ever again was a good idea.
  19. Back in ye olden days, all I would draw were dragons, and they were easy as soon as I got the hang of them :pp But this is really good art, bro! Keep at it :))
  20. "And not good for her health." Ji rose an eyebrow at Verim. "You've done this before?"
  21. So, I've been doing math for the past few hours or so, and this specific question was giving me a hard time, but I wasn't going to give up that easily. There's an option on my math course if I were to get the question wrong, I could do a similar question that was not the same one.

Anyways, I put in a random number for this question that had me stuck, and it turned out to be the answer and I sat there like: •-•

That is amazing. Unlike me, you are very lucky. I one guessed 10 true or false questions all wrong. Every. Single. One. (It was Spanish class, the only class I don't try in since it's mandatory and I don't care about Spanish that much)

  22. Ji carefully set Lyanör down due to Elya's wishes, but wasn't focusing. He turned back where he saw the figure. Gone. Another growl of frustration escaped his lips, but didn't say anything.
