Tears were welling up in the Tulcam's eyes, and he looked away from Cruz. When he looked back, his expression was still angry, but it held a high level of conflict in it. He opened his mouth to speak, but nothing came out. He quickly turned away again, the memory of her strong in his mind, as well as what he had done. He closed his eyes for a brief moment, clenching his teeth as he remembered. After the moment, he straightened himself and cleared his face of anger and conflict, leaving a seemingly calm expression as he took a deep breath. "You will stay in my custody until you can be given a fair trial Cruz. We shall see if you 'justice' was worth the cost."

The colonel seemed to be building up momentum, "what did you think, that murdering so many in cold blood would be worth it? Because you thought to get justice on your own, hundreds of people will never see their loved ones again, ever. Now what about all of those people who have to suffer through loosing someone dear to them? Who's going to give them 'justice?'"

Pior came up behind Val, putting a hand onto her shoulder protectively. "Don't worry 'bout it, hot eyes over there has this in control."

"Justice you say? Was it justice to kill those around them?" The colonel took a firm step towards Cruz, "was it justice to kill Staff Sergeant Kiley Feldman? What was her sin? What about Second Lieutenant Almad Biently, what did he do?"

The colonel shook his head, "no, why did you kill anyone in the first place?"

"Hmm? Oh those; well, they were actually the point of a lot of contention." Arthur spared another glance towards his handlers.

"In some ways it's been an adventure, although I'm fairly sure not everyone would see it like that."

Pior followed behind, taking up the back of the group. He walked casually and simply looked around, appearing disinterested.

"Hmm? Oh, I got chocolate fudge with raspberry syrup, very tasty."

The colonel turned back to Cruz. "I'm no cop or lawyer, but I need to know, why did you do it?"

Arthur's smile turned sly, "or make yourself the center of it."

Pior looked as if he were trying to be sarcastically offended. "What? You trying to avoid what happened last time?"

It seems that we did. We must remove all evidence before Condensation sees. "Wise man from what I hear, and I thought you had taken his most famous saying to heart, 'Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.'"

Aarthur smiled, "you know, I assumed that you had started to follow the sage advice of the ancient philosopher Wu Garren."

Pior straightened himself, "well, no need to stay here any longer than we have to. Let's get this over with."

Even with this explanation, the colonel still looked somewhat confused. The colonel looked up at Cadenza, "all I have is what's on me." He gestured to his combat uniform.

Ros stayed very close behind Crescendo, although he was making a noticeable attempt to remain a few steps farther back than before; keeping his thoughts to himself.

Pior stumbled towards Vivace and grabbed to her shoulder for support as he remained hunched over, looking as if he were about the puke again. "Quite the sight," Pior gagged, "isn't it?"

The colonel turned towards Cadenza, "I need you to explain this whole thing about Trace and Janice; I have absolutely no clue what is happening with her . . . or them."

Arthur quite obviously made a show of squinting his eyes before giving an over-exaggerated gasp. "Ah, now you're in quite a sparkling quality; much better." He made another quick glance at his handlers, "so, which flavor did you get?"

Arthur blushed before looking away. He spoke under his breath at first, "Embezzle me." He glanced quickly at his handlers, somehow managing to look more flustered, "it's uh . . . I can't see stuff that's far off very well without my glasses, and your right at that distance that things get fuzzy."

Pior shuddered before leaning off to his left in order to puke. He gathered himself after a short while, "never get used to that. Nope, never."

"Hmm, oh them? They're here to make sure that nothing bad happens to my organization of course, no matter the cost." Arthur began to lick his ice cream, looking at Melody straight in the eyes as if to give some sort of nonverbal message, but he clearly wasn't very good at it.

"That 'Queen' again, I don't like this one bit. I was told that Trace said something to you before she left, what was it?"
