"Y-you're dead?" The girl's large brown eyes stared straight into Fox's soul. "So... you're a ghost, that only exists if I want you to?" Fox stared more deeply into the girl's eyes. She was absolutely gorgeous. "So wait, how do you know Winter?"
I'm not a ghost. The girl said, giggling yet again. And Winter, I made him.

Fox huffed, before turning to Yami. "Ok, Yami, I know that you're Yami," the girl grew more tangible, "but what are you? Are you a figment of my imagination?" The girl became translucent, almost, as if she wasn't even there.
What am I? The girl sighed, a light, small sigh laced with death. I'm dead. That's what, but I'll never rest. I'm Yami, queen of darkness. It's not as scary as it sounds. Now come, watch the show. When Winter comes back, it should get exciting quickly. Ooh look, another one showed up. @xinoehp512
Yami placed an arm around Fox's shoulder, looking into her eyes.
I'm only real if you want me to be.
2 minutes ago, xinoehp512 said:No, said Jared in an irritated tone. Her name is Abigail, and she has brown hair. Last time I checked, at least.
38 minutes ago, xinoehp512 said:"Abigail... brown hair." Suddenly Winter was right in front of Jared, his eyes glinting again. "I said don't waste my time. I've never even met anyone with a name like that, let alone kidnapped them. Now leave me, or die."

A spark of panic lighted in Fox, did Queen know? No, there would be no way. Wait, had Nath told her? Was that what he had been doing? No, no, there was no way she could have known. Couldn't she? Thisw as going to drive her insane. Relief began to resurface when Queen didn't get angry. Yes, she couldn't know, otherwise she would be yelling at Fox right now. Unless this was a trap... Fox would just have to trust Nath's judgement on this person. "Yes, let's..."
Fox looked back at the girl. "What do you mean? Does that mean if I leave you won't follow me? I mean, mentally of course. I mean, what are you?"
The unreal girl giggled again, the small laughter echoing in the landscape around, yet not there at all.
I'm Yami. And please stay for longer, we haven't even started yet!

You have my sister, said Jared. Give her back, and I let you live.

Nya fell, terror eclipsing her mind.
She closed her eyes, reaching out desperately for something, anything familiar.
All of a sudden, she found something.
With a slight flash of red and a soft pop, she appeared behind @Channelknight Fadran , @DramaQueen and @Scarletfox.
"Your sister? Red-haired, the one they call 'Fox'? Forgive me, but my master has claimed her." Winter said, his deep red eyes glinting as he absentmindedly scratched the stone wall behind him, boring long, shallow trenches into it.
"If that is the person you seek, then you will never reclaim her."

Jared's eyes glowed red as he harnessed the power of his Narrativium Cube.
Show me, he thought.
Before his eyes, a warping appeared- showing where Winter had used Narrativium to bend reality and travel. It had left a mark, and from it Jared could clearly see the path that had been taken.
Drawing on the power of Silence, he envisioned himself vanishing from the world- sending his soul down wherever that path would lead.
Reality warped once more as he followed on Winter's trail.
The trail stopped.. Winter stood, leaning against the wall of a deep, trash-covered alley in a city of brown and grey stone.
"Why are you following me?" he asked emotionlessly. "You have one chance to tell me. Make it quick, and please don't lie. Better hurry before I get bored and kill you."
Quote"I-I don't know, to both of those. Nath teleported me away from Winter before, but I think it almost killed him..." Well.... that, and something else almost killed him... Fox glanced at her feet for a moment, accidentally allowing the overwhelming guilt to surface for half a second, before recomposing herself and looking back at Queen and Fadran. "We should probably go, though, before Winter returns."
Oh, you wouldn't leave already, would you? I have so much to show you and so much to tell you. The unreal girl said, pouting.

