Aster whispered, "Don't laugh at me!" [Aster can use her divine intervention on the platypus. Would this wake it up?]

"I- I," Aster continued in a whisper, looking extremely convoluted, "Have a crush on Eddie. Sorta. Just... don't tell anyone, please." She glanced at Lilyana.

Aster looked at the Arbiter nervously, "uh- I have something to say- just don't tell anyone."

"I- uh" Aster's face turns red, "eh- it-it seemed nice. Yeah. uh" [Totally not the love triangle or anything...]

"I hope for this as well," Aster adds in a hushed tone, "But I can't see it happening soon."

Aster looked down. "I only heard 'shzulak' and 'creator of man'. Wonder what that means. Maybe it's a warning?"

"Let's hide then." Aster said, soothing the awkwardness of the conversation.

"I thought that I saw someone." Aster lowers her voice so only the three girls can hear, "I think we should hide."

The midnight essence takes the flower curiously, then, Cassian gains an understanding. Something beyond words, something that shared exactly what the great unmade was feeling. Scared. Fear. Alone. Upset. All those emotions rushed to Cassian, then by the time the child realized what happened, Re-shephir was gone, and the midnight essence with it.

The midnight essence stops, and looks carefully at him.

"Yeah." Aster smiles awkwardly, "Wait, where did Eddie go?"

The midnight essence advanced towards Cassian, cutting the poor kid off from all angles

"That's... unfortunate. Where I come from, when you use powers, it... tears reality. Causes rifts. And it happens really quickly." Aster said, sniffling, "But what's worse is that everyone congratulated me on it. It felt terrible."
