  1. Well... thank you Chanarach or Vedel, first of all. Second of all, what? Obviously this doesn't mean that Matrim's the Stone Shaman, since they're no longer immune to night kills. So either Matrim has an Honorblade or someone who trusts him does, I guess.
  2. So in 6 minutes we may or may not lose PMs for the next 48 hours... whoever didn't do PMs during the day, I hope you've submitted an action to keep them open now
  3. Well, PMs weren't open, so unless there's a secret role that can use PMs anyway, there was no way for Danex to communicate to the elims that he was truthless and ask them to stage a lynch.
  4. I doubt most elims would do it anyway--it just draws attention to them. And in the end, if nobody claims elim that means there's even more uniformity between the village and the elims, whereas if some people claim elim we can factor that into their playstyles and use it as extra information on them--if they use RNG to decide whether they do or not, it's just a null, but if there's some kind of pattern we can exploit that. I'd say it actually makes it harder for elims to blend in, because if elim-claims (or village-claims, or role-claims, or any other kind of claim) become fairly common, then it forces the elims to factor that into their playstyle--it's one more thing to think about. Edit: @Elandera It's only a problem if we assume it means that someone's village--so long as we don't factor it into our assessment of their alignment at all, or so long as we take it in comparison to what that person has done in the past, it's just another playstyle trait.
  5. How does it hurt the village if it becomes safe for people to claim elim? So long as it doesn't make us more likely to trust someone (and in Gears' case I don't think it does, since he always does it) it doesn't matter at all. If being able to claim elim is safe for everyone, it affects no one, basically.
  6. Illwei My reasoning is as follows: Illwei and I are currently tied, which means that either of us has a 50% chance of survival. If I'm the one who dies, I'm dead this turn anyway, and if Illwei dies and doesn't flip elim, you'll likely pursue your suspicions of me next turn anyway, since I was one of the two who voted her. Since I'm most likely going to die anyway, it might as well be this turn. Edit: I hate myself for using "anyway" three times in that paragraph but whatever.
  7. Yes, that makes sense... in retrospect that seems way too sus for it to be an elim doing it, tbh but it worked out for Danex so yay him ig?
  8. Stone Shaman, singular (there's only one). Also, who was it who originally suggested lynching Danex? (ik it doesn't make you look more sus because there's no way the Truthless could have coordinated that lynch with anyone, but still).
  9. Yes, and both times I was wrong. I still thought you were sus at the beginning of the game (and at the beginning of the LG) but I've come to associate that with village!Illwei--and also, Edit: redacted because it has to do with a current game
  10. Yeah, Illwei also knows that it's not weird for me to read her as village... and I still don't know how I've managed to come off as not hedgy--I've kind of assumed that everyone read my posts with the subtext "but I could be dead wrong" since I am dead wrong so much of the time (The number of times I've brought up the events of MR46 in the past few days is astounding, but: MR46).
  11. I couldn't have; I left just after I posted my last vote for family stuff, and I barely had time to write the post about Ash being ninja'd.
  12. Wait oh right I even asked Ash about this and then forgot you can't vote during the... yeah okay I'm still new alright. I... yeah. Alvron (do I even need to do that?)
  13. I'm just going to put this out there: I don't think Connie is elim. I don't think Illwei is elim. I'm more worried about Alv, who, in retrospect, went to great lengths to make this a tie... I don't know whether that necessarily means Alv is elim, but having a tie certainly does make outcomes more uncertain and it was what allowed Danex to commit death, so... I mean, not exactly a great outcome. So, for now, Alvron
  14. Yeah, I'm wondering whether it was actually SfS... if I'd been thinking I'd have said that they should wait until night... I didn't actually mean for people to open PMs during the Day
  15. Okay, so first of all, we know exactly who put the extra vote on Danex: it was Danex. They had Kalak's Honorblade, which has the vote-add feature, Cohesion. They spent a Stormlight to add a vote so that they would definitely die and meet their win condition. Second of all, PMs? I'm way too excited about this even though we have them for only 24 hours... lol let's see what I can do with that
  16. Actually, noting that Danex can shift their vote from Illwei to Connie, I will also vote Danex to preemptively tie it. Also I will not be on again until after rollover.
  17. I want to keep Gears around so I would vote Danex if I were you Connie. But since I'm not, it's up to you. I... might be convinced to vote Danex with you, except that if Danex dies and flips vil, it makes me look sus for trying to protect Gears? Maybe? Or for trying to protect you? Even though I just don't really want either of you to die C1... idk Edit: Ok, nvm, I'll stay vote-less in that case.
  18. This is mostly accurate, except that we may very well end up lynching one or more of the people they've already added to their murder pool at some point, which would set them back.
  19. ...uhhh was that just a claim from Somebody? Did I miss something? Is this a... a thing we knew about already? Edit: Okay so I'm not just hallucinating, Alv sees it too. I thought we said it was a bad idea to claim??? Or at least, a bad idea in the thread? 'cause the elims will want to kill you to get your Blade?
  20. I have so many plans I want to enact to try to figure out what people's alignments are... but I can't because I need PMs to do them (for that matter, I need PMs to verify with someone else that I'm not missing some super obvious flaw in those plans...)
