  8. As someone who can relate, how many friends do you nearly not have? (Follow up question, do you understand that question better than I do? Because I have no idea.)
  9. *looks how long he's been on the shard- joined: October 7th* Ah. Yes. Twenty days. I remember... um... I've been on here for a while... Hehe. Twenty days. Yeah. I've... been here for longer than that. I'm... experienced...
  10. Now I've got a pretty good vocabulary, so you can trust me when I say, I'm pretty sure "sanity" isn't a real word.

Verdin stood for a moment on the hill as the others went forward, blanking, but then snapped back into the present and sprinted towards the town, trying to find people who may have been injured. He might be able to carry two or three, depending on circumstances... he might need to find some food, but he should be fine for a while.

    You can do it.
  14. Well, that's just rich. (There. Now you're rich, and it can be a thing! [Can't vouch for filthy, though...])

Virden walked a little while behind Harmony and... what was his name? Qavisxu. He overheard Harmony's explanation of her talent, and made a conclusion. He had obviously been suspicious that these people weren't from the same world as he was, but throughout all his studies, Virden always came to the conclusion that no Magics, other than Shifting and Shaping, existed outside of Yelbried. What Harmony described was obviously Magic, and Virden could not explain Qavisxu's Crack of Transportion, either, so... to a scholar of Magics, this was incredible! Other worlds, with completely different kinds of Magic! But, however excited he may be because of the proving of this, it wasn't exactly polite to eavesdrop, no matter how intentional it may be. So Virden kept to himself.
  16. Books before friends. 17th shard before the real world. Release dates before birthdays. And I will make fun of the unmakefunable. I take these solemn oaths, and establish myself as a Quipsmith.

"Then, If there are no disputations, let us be off!", said Verdin. He wondered who the other people might be. People pulled to this location, like his group? Natives, who could help them? Or something else?

"Well then! Shall we be off to this group of people, or should we find this invisible person?", Verdin said with a renewed vigor. If people were near, there would be a chance they were natives, and they could find out where they where.

" We don't know what could live here. You could have seen an animal that got away." But Verdin was suspicious. He had given himself good senses, and he had heard something. But he could investigate later.

"Virden Vuurda. Chief Scholar of k'kur in the study of the origin of magics. As well as a generally confused and mildly frustrated man, at the moment." Virden gestured towards the group. "and they're the other people who got stuck here". "and as for our location... any ideas?"

"Unfortunate, but not unexpected". Virden sighed slightly, then asked, "who are you, then?"
