  1. This is where things start to get fun. I forgot to mention it, but you'll start with 50 power.
  2. Ah, how I miss an hour ago when I knew what was going on. Rakushta had followed this strange group wherever they went. He had silently watched and followed the whole way- not offering help, as they never seemed to need help. In fact, these people could probably kill him on a whim, if they wished. It was just so much. So many relationships, so many conflicts, so many powers- he had walked into some crazy situations, but none as dense as this. Ah well. He would learn eventually.
  3. Wow, I look away for a couple of hours and there's three pages, three PMs and who knows what else. Anyway, @Ookla the Steampunked, @Ookla The Female Chicken, and @Ookla the Ethereal, can I be added to the PM's? Not sure if I'm going to participate, but I'd like to follow anyway.
  4. It ends when people lose interest and stop posting and the thread dies. ======================================================= "That mountain certainly wasn't there before." says the tall one. The two travelers stand on the highest tower of the Ashen's keep- they were a strange people, with strange hair and stranger powers. They certainly weren't of the Drifter. "I think we would of noticed if there was a huge mountain there before." "Yeah." ... "Wanna go there? "Absolutely." ======================================================= New turn! @Channelknight Fadran: 18, 12 @HoidWasTaken: 16, 15 @Chasmgoat: 17, 16 @Matrim's Dice: 13, 18 @Somebody from Sel: 17, 17 @Omi the Counselor: 16, 21 @eltruT: 15, 13
  5. The moment you fire your first shot, a horrible scream rises over the skyline. It's an animalistic, bloodthirsty thing, and as it washes over the city another begins- and another, and another until the whole city is awash in it's horrible sound. "That can't be good..."

He just sighs, and begins to walk towards the dead beast when... He jumps back from the machine before composing himself and saying "Join the club- we're all lost as well. Though your entrance was a little more... dramatic than ours."
  7. Jacob just looked on in horror. He didn't know what he could do... he didn't know how he summoned that fireball or if he could even do anything else, so he just watched, powerless.
  8. Ok, enough Ookla for me

You made it this far. :)

  9. The head disappears behind the dead greenhouse on top of the building. "What did you see?" asks Vaavu.
  10. Nothing, except you notice, far off, on top of a building, a small moving black dot. Zooming in, you can clearly see the head of... something. It seems twisted and warped and even blurry, despite the fact that the building around it is crystal clear to your eyes. "Excellent!" says Vaavu. Looking around, he remarks "Yes, yes- this seems very well made- I can't see any visual errors, even subtle ones that can get overlooked." He finds a loose corner of the road and slams his robotic foot down on it, breaking it off and kicking up a small cloud of dust. "You, sniper- Melvin, your name was?" He picks up the piece of road and hands it to him. "Use your eyes, rub off some of the road and tell me how small the smallest particles that come off are."
  11. @Ookla the Sprinkle @Vapor @Ookla the Channelknight @Somebody from Sel As you all sit down into the machines and the android plugs himself in, the human, with an emotionless face, flips a switch, and nearly immediately, the world goes pitch black. When the world returns, it takes a moment for your sight to return, but even before then you can feel the warm, rough feeling of asphalt. You're laying prone on the ground, and as you open your eyes you can see in front of you a great city of metal sprawling out. But as you look closer, something is wrong. The city is in ruins- tall buildings seem to have their tops falling off, and you can see many have collapsed, piles of rubble just sitting between the other buildings. Despite this city seeming old and ancient, you can't see a single living thing in sight. No plants, no animals, nothing...
  12. "I doubt any of us were just carrying rope randomly when we got transported here."
  13. "Well, we can't reach you! I think you have to figure it out on your own!"
  14. "Uhh... how!?" Jacob calls up.

Well, that's a problem. "Well, do we run or fight this huge monstrosity?"
  16. People yet to do their turns: @Ookla's Dice @eltruT @Chasmgoat, yes, but I have no idea how to draw that so just pretend it's there. Map: Continuing the traveler's story next time.
  17. Seeing the crab fly into the chasm, Jacob stares in amazement. Then, he simply shakes his head and asks "Is everyone okay?"
  18. "No. It'll be just a quick fade to darkness then you'll be in. The needle is to paralyze you so you don't try to move around while you're in. After that, however... I don't know." The android continues to pace.
  19. @Condensation @Bearer of all agonies @Vapor @Channelknight Fadran @Somebody from Sel ==================================================== The null swirls outside as you float in intergalactic space, a wall of stars consisting of the Milky Way to one side and the void of intergalactic space to the other. However, between you and the infinite sea of nothing is one of the biggest megastructures you have ever seen- millions of kilometers of metal and electronics encasing a once-bright star. Inside your small spaceship, you sit in a room with five ominous looking machines, each with a cranial interface, a needle and some other unidentified machinery. You will be entering these machines shortly. However, for now, you sit in some uncomfortable chairs across from singular human, and on the other side of the room an Ăsydnvivfn-shaped android paced back and forth across the room. "Welcome," the human says. "I am Bysis. You, of course, know why you are here. So tell me, do you have any questions before you begin your mission?"

"Stop joking around. People are dying, and now we won't know why."

  23. Yes. Well, I was intending on having to wait for next game, but I guess you can drop in. Submit a god.
