  1. I see two big problems in relationship Kaladin-Shallan. First, Helaran. Kal killed Shalans brother. This isnt the think, what can be easly forgiven and definitly cannot be forgotten. Kaladin also hide the truth about it. Second, Spren. Bonded spren reflects some parts of Radiants personality. And their spren dont like each other. And they spend all the time with them, this has to be impactfull. I see Kaladin-Shallan as close friends who can understand and support each other, but are not romanticly involved. I ship Kaladin+Vivienna. This will be fun, because she was somthing like LightEyed in home.
  2. Is few evidences for that. 1. Ettmetal. This is Harmonium, Sazedum, you name it, Godmetal of Harmony. We know that on Scadrial earlier Godmetals apear only close to the maching Shardpool, what was maching Perpedicularity. Ettmetal is unknown to Northen Scadrians, but is literaly base technology fo Southerns. 2. Yiatil is descendent of Southern Scadrians. This mean, population of them lives in Silverlight. They have to go there somehow, but before Catacendre they dont have possibility - both Shardpools were in the North. So only other possibility is they have Shardpool in the South. Or they can do some wierd staff with Nicrosil, Aluminum and Duralumin. But we know that one Shard can have more than one Shardpool: WoB And it fits Harmony very well to have TWO Shardpools, one in North and one in South. We can speculate that second Harmonium Shardpool can be somewhere in the Roughs.
  3. Is also Ehe, simply giant flamethrower. Can be very usefull.
  4. So, Truthwatcher. Yeah, fits very well.
  5. Yep, in open combat Radiant have better chances, but Mistborn can still win. Still Mistborn lack some abilities like healing. To mach Radiant, Mistborn probably want like 3 Feruchemical powers - gold, steel, iron. So spikes or medalions. I think Elantrian is stronger. In fact, Elantrian is theorethicly the strongest of all. With enough knowledge and practice with Aons Elantrian can do practicly anything, but need to overcome geographical issues.
  6. Something with weight 3 kg/ 6pd will need to be thrown with speed around 95 m/s (316 fps) or 27 km/h (17mph) to have the same kinetic energy as 0.50 BMG. Probably Parshendi shoot much faster, but 3kg is quite large projectile. To have the same energy with coin with 9g mass (standard 2 Euro coin is 8,5g) coinshot need to shot with speed 1732 m/s (5773 fps) or 481 km/h (300 mph). Unfortunately, We dont really know energy of pushing-pulling, we know only is mass-related, but with duralumin this seems possible. So yes, coins can damage Shardplate, especialy if Mistborn will concentrate fire on one spot, what skilled Mistborn is of course capable of. Mistborn can also use something other than coins, something bigger. And overcoming Stormlight will be easier than you think, if mistborn will be close. Dont forget about chromium. BTW, this is interesting question. How will Shards behave touched by Leecher?
  7. I was thinking we are consider just User+Investiture. Shardbows are theoreticly possible, but we dont know how to make projectiles. But if you are talking about Shardbearers Bow, why Mistborn cannot have a gun? Few large caliber bullets and he dont have Shardplate but Shardpieces. Weve seen Shardplates shattered by large slings. Anyway, we have 10 Radiant Orders, and any of them will have different chances. The best chances of course will have Windrunners and Skybreakers, due to mobility and range - they have Gravity Surge. Windrunners can also use adhesion and something to tank coins. Skybreakers can try destroy coins with Division Surge. We still dont know can Division be used from distance. Next will be probably Lightweavers, with camuflage and soulcasting they can dodge everything, can also close distance. One disadvantage will be fact, they cant fly, but light and sound can be used as ranged attack. Probably here will be also Elsecallers and Willshapers, with their Transportation Surge. Soulcasting is less usefull, because cannot be far away and cannot be used directly against Mistborn, because he is heavily Invested. They can try trapt Mistborn with soulcasting or Cohesion, but it will be difficult. Next probably will be Truthwatcher, because of Ilumination powers, but they are still not very mobile. If Division can be used from distance, here will be also Dustbringers. Or even higer. If not, they will be lower. And on the bottom we have Stonewards, Edgedancers and Bondsmiths. They lack mobility and ranged attackss possibility. Mistborn will be able to dodge them and shot, untill they burn all Stormlight. This is the thing. Allomancy is less powerfull overall, but is also more efficient than Stormlight. Mistborn need realy small amount of metals to keep going, so can have much larger reserves of them than Radiant. Can also relativly easy cut off Radiants Investiture bateries - gemstones, while Radiant cannot do this as easly (because Mistborn can simply have really large amount of metals in stomach). Sormlight also have tendency to leak, and metals havent. So this is it. All Mistborn have to do is outlast Radiant.
  8. But Skybreaker can do the same. This is Gravitation Surge, they both have it. Difference is, skybreaker can make those rocks explode, if he wants to. So during this shotout Skybreaker will have better chances, becouse 1. Can destroy upcomming fire. Windruuner have to have something to atract projectiles with, like shield. 2. Can attack larger areas.
  9. So 1,06 will be not exact number, if we consider Vorin Foot has 10 inches, not 12. So: Kaladin is 6'4'' in vorin measurment, but this will be 64 inches. He also is 6'8'' in imperial system, but this is 80 inches. This mean Kaladin is 203 cm tall in metric (!). Standard inch is 2,54 cm, but consider this change, vorin inch will be 3,17 cm. So Vorin inch 1,25x standard inch, but vorin foot is just 1,05x standard foot.
