  1. Basically, what I'm learning from this game is: my zero-information C1 reads are possibly scarily accurate (I suspect; I'll confirm that once the game is over and we know who the elims are), and I am exactly the wrong blend of trusting and paranoid to be playing this game.
  2. No, I have absolutely no idea... And yes, I get it. Remember, I roleclaimed to Ash but then spent all of last cycle thinking he was elim. I even almost RBd him... oof that was stupid of me
  3. Please don't, it's hilarious... and he probably deserves it, given that D1 of QF48, he made a list of all the non-elim players and his thoughts on them, and for you he just wrote "POCKET POCKET POCKET"
  4. Do you actually think that any given group of elims is inexperienced enough to suggest that elim!me behave that erratically? Again, for about the twentieth time, this is my second game, and my first as a villager. Is it really that hard to imagine that I might be a bit... well, disoriented? Edit: After all, if I were an elim I'd have other people to help me make sense of things and I wouldn't constantly doubt who I trust because I'd know what everyone is.
  5. I've had doubts this whole time, Vapor, and if I haven't voiced them on the main thread it was because there were too many of them to even begin. I roleclaimed to Ash before anyone else, and by C3 I was convinced he was an elim, only now it turns out he isn't. I roleclaimed to Reading as well, and had gone back and forth between believing that was a good decision and believing I made a terrible mistake. I ended up advocating that we vote him out, only to realize that he's actually village. I thought that turtle was elim, only I also somehow found myself believing what she said to me in PMs even before we voted her out and saw that she was an obligator. I'm still unsure whether Mist/Fadran is an elim, and I've gone back and forth on that one as well. And obviously, I RBd Gears, then thought he was an elim and anonymously accused him of it, then ended up roleclaiming to him once he told me he was TLR, then went back and forth all of last cycle thinking that he was or wasn't an elim, then started off this cycle voting him, then took my vote off when I realized that I wasn't the only one who found his claim of being TLR half-believable, and then put it back on because the simplest explanation for events thus far is that Gears is an elim. I think the only person I haven't had doubts about at this point is Connie. Edit: by which I mean I've been pretty sure this whole time that she's village.
  6. Yes, that's what I'm doing. Of course, that's what I'd be doing whether I were a fellow elim or a villager who thought they'd been pocketed, and who didn't want to end up implicated next round if he is lynched and is an elim. So I don't really get how that's suspicious.
  7. Yes, I remember that lol. And you're right, one of the elims could decide to try to back up Gears' story by saying they RBd a random villager. So, basically, we're likely to be very suspicious of anyone who claims to be an RBer now, but hadn't before.
  8. I think that if there is a third, that person is either super inactive or an elim. The latter doesn't seem very likely, of course, though it's possible. And as with everything else in this game, I don't know whether there even are three RBers. Honestly, I think I'm leaning back towards Gears being elim at this point... seeing that other people who voted him before took their votes off when he said he was TLR sort of reassured me that I wasn't blindly letting myself be pocketed by his claim (or at least that I wasn't the only one), but idk... Edit: Generally speaking, the simplest explanation is usually the correct one. For all that I can rationalize ways that Gears could be TLR or even village, the simplest explanation remains that he's the elim that targeted Reading C1, and that my guess that he was elim payed off when I RBd him.
  9. Yes, as a matter of fact, I think it's reasonable to say that we are. oof also we should probably go back to discussing game things, or we should move to PMs.
  10. np lol Hmmm @Experience, though, you've been quiet. What do you think? Edit: Wait don't tell me, XP is a spectator, aren't they... Edit edit: yes they are I'm so smart...
  11. Actually I'm usually a grammar and spelling nazi, but for these posts I'm usually typing very fast and coming up with what I'm saying as I write it, so it's never very organized... oof anyway yes I am applying to colleges. Hopefully I sound a bit more mature in my essays...
  12. Conversely, if he's an elim and spiked, then they might attack him to give him credibility. Edit: Though I acknowledge that that's riskier for them and thus a less likely outcome.
  13. Well given that SE has already turned into a massive, stressful time-sink for me, I don't think adding more things would really be the best idea...
  14. lol I'm literally only on 17th Shard for SE so that's not a problem for me... anyway, I was following the thread but I had my notifications set so that it didn't send me a notification if someone posted... So like... that was so smart of me
  15. I think I have mine set to follow threads I post on automatically? Let me check that tho lol it's possible I'm not following this.
  16. What kind of elim plot? The kind where I claim in PMs that I've RBd Gears, then pass the chain on to accuse them, then we don't start a counter-chain, then I post on the discussion board proposing that maybe one elim RBd another, then we post on the board, publicly, that I've RBd Gears? I feel like that's a little bit insane from an elim standpoint, y'know?
  17. I actually did gain new information, Danex: I learned that there were other people also willing to believe that Gears might be village. Before that I wasn't sure I trusted my own judgement/reads on Gears but since I'm not the only one, I'm more inclined to think I'm right. And yes, you're correct, if Gears isn't elim, there must be three RBers.
