So what exactly is the point of this thread? What are we here to do? I know it's the first day, but just thought I'd ask.

I have tried what you described on my mobile out of curiosity, and I have also experienced no problem pasting things in reply to status updates.

Speaking of card games, what card game were the parshmen playing in OB? Is it based of a game, and if not, where can I find the rules?

What exactly is the point of this thread? I know the goal (Which is never gonna happen) but what do people do on here? How/what do you choose to talk about?

Okay, but what about the two genre's together? Fantasy with sci-fi elements or sci-fi with fantasy elements (Like my book) is awesome, right?

I don't think the Dor is being used here. It might be just a sign of Kelsier's expanding knowledge or perhaps is working with people with that knowledge.

Jack chuckled. "Well, we leave in the morning. I'm going to catch some shut-eye. You keep a lookout."

"No, it really didn't. But Red seems to trust you, so I guess you're fine." jack paused. "That, or she wanted to have a distraction if everything went to hell."

"Well, in the morning, Red will be taking us somewhere, where I'm sure you'll see some action. Pretty sure that was why she was so quick to hire you."

Jack nodded. "So how used are you to traveling?"

Jack blinked... then started laughing, startling Elene. Red popped an eye open but otherwise was unfazed. "You, my friend, have a death wish. And I am glad to say you have come to the right place." Jack closed his book, still laughing. "We've had four other bodyguards before you, and once they heard how much they would have to face, they all looked like they wanted nothing more than to jump out the nearest window. But you... you heard of how many people wanted to kill you and smiled. You will fit in nicely, assuming you survive all the assassins who want us dead."

Jack nodded. "And seeing as she hired you in a very public place, quitting may not be much of an option."

Amend it so the person needs permission. Also, why is nobody doing anything?!
