    Thanks! I've been part of the Shard since August, but whatever. My favorite series is Stormlight, and my favorite spren is the storming Voidbringer cause why not

    Does this include magma, or lava, which is basically just liquid fire/earth?

    Personally, I would choose Allomancy, simply because you can become a Surgebinder without being Rosharan born, but you have to hail from Skadrial to be a Mistborn/Misting/Twinborn/Feruchumist. Then I'd simply Worldhop to Skadrial and bond with an Ashspren. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    There are almost definitely going to be some hidden Easter Eggs that you'll need to have read the other books to find, but you'll probably get the main gist of the story even without reading them. Personally, I'm rereading all of the Brandon Sanderson books before RoW comes out, but it's your own decision. P.S. @Vasherin, re-welcome to the Shard!

    All published books. This means no Aether of the Night, the weird version of Whitesand, but I have read the Way of Kings Prime.

    Maybe Skadrial. I feel like it's definitely one of the most technologically advanced worlds in the Cosmere.
