The colonel was about to say something, then paused as he considered it again. "Who's justice?"

The colonel glared at Kane. "Why lie? Why are you interested in this group?"

The colonel nodded, but he continued to watch Kane. "Now, why would you turn yourself in?"

"I have my orders, and I have to follow them. If I could kill her now, then she'd already be dead. Besides, I've done enough to piss off command."

The colonel placed a hand on his sidearm. "As much as I'd like to take care of her personally, I have orders from up top which clearly state that she is to be brought in alive."

"Your friends are gathering to discuss what to do next. I'll be joining you."

Without taking his eyes off of Kane, the colonel spoke to Lloyd and Aryanna. "I have two things to tell you. First off, we're approaching shore." The colonel paused as he watched Kane, gauging his reaction. @I Am A Fish

The Colonel entered the room and spared a glance towards Aryanna before moving towards the cell. He stood before Kane's cell and simply watched.

'You might, but I would like to see you dead instead." With that comment, the Colonel walked off.

"We will see yevon. I will make sure that you get what you deserve yevon, but the command is more interested in using you while your alive. Now, there's the other that I have to check on yevon, stay here." The Colonel turned around and walked towards the door.

"I hear you boast of your powers and strength, I've witnessed it firsthand. What's stopping you from escaping yevon?"

"Tell me Yevon, why are you here?"

The Colonel nodded again. He then approached Trace's cell. "Answer me this prisoner, what are you?"

The Colonel nodded, despite still looking as if he didn't understand completely. "First I must be sure that the prisoners are secure. I will talk with you and your friends soon."

"Whether or not that's true, I've bee-" The Colonel glared at Janice, watching her closely. "Is she like you?"

"It covers what's under it, which is what it's supposed to do." The Colonel nodded towards Trace. "How dangerous is she?"

"Then I am Colonel Tucam, Paladin of the Raodean military. You are the one who's soul is 'artificial?'"

"Human?" The man looked slightly confused at the question. "Are you asking for my name?"

"I'm a Colonel in the Raodean army. Why?"

As Lloyd turned around he saw the masked man standing in the background, close enough to hear the whole thing. He nodded to Lloyd.

The Sailor nodded and walked away, presumably off to do work on the ship.

"Why else would the mask be bronze? I hear that witches and their magic are weak to bronze." Right as the sailor finished his statement, he rounded a corner and walked down a hall. He pointed towards a door. "There's the sick bay ma'am."

The sailor looked around the halls, making sure that once again there were no officers in earshot. "From what I hear, he ain't never told nobody 'bout it, but I hear that half of his face was stolen by a witch. The only reason she didn't get his whole face is because he killed her before she could."
