Well darn! We almost had 'em. Jk haha. Fun first game! I was tragically wiped off the map too early. Illwei was my next hit, and then Maill, if I stayed on my course of action. O7

Mmmmm yikes. I could be jumping the gun here but I don’t think this vote manip makes Maill look good. Quinn could’ve taken that vote off herself, since we now know she’s a soother. Looks like two soothing actions? Or a rioter that didn’t vote. Correct me if I’m wrong pls.

Well I did my best to phrase mine well . I think Maill being exed would be good info, and I don’t think Ash is as suspicious as a lot of people seem to think. And I mean, your reasoning for voting for Ash seems to be “other people have good reasoning” too hehe.

People didn't normally stare in Fallion's Tears. There was a sort of politeness about the town. You minded your business, were friendly to your neighbor. The sleepy little town sat far enough west that the strife of the capital didn't seem to reach it. It was how Sara had flown under the radar for so many years. Things were different now. People stared. Stared for too long. Or they looked away quickly, like you didn't see them looking. People didn't thank you for a drink anymore. Eyes did the talking now. Sara had always been bad at reading eyes. She liked it when people talked. She understood them better. Now they spoke with facial expressions she couldn't read. Nothing made sense. It's not like it ever did. Sara had always been odd. It was only now that people were beginning to take notice. -0- Okay, I got here to collect my thoughts and realized I didn't have many. I agree with a lot of what's being said about Maill. I think the info we could get from their exe would be valuable, but I'm not entirely sure of my read on them. I'm thinking mild elim, following the events of the pm group. I wouldn't say I was involved, but I was informed of the group and of Tani being a mistborn from a couple different parties involved in the pm group and also Illwei. So far, I wouldn't say I have too many suspicions of Illwei, based on how conversations with her went concerning her possible impending mistborn death. I think at least one person in the pm group is probably an elim, and so far my suspicions rest highest on Maill and Quinn, but y'all other two aren't off the hook lol. I don't want to completely focus on the pm group, but that's really where all my suspicions lie haha. I really don't suspect Ash much, because he was pretty clear that he didn't want Striker to die. Though maybe that was a cover up. Idk lol. Anyway, for now, Maill. Like always this might change as new info comes out. I wanted to get some thoughts out now though.

Glad I could be of service. Apologies for lack of contribution to the thread today. Quite a bit of homework still left to do, but I'm making my way through it. I'll hopefully have some thoughts later tonight.

You should've talked to him more. She knew. Of course she knew that. She'd felt that about every death in this town. Should've listened better, talked to them more, learned about their lives. But for some reason it hit harder for Variel. The newcomer. He hadn't been here long, an outsider to everyone unless he sat in the tavern, chattering away by the hearth, telling stories. Sara had listened while she served their drinks, wondering where he got all those stories. She'd been like him once, the newcomer to town, young and naïve. Though, apparently, Variel had had more confidence in his ability to fit in. Well, rather, comfortably stand out. Variel definitely had not fit in. Maybe... instead of trying to act like everyone else, she should try to be more like him. Comfortable in her... uniqueness, for lack of a better term. She'd always been a bit odd. Sara put on her best smile for the two patrons at the counter. "Would you like to hear a story?"

Hi! Voted striker based on a PM conversation we had. His reasoning why I should trust him basically boiled down to “would I be this confident as an elim?” And well, knowing him, yeah lol. Other PM stuff too, but irrelevant now because it was just my suspicions, which were incorrect. He also quickly jumped on voting for Tani with almost no reasoning, claiming that Tani was playing up their newness but not once mentioning me, another new player, also asking questions and stating she is new.

She tapped the counter nervously, beneath the rim where the groove rested, formed by her tapping over so many years. She'd found the motion helped her focus. You own this place now. The sun woke Sara up far earlier than she wished. Peaking through curtains half-drawn, hitting her eyes at just the right angle. Bed too hard, clothes too tight. If she had to talk to one person today, it would be her death. A little dramatic there, you think? She hushed her thoughts. Creaking joints matched the creaking floors as she shuffled to change. Getting old at 27? She felt old, though she could imagine her uncle laughing at that thought now. "You're barely out of your childhood!" He would say. What would today bring? Another death? A peak out the window showed a man already waiting for the tavern doors to open. It couldn't be later than noon. Maybe she'd take a drink or two tonight, just to get her through another long, late night of pretending like she knew how to talk to people. Traumatized people. What's happening to our town? -0- Oooooo... thoughts. Finally have some things to say. Striker and Illwei yes. I'm still uncertain where the suspicion on Reading came from. I may be stupid. For the most part, though, I'm reading Illwei mild village. What's making me suspicious is her defending Striker, who I am suspicious of. Oh and also the random vote on Tani that I don't think ever got explained? Nevermind, scratch the mild village. No idea what to think about Illwei. General lack of concrete info in PMs, and points easy to fake or defend from Striker. Also, he jumped right on voting for Tani after Illwei did, blaming it on emphasizing being new. Hello? I've done the same thing! I can say at least for myself it's not me being like "oh look at me, I don't know anything and am harmless," but actually not knowing how things work around here. I know of at least two people that can say I've asked them basic questions about game slang in PMs. While, unlike Tani, I haven't played games like this before (unless you count the deck of cards version of Mafia I guess), but they could easily just be confused even after having played games elsewhere. Interesting that that point would be made specifically about Tani, and not me, when we're in virtually the same boat. Anyway, old points. Nonetheless: Striker. Oof, this feels bad. Subject to change based on new discussion! Finally got all my work done, so I'm hopefully here for the night. As of right now, though, this is my best vote. (Sorry <3)

Same here lol. Originally sorta agreed with Mat's point of switching 'em bc I thought it'd be funny if Kas pulled a fast one and lied about how they died. Didn't catch that in the rules XD All I remember about Ventyl is ppl going "oh yeah he might be village, but he could also be doing [complicated reverse psychology trick]." XD No idea what to think about this. Will probably have more thoughts when I'm not typing in the middle of class oop-

The fire in the hearth didn't match the haunted gaze in the eyes of Sara's patrons. Stronger drinks ordered tonight. More coins in her pocket. Didn't feel worth it. She'd had her suspicions, sure, but... Lord Ruler. She was glad she'd slept through the violence. Probably would've found herself on the other side of the counter, pourin' her own drinks to match the others'. Those words rang in her head again... Distant enough to not get involved. But shouldn't she get involved? Two murders and a death from paranoia. When would the knife be at her back? She'd listened. For so long she'd listened. She knew everyone in this town, heard their drunken secrets spilled over stale ale and dying embers. Never had she suspected a murderer among them. Perhaps... she needed to focus less on listening. Sara refilled a lone man's pint. "Doin' alright?" She didn't charge a coin for it. -0- Okay, there's a couple different possibilities here, but I'm leaning toward either 1 soother and 1 rioter or 2 soothers and 1 rioter. 3 soothers is also a possibility, but what makes me think 1 soother 1 rioter is Kas clarifying that a rioter can change a vote to a no-vote, and it would cancel their own. So there's a chance a rioter canceled a vote and canceled their own. If I'm reading the rules wrong though pls tell me lol. I guess there's also the possibility of 4 soothers and 1 rioter, if we're just mathing it. Wouldn't that be wild?
