  1. Bandar cursed as the person escaped his tackle. He then tried to sprint after the individual, giving it everything he had to catch up and tackle the person.
  2. Bandar sprang into action, trying to tackle the individual who had started running.
  3. Bandar stood up in a crouching position to keep his center of gravity low, and therefore, giving him better balance. He started to head towards whatever he saw.
  4. Bandar took a few steps back before getting a running start to jump up the wall. After he leaped, he grabbed the edge of the roof and hoisted himself up and over the side to see if he could identify what he saw.
  5. Bandar went around the building, focusing on the windows and possible points of entry to see if any had been compromised. He was about to make his way inside until he spotted something on the roof. Bandar began to look for a way to climb up there safely.
  6. Bandar decided to do one more check around the building before the sun started to rise. It was perhaps an hour before sunrise, and he intended to be ready to move before the sun showed its face. He picked up a small pack of equipment before making his way around the inside of the building, checking all of the entrances to be sure that they were secure before he made his way to the side door to check the outside perimeter. Bandar opened the door and headed outside. @Condensation
  7. Jane walked away from the prison building. That was the most stupid thing that you have ever done. That we have ever done, I recall a distinct lack of objections after a certain point. Besides, you think that he will care if you wanted to or not. We did it, and now we get to rejoice through the consequences. You make it sound as if only good will come from this, I think that I won't be the only one who calls you an idiot for saying that. We did it, now make the most of it. Even if she proves to be a problem, we get to have the fun of solving it. Even still, that was foolish, we don't know if she will cause us harm, cause HIM harm. Get over yourself, it's done. Jane shook her head disapprovingly, but she conceded the point. Might as well double check a few things before heading back to him. You're stalling, aren't you? We have to talk with him. I remember one of us wanting to delay that just a few hours ago. Vulles stayed quiet. She had a point, delaying wouldn't solve this. Jane walked around the Amal encampment before she decided to head off, back to the settlement where she last left him.
  8. Vulles turned to look back at Chorale once more. "I think that I should be thanking you, but the best way to repay me is by not remembering that this ever happened. Safe travels Ms Chorale-Vivace." Vulles walked out of the building at a swift pace, taking on a face filled with urgency as she started to pick up her pace as she went.
  9. Before Chorale got to Vulles's fist, she opened it and dropped a key out of it. She then turned her back towards the cell and started to slowly walk away.
  10. Vulles smiled, she held her fist near the cell window. "Take your pick of reasons, a good friend, a great sense of judgement, secret hidden agenda, orders from up top, or whatever you wish. This is a very limited time offer, so best take advantage of me before I come to my senses."
  11. "If we meet again, act as if it's the first time." As Vulles finished speaking, she put her hand in her pocket and pulled out a fist full of something.
  12. Vulles stopped in front of the cell door. "I know that we just met, but I'm going to ask for a favor from you."
  13. Vulles stood up from her spot before making her way towards the cell door. "Yes, that's rather fortunate for me, since I don't need to worry about that, especially since I am always truthful. I believe that it is always fun to consider possible events, even when it may seem impossible."
  14. Vulles smiled. "Of course, a devoted amal like me would never even consider doing anything that could lead to someone trying to bring harm to our glorious leader. Perish the very thought. Although, it would be fairly unfortunate if the prison guard left the key behind in his hurry, and then the skilled prisoner managed to find a way to get it unbeknownst to the temporary substitute. Then, Mother Forbid, if the skilled prisoner managed to overpower the substitute guard somehow, she would be free to roam around the compound."
  15. "Funny thing about betrayals if you follow this logic. You could take it two ways, be the one who takes the action to trust, or be the one who acts on the betrayal first. You don't like Kade, if you escaped, would you work to take him down?" You sly human, you. Oh hush, I haven't decided anything yet; besides, she might make our job easier. Just evidence for why we should always do what I say. I couldn't list the reasons why that in and of itself is a bad idea if I had a week, so hush.
  16. "I know a guy who was probably crazy, but he'd say something wise every so often. Among the many things that he said to me, one of his high points was a question; would you rather act, or react? Which sounds stupid when you say it, but the idea behind it is pretty alright. Will you control your own life by acting, or will you allow others to control you by reacting to what they do? He then followed this up by trying to convince me that all of humanity is addicted to water, so keep that in mind."
  17. "So you'd rather not break the tradition that others have set for you. Why strike out when you can conform?"
  18. "If you say so. Then you just gotta live with the thoughts of who you abandoned."
  19. Jane nodded. "It might be a good idea to get out while things are calm, settle down somewhere and live out the rest of your life. But I guess you would have to be fine with people changing the world around you."
  20. "Very keen observation. But I feel that things are only going to get worst."
  21. "Fine, you got me there. Although working with this crowd, we're practically dancing on Death's doorstep."
  22. "We're all gonna die, how's that for a need to know thing."
  23. "Being lost is no fun, I guess that you can use this unique . . . opportunity to take some time to mull about it. Taking some time to sit down and think is more important than most give it credit for. Guidance is also nice, I mean, I don't know where I'd be without the right guidance. Well, I can guess, and I don't like where those guesses go."
  24. "I know many people who can come up with some nasty names for my job, but I prefer "Informer," it cuts straight to the point without any of the nasty baggage someone would want to tag onto it. What about you, what are you? I guess more importantly, how do you define yourself?"