This is taking place in a far away world, at Yami's castle which got pretty warped when Nath went rage-mode and melted everything
Nobody is talking to Jared, but Winter sensed him being followed so he told Yami he was gonna go deal with something
2 hours ago, DramaQueen said:"Fox!" Queen called out, releasing Fadran's hand.
Ooh, more people come to play with me? They'd better leave before Winter gets back, they don't look very fun to play with. Now come on, I want to show you my skeletons.
The nothingness took Fox's hand; there, but not. Cold, but nothing.
This unreal girl was a person who Fox could choose with; she never had to do what the girl said, she could choose if the girl was real or not, and the girl couldn't do anything to her unless she allowed it. *not a godmod, a truth*
The choice, any choice with this girl was hers.

"WAIT!" Fox yelled right as Winter was leaving. "Gah! I hate it when he does that!" She spun around as she heard something.... off. Something that did not seem quite... right. Giggling? Oh dear, it had to be another mind demon. It asked something. What was this? It didn't feel quite real, like a mind demon, yet it didn't feel completely false either... "storming mind demon," she muttered. For now, Fox would ignore this mind demon; it wasn't too annoying. Yet.
It didn't seem her message had gone through earlier to Nath, perhaps she would try again. She sat down, facing the sea. Fox closed her eyes, allowing the world to fade around her. She was not in a desolated gosh-forbidden place, but she was back, hugging Nath, telling him that she trusted him. That moment when she had shown great weakness. Storms, Fox was so dang weak. She had to go out and trust the first person she met. No, she trusted Nath for a reason. He had proven himself. He had tried, when others quit. He had cared for how she felt, even when he was on the brink of death. That was Nath. She reached out for him, Fox wanted to send a message to that Nath right there. Fox needed to send a message. Nath. I'm ok. She thought. Nath. I'm ok. She thought intensely, the words tangible, she knew them, she wanted them, she had them, they appeared in her head.... but... she didn't believe them.
Fox sighed. What did she believe? Nath, I will be ok! Nope. Nath, I'm alive. That, she believed. For the most part. Fox took another deep breathe in, and then out. She cleared her mind of all thoughts. Every time, though, it seemed that more and more would begin leaking back into her brain. Agh! GET OUT! She thought. Darn. Now her head was full of anger. Fox slowed her breathing and her heart rate, a handy trick she learned for when sneaking. She let everything filter away.... into abyss... before... NATH! I'M ALIVE! Fox screamed into her mind, letting it fill every nook and cranny of her brain, before focusing all of it onto that one ingot, that one part of her that never left. It had to be connected to Nath. She flooded that one bit with everything that she had, with all of the strength she had. Her eyes snapped open as her emotions and senses rushed back. The fatigue smacked into her like a belly flop off the high dive as Fox returned to reality.
Another giggle, and something was in front of her.
What's a mind demon? That sounds fun.
Something, perhaps a space-filling shadow placed an arm of unreality around her shoulder: it was cold, made of complete darkness. But it was also nonexistant. A face near hers, there, but not.
You are my new friend. When K' is gone, I'll have you to play with.
The thing--real, yet not--giggled again, letting go and watching its new 'friend'.

Winter materialized in a broken, twisted land, an empty sea to the right and scorched ground to the left, a blackened cliff in front and a glass beach down the hill. Gently setting down the fox, he turned and disappeared.
"I have--something to take care of." (Jared), the angel said, disappearing again. (Yo @xinoehp512 Winter uses R, the greater theory of Mindscape to travel.. you can still follow him, but he's not worldhopping,, if you already know that I apologize, but just makin sure everyone is knowledged)
There was something, a sound from ahead of the Fox; a girl? Giggling? Very creepy, just like the melted castle, just like the barren landscape around, where giant metal beasts roamed (each as big as the castle itself, or bigger)
You look fun. What are you called? asked the voice.

