Rlyan Screamed as one of the crawlapede things bit him.

Rlyan stood, unable to move. What on Roshar were these creatures doing in an academy full of radiants? Whooshi appeared from seemingly nowhere. "we have to get out of here." Rlyan didn't respond, and was frozen in place. "Rlyan? RLYAN?" Whooshi said panicking. "I'm going to get help. you'll have to run. got it?" Whooshi went off without farther response. Probably to crescendo, except he couldn't find her.

Rlyan wakes up, without the surges and without a spren. Whooshi was about to be a faded memory or whatever. The truth was, Rlyan and whooshi were about as connected as lifelight and stormlight, and the smallest mistep was a plungeinto that great black void. What was Cres and ash going to think? Rlyan had no idea where he was. The area around him was black, Either darkness or paint. there was a door behind him. What how did he even get in here? Oh right. he was in that basement room. so what was in here? "hel-" Rlyan said, but clapped a hand to his mouth. this was his discovery. he shouldn't call out, lest he anger Sebrial. opening the door wider to get more light, he clapped his hand to his mouth at what he saw. (what did he see and also dont try to hide it or make her come. What. is. in. the. basement.also he stole the keys just before breakfast and conne timeskipped and so he has the keys.)@Vapor

Whooshi looks at the other spren for help.

"do you have ammesia or what"

"Please tell me you at least know who Rlyan is." Whooshi thought for a second before responding, "he's the guy that wanted to open the basement."

"Whatever. do you wanna find Rylan for me?"

"me. Duh. do you not have a spren or what?"

"I'm not looking for him and thats that."

"still no. You can try to look."

"Won't look."

"no."

"Have not seen him. " Whooshi responded.

Rlyan had no sleep. Rlyan also was nowhere to be seen. probably in the basement. His spren was still in sight, though. Whooshi said hi to everyone, including the new girl he had never seen.

"just really I want to go in there. preferably now"

"so why again can I not go in?"

"Then let me see it" Rlyan said.
