@BinarySecond see WoR ch 11.
Its here under spoiler tag
SpoilerShallan awoke mostly dry, lying on an uneven rock that rose from the ocean. Waves lapped at her toes, though she could barely feel them through the numbness. She groaned, lifting her cheek from the wet granite. There was land nearby, and the surf sounded against it with a low roar. In the other direction stretched only the endless blue sea. She was cold and her head throbbed as if she’d banged it repeatedly against a wall, but she was alive. Somehow. She raised her hand—rubbing at the itchy dried salt on her forehead—and hacked out a ragged cough. Her hair stuck to the sides of her face, and her dress was stained from the water and the seaweed on the rock. How . . . ? Then she saw it, a large brown shell in the water, almost invisible as it moved toward the horizon. The santhid.

Some fun tidbits for you @Amira hope you'll enjoy them:
1. The title of chapter 75 is "in the top room", remember where this phrase was mentioned? See chapter 57, when Hoid is telling the story about Wandersail:
“Derethil and his men came out of the tower a short time later, carrying a desiccated corpse in fine robes and jewelry. ‘This is your emperor?’ Derethil demanded. ‘We found him in the top room, alone.’"
2. In the epigraph to chapter 59: "Above the final void I hang, friends behind, friends before. The feast I must drink clings to their faces, and the words I must speak spark in my mind. The old oaths will be spoken anew." you should be able to guess now who is the subject of this, and what event it's referencing. See the end of chapter 67.
If you enjoy such things, There are many more, but i'll leave them for you to find in the reread if you will do one one day, its more fun that way.

That being said, I wonder if Jasnah knows how to fix broken Soulcasters.
Lol, you mean the broken soulcaster device or the broken soulcaster practicer?

I take the fleet story more as a metaphor. Kaldin is running from the shattered plains (natanatan) to shinovar (book 5) [urithiru is in the middle approximately] and the storm always almost catch him, meaning he is almost succumb to depression and to internal broken parts of himself, and in shinovar is arc is at end.
I like the death rattle you chose for his 5th ideal very much! It has so many interesting interpretations. Maybe "the death is my life" means he understand that it can be right to kill to protect, or maybe the other way around, he understand that he need to stop making death and killing his way of life. The journey has ended can be interpreted accordingly, one option is that he become 5th ideal radiant and the other- he die [nooooooooo!!!]

Whoa, my topic has turned into a discussion of religion and social issues! I'm both honored and a little nervous
I forgot to warn you it can become so.. you dont need to be nervous though

Ok, last thought for now: I wonder if there will be flashbacks and who the pov character will be. Maybe Schallan again?
Mmm, I think its safe to tell you they are venli's and Eshonai's... but Venli chapters become better! They are more interesting and have more action.

Cool, so my question is, is it common for atheists to explain spiritual experiences as something that happens only in the person's head, without any outside influence
From my exprience, and I am from Israel so I know mostly about people here, in philosophical debates its very common. People from the street will just say "you feel that, I not, so its all right for you to believe and for me no to". and that's all.
Side carry is very fun and meaningful, enjoy it!

There was a discussion about the math part in Jasna argument, if you're interested in that:
As to talking about religion, I think its all right if youre respectful, but idk the formal rules

. I just don't understand the thing with this forum chasing Hoid (lol), though I liked the part where he says they wouldn't know what to do with him if they caught him. I hope they catch him now!
You had read the whole letter to Frost?
SpoilerI think that letter imply they are chasing him because they believe in non intervention and all he does in the books is intervention so they want to stop him.
Of course, there could be other interpretation, like maybe the forum is chasing Hoid because they want his signature on their leatherbounds..

Shalash knows when Jezien is killed, but this is pointed out to be an abnormal death, given it’s permanent. And he’s her father. Also, he’s the leader of the heralds. So there are potentially some reasons why she (and perhaps the other heralds) can sense his death suggesting that may be out of the ordinary
Here is the epigraph from RoW capter 79, these are kalak's words:
"Jezrien is gone. Despite being all the way out here in Lasting Integrity, I felt him being ripped away. The Oathpact was broken already, but the Connection remained. Each of us can sense the others, to an extent. And with further investigation, I know the truth of what happened to him. It felt like death at first, and I think that is what it ultimately became."
so, "each of us can sense the others, to an extent", and Kalak felt Jezrien capture, and conclude that he dies afterward.

That's cool, because right now I can't imagine how Kaladin's and Shallan's plotlines could come together
Minor spoiler, just about the timeline and expectations
SpoilerAfraid they will come together only in the second book, Words of Radiance, but they will be more connected to each other as the book goes on.

that was Rushur Kris, the artist and master artifabrian. When had he arrived? Who had invited him.
RoW prologue. Its probably him.