A tear slid down Fox's face. She knew that Nath had sacrificed much for her, but... dang, saying it out loud made it so much more real. "Thank you, Nath. You have done things... shown me things that I thought were not possible. Thank you." She hugged Nath once more, but this time it was not a hug to comfort him, or to gain support from him. It was a hug meant to show that she too cared for him. "I... I... trust you, Nath. I really do. It has been long, much too long, since I have trusted, truly trusted, anyone. Thank you."
This is getting boring.
Winter leaped off the side of the building, disappearing.
I feel like I've done this before.
The angel grabbed the red-haired girl by the back of her hoodie, taking off (and giving the Demon of Death a little complimentary wing-blow. He'd finish him later).
"It turns out, girl, that you are not as useless as I thought." He quietly said to the Fox as they faded into another realm.

There; the girl from earlier. She would be the best fit, and perhaps I will exact some payment on the demon of death.
Winter sat down, letting his legs fall over the side of the flying building.
I suppose I'll watch them for a while longer. This drama is entertainment at it's finest, although I can't find any joy in watching.
Winter sighed, watching the red haired girl down below.
Perfect match.

"I'll kill them all."
Yami still didn't look at Winter.
Winter followed her gaze, seeing a flat-topped black marble gravestone.
"Winter, I know that grave."
The angel was silent.
"Whose is it?"
Yami didn't answer him, just kept staring at the grave.
"Yami, do I have your permission to proceed?"
The girl sighed, finally looking into Winter's eyes.
"I like it better this way."
She stood up from the broken, deformed balcony, brushing her hand along the row of blackened skeletons--these walls held things that had been forgotten for millennia.
"Yes, Winter. You have permission, but bring one back to me. I want someone to play with."
She smiled, patting Winter on the head, then she disappeared down the melted hole of the tower entrance.
Winter leapt into the air, his wings catching the moon and reflecting off of the landscape around: five giant, rusted beasts were just standing, each as large as a mountain. They had been awoken from their century-long slumber. The landscape was barren and scorched, the beaches black glass.
Death radiated from every corner of the vale.
It was beautiful.

Winter watches the burning landscape, no emotion in his eyes.
This was something he couldn't fix.
Korin stood, shouting as his clothing caught fire.
Don't cry, Yami. It is only a castle.
No, no, you don't understand! It's not just a castle. That was my past. I'm nothing now.
Glancing one last time at the man, burning in agony, Winter disappeared.
Humanity is a sick thing.

Winter’s words struck Fox’s heart. What was he saying? She must have misheard him. “Winter, what did you just say?”
All Winter gave her was a shallow stare, then he looked back to Nath.
"I will give you ten seconds to leave."

Just now, Scarletfox said:
Fox looked into Winter’s eyes, searching for any ounce of recognition from him. “Winter, you brought me here, when you... saved me.” Was she sure that was what had happened? And what had he done to make Nath so angry? Who had Winter killed? Surely it had been to protect another poor soul... right?
"Brought you here?"
The angel scoffed.
"Why would I bring a weak, useless thing like you to this hallowed place?"

I clutch my side agony burning me from the inside out. My eyes narrow as I see Winter approach. I ignore his question. My eyes go wide when I see the dagger. Her dagger. My suppressed rage erupts within me. The winds awaken, whip the trees, while I begin to glow brightly. Fire grants me strength as I toss aside my pain. A gust lifts the knife from the ground and carries it to my hands. I grab it and clench the hilt so tightly that it seems as though it will be split in two. He will die this day!! The sky becomes black as the endless void at my command. Thunder shatters the air at my call. Spears of lightning ignite the skies with eerie light. The winds grow in intensity. Mortal ears would begin to pop beneath the might of the storm. Funnel clouds form. A light rain begin to fall. "What did you do to her Winter?" My voice cuts the air exposing the innards and bones of nature. I put my free hand on Fox's shoulder.
"The woman? I killed her. Now answer my question or you shall suffer the same fate."
Korin groans and rolls over, rubbing the back of his head.
"Winter? What.."
He silenced at a glance from the angel.
"Answer me."

"Fox, wait.."
A figure stumbled into the Fox's line of sight. It was Korin.
"Fox, don't..."
He cut off, falling forward.
Winter stood behind him.
"How did you all find this place?" the angel uninterestedly asked (if that's possible), tossing a dagger to the ground--Cir's dagger.

