Nothing is better than gender euphoria Might actually go shave my legs again. Was amazing last time. Who cares that I have soccer tomorrow!

Way of Kings is peak Reading Kaladin's storyline is amazing. I just don't know how Sanderson made it so... Real.
-
She will see more in the future for sure. But I love the theme of redemption. Dalinar's character arc is a wonderful thing and he deserves respect OR ELSE
-
Kaladin's arc is a masterpiece. Dalinar's comes a close second. Shallan's doesn't even fall in the top 7. Venli's was given the development deserved in Wind and Truth. The early Venli chapters may be confusing but they're much better in RoW and WaT
-
Kaladin > Venli > Lift and Szeth (and Navani in RoW) > Dalinar > Shallan > Adolin I love Venli and Kaladin's characters and I think they're wonderful and the progression they get is beautiful. Whereas Shallan always felt like she just... Wasn't interesting to me. Didn't resonate with me the way it should've.
-
I don't lie often. And I don't like Shallan either. I used to skip over all the Shallan chapters. I was that kind of person. Yeah the transfem number has increased drastically I think from what it was before in this thread. And the PFP thing.

I have not directly lied here, I think. At most my lies here would probably tend to be moreso "half-truths" (Alcatraz reference). I don't lie for fun or to hurt others, I lie for protection. The fact of the matter is that it's hard to keep up a lie and that eventually something can become true too. Don't worry about it too much!

The great transfem takeover

I'll be honest I told so many lies that it's harder for me to tell the truth. Lying is a skill you need to master to keep people out of your way, and I'm glad I figured out how to do it early.
-
I'm not in danger. But they aren't either. But lies are the illusions we tell to keep those we love safe.

I built my entire childhood around you
-
I am probably close to my parents but I don't want them necessarily involved in my transition; it took a lot of time for me to gather the courage to talk to them Then again my entire childhood was built around lies I tell to my parents to keep them safe and to keep them from worrying about me. I'm very happy for you, Lily. I'm glad they support you, and you're very lucky to have a close relationship with your parents.
-
you told them!

If your parents have a lot of razors like mine do, you can probably 'borrow' one to use. They won't mind probably.
-
But you'd use two separate razors, right? Please tell me yes you will use a different razor
-
I did mine at 10:00 PM at night and then removed them after I woke up in the morning Thank you! Do it in the shower. And use a clean razor that you don't use for your face.

It was difficult cause I play soccer - the one sport where people look at your legs. As for the nails, you can use a nail polish remover (I use an acetone based one) to remove it very easily, so no one will know. It's a secret Here's like, a picture of the third time I did my nails. They actually look so good in this picture tbh I need to do them again. They took about 20 minutes to get off.

It's pretty easy (for me it was difficult) painting your nails isn't that hard to do either and can be fun if you enjoy artsies

Paint your nails. Shave your leg hair. Wear feminine clothing. Use a feminine name. Voice train. Whatever you do it doesn't matter I try to do a full page per day and it kicks off after a bit once you've done a bit already. Make it a habit Try new things!
-
Do you want me to give you some examples of things to try? Try something new! The way I do it is I ask myself the question: "Do I think that this is more representative of me?" - the answer isn't always yes, either! Sometimes I don't know. So I'll do it again. If you want to. I remember when I was writing Cryodesence vol 1 there was alternating male & female viewpoints- but I ended up scrapping the male viewpoint because the character felt farther away and less interesting. While I don't know if it was an indication of anything, it definitely reinforced what I already knew. You should try journaling That's okay! But you'll never ever know if you never ever try.

no like this exactly (although I kinda already knew) Try new things