A couple things I have noticed when reading the transcripted prologue-
1. "The Stormfather could lie? "Restares," Gavilar whispered. "Is he...?"
Yᴇs. Hᴇ's ᴀ Hᴇʀᴀʟᴅ.
Gavilar felt cold, as if he were standing in the highstorm, ice seeping through his skin and seeking his heart. Those eyes... "What are you," Gavilar whispered, hoarse.
Tʜᴇ ʙɪɢɢᴇsᴛ ғᴏᴏʟ ᴏғ ᴛʜᴇᴍ ᴀʟʟ, the Stormfather said, ᴀɴᴅ ᴛʜᴇ ᴛʜɪɴɢ ᴛʜᴀᴛ ʜᴀs ᴍɪsᴄᴀʟᴄᴜʟᴀᴛᴇᴅ. Gᴏᴏᴅʙʏᴇ, Gᴀᴠɪʟᴀʀ. I ʜᴀᴠᴇ sᴇᴇɴ ᴀ ɢʟɪᴍᴘsᴇ ᴏғ ᴡʜᴀᴛ ɪs ᴄᴏᴍɪɴɢ, ᴀɴᴅ I ᴡɪʟʟ ɴᴏᴛ ᴘʀᴇᴠᴇɴᴛ ɪᴛ."
I think it imply that the stormfaker is one of the heralds, probably Ishar.
2. "No, no, no," Restares said, uncharacteristically firm. "That's not how you were supposed to do this. I wanted the honor of men to return; I wanted us to explore what made those Radiants so grand, before things went wrong." He ran his hand through his thinning hair. "Before I... I made them go wrong."
It sound like Kelek was responsible for the recreance.
3. "Aɴᴅ ᴛʜᴇɴ sʜᴇ ғᴇʟʟ. Sʜᴇ ᴡᴀs ᴛᴏᴏ sᴍᴀʟʟ ᴀ ʙᴇɪɴɢ, ɴᴏᴛ sᴛʀᴏɴɢ ᴇɴᴏᴜɢʜ ᴛᴏ ᴜᴘʜᴏʟᴅ ᴀɴ ᴇɴᴛɪʀᴇ ᴘᴇᴏᴘʟᴇ. Iᴛ ᴀʟʟ ᴄᴀᴍᴇ ᴄʀᴀsʜɪɴɢ ᴅᴏᴡɴ. Aɴᴅ sᴏ, sᴏᴍᴇ ʙʀᴀᴠᴇ ᴍᴇɴ ᴀɴᴅ ᴡᴏᴍᴇɴ, Rᴀᴅɪᴀɴᴛs, ᴅɪᴅ sᴏᴍᴇᴛʜɪɴɢ ᴛʜᴀᴛ ʜᴀᴅ ᴛᴏ ʙᴇ ᴅᴏɴᴇ: ᴛʀᴀᴘᴘɪɴɢ Mɪsʜʀᴀᴍ ɪɴ ᴀ ɢᴇᴍsᴛᴏɴᴇ ᴛᴏ ᴘʀᴇᴠᴇɴᴛ ʜᴇʀ ғʀᴏᴍ ᴅᴇsᴛʀᴏʏɪɴɢ ᴀʟʟ ᴏғ Rᴏsʜᴀʀ. Tʜᴇ sɪᴅᴇ ᴇғғᴇᴄᴛ ᴏғ ᴛʜᴀᴛ ᴇᴠᴇɴᴛ ᴄʀᴇᴀᴛᴇᴅ ᴛʜᴇ ᴘᴀʀsʜᴍᴇɴ"
the words of the stormfaker. If we believe him, mishram fail not because of the radiants. She fail on her own and was about to cause damage to all roshar so the radiants trap her. Maybe its implying she is the spren of roshar like someone suggested.
Also: "Ba-Ado-Mishram. Granter of forms. Their other god. The one who could rival him. The one we betrayed."
restares words. I think it curios, and implying she could rival odium! And why Kelek think about it as a betrayal?

What? If he had fled, I'd understand. But that is specifically what he did not.
Yes, but he is scared of social relationships, and he is doing all day things he dont want to. You're right he is brave in other things like confronting nightmares, but I mean social backbone.

Good theory! Always like something fresh, and its just fun to make theories!
As to your theory on the ideals. My understanding as of now of the oaths, is that they are MADE by honor and cultivation. Honor for the binding, the part of them that is law, and Cultivation for the progress- you achieve them one after another, as you grow as a person and align to these ideals.
Surgebinding at whole is of honor and cultivation, the vitality of them from cultivation and then Honor made them into laws of nature. So if I'm right, Odium isn't connected to surgebinding and Oaths, his is the infamous Voidbinding.
The Fused are probably using corrupted surgebinidng, and are still a mystery, how they work and why Odium didn't give them voidbinding.
Go ahead, and post your theories as they come! Don't be intimidated by anyone.
(My english isn't good either [I've learned english mostly from Sanderson books] so I hope I'm understandable)

Oh! Lol if you think about that, its definitely seem like cenn is the protagonist of the story on first read. Brandon's choice to introduce Kaladin through the eyes of another is very curious. As the book go on, it's become clear what's going on.
It's just so fun to read your comments @Amira! You're great. And go ahead, the book is definitely worth it. I read this book 4 times I think and it's a great exprience every time

Sp#4 -I'm super interested at the cosmere story as a whole. So if I need to pick only one, I will pick this, even if the story itself is less entertaining.
Sp#3- Yumi and Painter are great. Love stories about talented guys without a backbone.
Sp#1- the story itself won't win sp#2, but the aethers are just so interesting!
Sp#2- realy great story, love the exploration, but in the light of the other secret projects, this is my last.

This is obviously a reference to Ishar and his experiments, and possibly other experiments we don't know about yet. I'm glad to know we won't have to deal with physical spren monstrosities walking about in future Cosmere.
Imo, the sentence is about the people who come to the inn, who learned that Design specific body isn't real. Not the people of the cosmere who learned something about cognitive entities.. what made you to think it is connected to ishar experiments?

"It was, instead, about gloves"
I know its not the wittiest phrase, but its manage to make me smile broadly even before i read the explanation. Its remind me of Mat Cauthon "boots" from brando's Wot(maybe towers of midnight?) And i love it!