Circestran grimaces as the electrified fists smash into her armor. The armor explodes as the light fails. Exposed Circestran dodges back. Her blood flows freely as his wings score several hits. She does not scream, but she begins to slow. Nath's emotions flow through her and give her pause. For just a moment she is frozen a distant look in her eyes.
The angel's silvery wings opened and he was in front of her, his hand through her heart.
"You felt love once. I can see it. I can feel something, too.. emotion? That is a concept I've never understood, at least not in this life."
He paused, a distant look in his own eyes.
Then he ended her.

Circestran grimaces and drops the shattered swords. Two long daggers appear in her grip. She slashes out at her enemies wrists while fighting against the blinding sun rays. With nothing more than a thought heavy clouds appear and block out the sun. The skies burst open and Icy rain begins to fall. Thunder booms. With a burst of speed Circestran ducks under his guard and slashes them across his throat. With a roar she calls down a spear of lightning which strikes Winter head on. With each slash of the knives another bolt falls.
"Well that's not very nice."
The light between his wings fade, and he lifts his wings to the heavens--lightning repeatedly strikes them, and they begin to glow with electricity.
Touching them to his hands, they also begin to glow and crackle.
Leaning back, the angle barely dodged Cir's thrusts, bringing up his electrified fist into her stomach, then spinning; taking off and slashing his wings toward her.

She spins away from the feathers, but she is a moment too slow. The edges catch her armor and create a rend in it. In her shock she is caught by the feathers again and a laceration appears in her flesh. Emerald drops fall from the would. Circestran grits her teeth as she ducks under the wings and lunges forward with her blades out.
"You see," said Winter, catching her blades and shattering them with a squeeze. "I was actually found in a stream, not a pit."
The angel's wings turned clear again, catching the sunlight and magnifying it at Cir--not heat, but the pure essence of light fills the space between them.

Circestran spins her blades slashing two parallel lines through the air. With unnatural speed she stabs both blades forward. She sends a frigid wave of ice up the blades. "You will return to whatever pit you came from." Flames ignite the air as she releases a wall of pure power into Winter.
The angel folds his wings in front of him, blocking the strikes and flames, then opening them and spinning, the bladelike feathers dangerously arcing towards Cir.

I can barely look at her as she speaks. My body is wracked with pangs of agony and sorrow which rattles my very soul to its core. Why doesn't she hate me? She should hate me. How can she act as though I did not lie to her? I feel her wipe away my tears and my heart clenches. MY every cell cries out creating a song and tapestry which echoes through the air. I finally gather the smallest modicum of strength and direct my eyes to hers. "Why don't you hate me? After all that you have heard how can you do anything other than despise me? Please hate me its what I deserve." My head spins all of my strength quickly draining away.
Circestran curses as Winter disappears. Before she can follow she is overwhelmed by her former colleagues from behind the door strike. Two giant birds grab her. She lashes out sheering through their claws like paper. Blood splatters on her golden armor. She roars and space bends around her. Her mind reaches for Winter and she is pulled through realities as though she is on the end of rope. Her body bursts through the darkness and appears behind Winter on the roof of some castle. A rush of agony and sadness assaults her. Despite her mental defenses she is forced back a step. Nath what is happening to you? "Winter we are not done. Today you die." She bares her fangs and brings her blades up to high and low guard. The metal gleams as though light runs through the veins of metal.
"Yami, please step inside. I do not know what this woman wants, but she has bothered me enough today."
He pauses, as if listening to something.
"Then I apologize, but you cannot help me in this fight."
Winter seems to gently grab something, placing it on a balcony of a tower above--a shadow? A tear in reality? But whatever he grabbed had no meaning; so it was pointless to care. He turns, facing Cir from the sky, his silver wings catching--no, magnifying the light of the sun above. They seem clear for just a moment, then gold, then silver again.
His bright, yet deep red eyes shone.
"I will kill you now."
Then he was gone.
There was a slight brush of air from behind Cir, and a whisper seemed to taunt her wordlessly in her mind.
Behind you.
