I have 3 really close friends who solely read sci-fi fantasy. but they all refuse to get into the cosmere because I talk about it to much and they like spiteing me. My other close friends are into gaming and anime. Together we make up the most socially awkward and introverted group that I have ever come accross to the point where people get intimidated by us because sometimes we just stand around together and dont talk. And my mum thinks I have no friends

My friend calls Marsh Mash and it drives me insane. Mash makes me imagine him as a bowl of mash potato. And I pronounce Kaladin as Keladen. Kaaladin with the first 'a' sounded long just sounds wrong in my head. I also imagine Kelsier as a brunette and get momentarily confused when I see fanart of him with blonde hair. I forworn, do not challenge me on these opinions no matter how twisted they seem to you.

I got into Sanderson when I picked Mistborn era 1 off my dad's bookshelf, he lent me MB because he wanted me to read a good female protagonist. He also had tWoK part 1 which I read next. He didn't have the rest of the stormlight books because he was having trouble getting through tWoK. But, by the time I finished oathbringer I was like DUDE YOU NEED TO READ THIS (and his now reading RoW). Then my dad pulled out Elantris from the back of his bookshelf. His Elantris was obviously well loved and falling apart; I had a blast reading it. My dad and I continued to trade cosmere books, and now we're both obsessed with Sanderson and we bond over his books. Part of the reason i love Sanderson so much is because it has provided easy segways in convos with my dad into important issues like mental health and other hard-hitting topics that I otherwise wouldnt have to courage to bring up in conversation.

*yay stoneward party* I have always presumed that Hoid was once a stoneward at some point in his long life since he once swore an oath akin to the stoneward ideals. But now he is no longer a stoneward so......Sucks to be him.

I was so excited for it, I've been watching the two planets for get cliser together for about a month now. But I'm at my Grandna's house where there is a big ol' mountain blocking the great conjunction. Plus, therr was fog aroind the mountain top so I wouldnt of gotten a good view from the sumit if i tried. Welp, i'll just wait another 800 years for this to happen again.