  10. We dont know this for sure. In fact, we thought touching is needet for Transformation, but Jasnah proove otherwise. We also have WoB that any Radiant soulcaster will be able to do that. In fact, i think using Division from the distance should be possible, otherwise Dustbringers will not be able to work as Artilery, what we know they did. Its many, many ways to use Division as advantage. Throw rokcs with Grawitation and make them explode. Create dust around opponent and ignite it, efectivly blind him. Lightning is also possibility. In 1v1 and small skirmishes, Windrunner will be one of the deadliest, but on larger scale, his destructive power isnt on the same level as other orders. For Example, Ellescaller or Lightweaver with enough knowledge will be able to create Nuke.
  11. @R J You dont have in English phones close enough to "zh" (what is also conversion like sh - in polish "sh"="sz", "tsh"=cz", and "zh" will be rz or ż). If you want to hear, go to Google Translate, set polish (polski) and enter "Brzydal", and change l to k (because meaning is the same, but Brzydak is not in database. Is more unoficial)
  12. I think Steel, Zinc or Electrum. Steel seems to be most practical.
  13. We can capture as many Fused as we can, bring them all to one point and kill all of them one by one with Nightblood. All we need is some very strong mentaly executioner.
  14. We have in Urithiru one large piece of aluminum. And its really easy to see its antimagical propreties. Yep, Nightblood sheeth. Szeth also saw it in action, Fused once blocked Nightblood with it. So all we need is to Shallan meet Szeth (what can happen really easly, because he is bodyguard of Dalinar and she will be Dalinars dauther-in-law), look at Nightblood and connect this metal with plates she once seen in Kholinar. If she connects it also to her necless (and she probably do, she cannot forget this little jewellry), and voila, we have Radiant soulcaster with knowledghe about aluminum. And aluminum can be really important in this war.
  15. Lightweaving is the power of waveforms. Truthwacher should be able to use this, to help his Regrowth powers: Use X-ray and ultrasounds to see inside someones body. Use ultraviolet to disinfection.
  16. @R J Thisgive us also much more possibilitis. Lightweaving is not only electromagnetic waves manipulation, is also sound waves manipulation. They can manipulate infrared and burn people from distance. They can manipulate microwaves and boil people from inside. They can also manipulate ultraviolet and X-rays (but this will be more usefull fo Truthwatchers) They can also manipulate soundwaves - make enemy temporarily deaf or even shatter things with high-frequency sounds. Plus lasers or gamma-radiation.
  17. We know Tai-Na are greatshels. But this is not common knowledge. In fact, the whole Roshar thinks, that they are just islands. Reshi tell/show outlanders nature of islands only, if they really trust them. Secret is the best protection for these creatures, as well as fact they are part of religion. I doubht also that one maniac with shardblade will be able to kill Tai-Na. Their shell can be too thick, and they have many defenders.
  18. Metalic Arts, of course. Most specificly, Feruchemy.
  19. Im Pole, so i speak polish. I read only translated books, so i have to check many things on Coppermind, because in many cases i don know original names I dont really know. I like all the main characters. Wax, Wayne, Steris, Marasi, MeLaan, everyone.
  20. Hi! Im Sanderson fan few years, I dont remember how many, and fantasy fan in general. I love Cosmere and theories from it, i didnt read only White Sand (but i have brief knowledge about it), my favorite is 2Era Scadrial. And Sorry, English is not my native language, so its possible it can be wierd. I dont have duraluminmind.
  21. https://wob.coppermind.net/events/385/#e12811 So we have something, but not nececcerly helpfull..
  22. In topic about theories, @Use the Falchion posted: And this make me think: Its right! Larkins feed on Stormlight, Investiture make them bigger. It is possible, that they are baby Laceryn, but even if not, feeding them with enough of stormlight should make them big enough to ride on their backs. We know about two of them for sure, one belongs to Rysn, one to Nale. If they are different sexes (if, of course, larkins have sexes), so will be possible to regrowth Larkin population, now when we know, they need Stormlight. In addition, domesticated larkins with their Stormlight Absorption ability, will be very usefull against Fused and Power Forms. Will make them simply powerless. Maybe - this is theory - adult Larkin, Laceryn, will be able to not only drain Stormlight, but also emit/share Stormlight. So if they will be able to emit Stormlight, they will be natural allies to Radiants, because can serve as mobile Stormlight Bateries, and Radiant will not need have Gemstones, because his mount will be basicly giant Gemstone. But why i think they will be related to Dustbringers? We have 3 direct military oriented Orders. Windrunners, Dustbringers, Stonewards. We can count also Edgedancers, but they are more scouts, support and duelists than soldiers, and Skybreakers, but they are more like police. From those 3 Orders: Windrunners dont need animal mount, because they can fly (fall). They also are more focused on fighting in teams. Stonewards dont need animal mount, because they are more focused on defense. Their powers, of course, can be used offensivly, but the whole philosophy of this Order can be doscribed with one word: STAND! Dustbringers, on the other hand, are clearly offensive Order. Their powers are for attack, their philosophy also is also agresive. Their main goal "I will seek self-mastery" is also focused on individual skills, not on team. But as clearly offensive Order they lack mobility to do so. Flying mount-monster will be ideal for them, they will be able to keep up with Windrunners, strike fast and strong, also every one member of strike team will be able to fight alone (with mount) with destructive power. They also have Surge of Abrasion, and this will be great help for flying creature. The relation with mount will be also good indication of fulfilling the main goal of Order. Thi Theory also have good synergy with other Theory, about Rysn becoming Dustbringer. What do you think?
  23. Yep, ive thinking the same. Main Illumination power of Truthwatcher will be see people and things far away asn ability to show this to others. And Radiant Quiz can partialy confirm this, because there the main goal of Truthwatchers is "I will seek truth" - and what is better in this than ability to see almost everything?
  24. Yep, and maybe they have only enough for this.
