  1. I actually really like this. maybe I'll change my username . I...have not watched Hotel Transylvania.
  2. I don't have discord, so I won't join. But you guys can still do it, my presence shouldn't determine whether or not it is created.
  3. Drae chuckled as he watched the lady crawl out the door. He sat in silence for a moment, enjoying his gin and watching the chaos unfold before following suite and slipping out into the night. Drae walked around the outside of the tavern and sat himself cross-legged on the dusty ground beneath a window. He drew pictures in the dirt as he eavesdropped on the conflict inside, contemplating whether he should start soothing. Cleaning up a tavern fight usually earnt him a free drink or two if he settled it down nice and proper, but he didn't really fancy playing with the emotions of a steel inquisitor; he preferred to keep his allomancy close to his chest, he didn't want too many people picking him out as easily as that lady. She must have been an emotional allomancer aswell, or at least a close associate of one.
  4. Then Uncle Brandy's tape lost its stickiness.
  5. You are a Stick, I am a Twig. Yay!

(Sorry if this is super weird and random, it's late)

  6. Hehe, so true. I'm on summer break so I got all the time in the world (until school starts in feb).
  7. Drae flipped his hood down as he walked into the tavern, this was where it was whispered that work would be waiting; work that involved aluminium would be familiar to him and scars, was he desperate for work. He stopped in the doorway for a moment and hushed the urge to sooth the hidden tension out of the room. Drae took a deep breath a stode foward. These ruffians wont bother me, they dont got no reason to, he thought in reassureance to himself. He was dressed like he had enough money for a drink or two, but in reality he was dirt poor from the mess-up in Elendel. So he casually slipped a drink from a nearby women's hand, giving her a knowing smirk and a subtle emotional push to stop the lady from fussing. Then Drae walked over to an empty table and slumped down in a nearby chair "mmm" he muttered to himself in approval "gin." @Ookla the Stick
  8. Yeah, I haven’t read a lot of his work either, the ones I talked about before pretty much make up the entirety of my list. But I love his work and this conversation has me tempted to buy a collection of his poems.
  9. YESSS!! I even chose one of his poems for a recital in English. I recited Alone because it is my favourite work of his. I also like Annabel Lee. I struggle to take The Raven seriously because I imagine it as being set in a portaloo instead of a normal chamber room. I’ve never read/listened to The Tell-Tale Heart, but I’ll give it a go soon.
  10. Lol, I didnt even know this was a book. Ive seen the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical a few times because tPotO is my favourite work of his. It is an awesome story.
  11. Yay. I'm on my phone and I dont know how. Okie. I'll add it to my TBR. I need a book with pretty writing because the ones I've read lately have had some pretty shaky prose. I'm generally not a plot based reader so it shouldn't bother me too much, but......I do like good endings hmmmmm. I need to read Frankenstein too. He's so iconic and the book is apparently awsome.
  12. I liked the character Dracular because of his context in the book, so I feel aprehenive about other Draculas. Does that make sense? I might give The Historian a shot anyway because I like reading in the genre. I was making really obsure Dracula references for way to long after reading the book so I was nicknamed 'Count insert my surname here' for a while. I sorta miss being called Count because being a vampire is fun.
  13. Granted, while your gaming chair is not lame, it gets increasingly cooler as you sit in it. Try not to freeze to death . I wish to be able to afford all the books on my TBR list.
  14. Random question: Have you guys read Dracula by Bram Stoker? It's a good book.
  15. Ummm, a quarter of your bones are located in your feet. That's good to hear. Being sick sorta sucks.
  16. I havent made my character yet, but could I join?
  17. There, I fixed it. Thanks for picking up on that, speling errors bugg me sometimes.
  18. *blows a rasberry defiantly in your direction*
  19. Thanks! I ate some of the last veggies from my garden. Its sorta sad, but I had to rip up half my veggie patch because my parents cant really help look after it anymore and keeping the plants alive is more than a 1 man job. (yay, more random facts about my life )
  20. No you lose! (insert uno reverse card). *mutters quiet abuses that I don't really mean*
  21. Offt, are you alright? I'm eating dinner at the moment so...good evening!
  22. Woop woop! That's the longest win I've had. It was, but my bro got food poisoning from it so.....eww
  23. Hmmm, Brady Sandy, I actually haven’t heard that one before. (Maybe I live under a rock) I’ve had a lot of peer pressure to read Percy Jackson. But they’ve just been chilling on my TBR because I’ve never has much incentive to read them.
  24. They were good, I had one in a salad and another cooked canton-style with fried noodles.
