  1. "Who put a rusting spike in Survivor's rusting eye?" He laughed, his forehead creasing and his tired eyes lighting up "And why, might I ask, did he not tell his church about this." Drae's face lit up like a tomato from the sheer absurdity it all. Someone had gone and spiked his God. SomEoNe HaD SpiKeD hiS gOd. He leaned on his quarterstaff as he regained his composure then pointed an accusatory finger at Eryn "and you've met him. right?" he asked weakly. "um, I would like to come too. It seems my God has been ripping me off, Ett's forbidden art and all; maybe you could tell me more about this 'Soverign' dude whom I apparently worship." Drae said "uh, My names Drae by the way." He dropped his arm weakly, groaning slightly and reaching out to take a swig of an abandoned drink that had somehow survived the fight.
  2. He accidentaly starnutio some glitter up his friend Fred's nose.
  3. Unfathomable
  4. It was interesting, listening to them sneeze in Italian.
  5. This is true, but it just made his death more tragic. He didn't earn a triumph from progressing as a radiant like his appearance on the oath gate in OB, he just died. Part of me is inclined to agree with you, a larger part of me is ashamed to exist in the same plane of existence as you. hehe, my jimmies are thoroughly rustled.
  6. Moash can go die alone in a dark hole that is moist. But I really want him to get a good redemption arc because it will make me feel so many emotions that I don't want to feel, but I low-key love feeling. I would love Moash to become a protagonist that does good, heroic things because I would hate him to his guts. I love feeling conflicted when reading. I want his redemption arc more after RoW compared to Oathbringer because Teft's death was a pike to my heart and it made me want to kick Moash till his guts exploded, but this just means that my emotions I'll be even more heightened if his theoretical redemption arc is pulled of well.
  7. My school library has quite a large fantasy section in it, but it's not very diverse. All of the books heavily follow YA tropes, which is fine, it's just not my cup of tea. I got one of my friends (who volunteers at the school library) to encourage the librarian to get Mistborn. So now everyone at my school can enjoy Mistborn era 1. I think I convince them to get Elantris, Skyward and Warbreaker aswell, but SA wouldn't really belong in my school library , so they probably wouldn't get it unless I bullied them am really convincing when I pitch it. I have let a lot of people at my school borrow my SA books before since they aren't at the school or local library, I have even given them to people that I only vaguely know in other year groups then cross my fingers and hope that they'll return them. The mini Sanderson army I built from doing have taken up the slogan #sharethesanderson and when we chat together we often shout WE SHALL CONVERT THEM ALL (into cosmere fans). yay
  8. Thanks Valerie, I'm more of a short story writer aswell, but I usually write series of them in the same world because I like big world building. I might try out Scrivener when I next create a new world to write in.
  9. Then she might think something along the lines of "why are these people making so much of a fuss about this, Twig's punctuation is perfect"
  10. nooooooooo why did you @ her. i punctuate properly when she's around, but my natural state is a lazy typer. @Condensation please don't get me in trouble
  11. Drae returned the glare with a scowl and a good measure of silence. "no, you haven't" Drae replied reluctantly, "I was just being dramatic." his scowl slipped of his face and was replaced with a cheeky smile.
  12. good question. where are you? where am I? where are we? haha no capital letters
  13. I write with a bunch of Word Docs dumped into a semi-organised folder. I would love a recommendation for a good writing program because my current system is a mess.
  14. Yay, I'm glad you liked it.
  15. Congratulations for your win. Your prize is a virtual pat on the back.
  16. Drae stomed back to the front door from his handy place beneath the window. Those people in there must be crazies, rambling on like they were about a magic spikes and mysterious southern lands. He barged through the door into the middle of the room "what in the survivor's name are you guys hereticing about" he declared.
  17. Cool. One time when I was skiing I dropped my pole off the chairlift. It was a sad day. I’m just going to ignore this treachery.
  18. Bye Bye. Have fun (even though your probably already gone).
  19. Man, Teft was one of my favourite characters and I honestly wouldn't of minded if he reached his forth ideal before Kal . I really related to him and I had a super strong emotional response to many of his scenes. His funeral scene was a real punch in my guts because his epic funeral showed how loved he was by the other characters and it was revealed just how much he exaggerated his own stuff-ups. I still sob sometimes when I think too much about Teft's story or see a good fannart of him, even though it's been over 2 months since I read RoW. (I would of made a new thread for this comment, but that is a scary thing to do.)
