  1. "The group dynamic has everything to do with the quality of the prophecy. If the prophecy is excellent, then it will set up who is meant to be in the quest itself. This is important for setting up conflict and possible drama in the future. Now, did you want to fill out a CEF?"
  2. "I'm here to help the little guy, I simply want to be sure that you have a high quality prophecy to guide your adventure. As they say, it's the prophecy that makes the quest."
  3. The man ponder on that statement for a short time."Hmmm, it seems that we have you in our data banks. There might be some clerical error in our system, or perhaps one of you has previously signed some form of binding contract? That isn't my specialty though, so if you want to resolve that issue we'll have to send down someone from the AQC in order to straighten that out. You'll of course have to file the appropriate paperwork."
  4. "Yeah, you can see the problem. I've never been a fan of using ratings to determine what you should do in a show, but I guess that's why I'm in HR and not in story development. So you'd say that you're satisfied with your group's dynamic?"
  5. "Oh, you're jumping ahead of me, I was referring to the emotion and drama of the relationships in the group."
  6. "Puppetmaster magician guy? We got two complaints involving him, so I'll need to talk with him. Seems like the rest about where you got the prophecy from are all trolls again." The man started to write on papers as he systematically took them out of the briefcase and then replaced them again. "Next, we have a few complaints about the party dynamic being not up to standards as established by ratings, what are you feelings about that?"
  7. The man thought about this for a second before nodding, "I guess you could say that we're government. Now, I did want to address some of the complaints we've been receiving, let me see here." The man started rifling through his briefcase. 'Ah yes, here we are. We have received a few complaints concerning the method of which you've received the prophecy, so I wanted to double check that those who are complaining have their sources right." The man began to squint at a piece of paper. "Did you receive your prophecy from a talking frog with wings?"
  8. "Oh, only for favored bards and those gods who love a good epic. Now, I'm not the guy you want to talk with about going through our records; that would be Clinici, she knows those records better than her own grandchildren. Would you care to sign the papers so that we quickly address the reason that I came here."
  9. "Typically, we only meet with a person once as they start their quest or hear their first prophecy, think of it as a form of orientation. I'm not sure why you guys are just finding out about this, might've been some sort of clerical error, I'll check with Ralph. But I'm a follow-up official, not an orientation guy, so that means that something needs to be taken care of."
  10. The man chuckles in amusement. "Of course, we have to have an order to everything." "As I said, there's gotta be an order to everything. So these NRA-103 forms need to be filled so that we don't accidentally send another guy to talk with you. We just get complaints from time to time, they don't normally mean much, but I'm from the APAC, or the Agency for the Control and Appropriation of Prophecies. Quick question before we get this ball rolling, is this your first dealing with a prophecy?" The man whips out another form and a pen from one of his many suit pockets.
  11. "Of course not ma'am, but things do get unusual when you have to be visited more than once."
  12. "Ma'am- oh the dossier said you were going by a different name this time, some sort of letter. Well, I'll need you to sign an additional form if you wish to take part in this group, I'm sure you're familiar with this system. Although I must say, I didn't think I'd ever get to work with you."
  13. "Yes, thank you la-, Crescendo. So I think that I'll uh, turn it off now." Ros stepped near the floor and closed his eyes as he focused.
  14. "Yes, so this must be the right group, as I said, I'm from the HR department of A-C-A-P and I was assigned to speak with you folk as a group about some complaints we've been receiving. I'll need you to sign these forms notifying that you did indeed receive my visit." The man opened up his briefcase and pulled out a small piece of wood that when he placed it in front of him, it grew legs and became a small table. The man then placed a number of papers on the small table along with several pens.
  15. Ros shifted his center of mass so that he would slide across the floor, slowing his fall until he reached the wall. He was short of breath as he spoke next. "That was not what I meant to do."
  16. The man furrowed his brow, looking quite concerned. "Are you not . . . oh I hate my job sometimes. How do I put this? Do any of you wield the uh . . . shoot, I can't say that. Are any of you the . . . dang, can't say that either. Do any of you have some sort of mystical sword? Also, I was notified of some sort of squid being involved in this group."
  17. Ros took in a breath of Stormlight and said, "so, I should just be able t- WHAAA." Ros cried out as he started fall towards the wall
  18. The man gasped while he tried to collect himself, he then straightened up and nodded towards Melody. "Hello and good day madam, I'm hear from the A-C-A-P in response to the prophecy that you just came into possession of."
  19. BOOM, random appearance with little to no context. A man came running into view of the group, as soon as he saw them he started to run towards them. The man wore a cheap suit and carried a small briefcase, his hair was greased back and his face was covered in sweat as he ran towards the group. As he neared, he started to slow down while trying to catch his breath.
  20. Ros looked skeptically at the wall. "So all I do is the same thing that I did for the pillow, just on myself?" Ros placed his hands on his chest, "do I need to do this?"
  21. Bandar turned towards Red. "Yeah, I think it's safe to assume that I won't be getting those chains back. Those were good quality chains too. Oh, just so that you know, I'm garbage at tracking, absolutely can't compare to my sister." @Aspiring Writer
