  1. "It sounds similar to elvish," says Gal, baffled, "but not quiet the same. I think he said something about invitations? And maybe about killing a beast?"
  2. Hoblim gets out of the bathroom, completely changed. "Oh, don't mind that." He says. "It was part of the point. You do understand the steel alphabet characters, right? I find it interesting." He stops to consider. "Though, of course, I knew you would. I still understand the Hebrew characters. Maybe I should try and write something in Hebrew or English, then something in the steel alphabet. I wonder which one I'd actually be able to do."
  3. While Daryen changed, Hoblim got a nylon case out of his bag and pulled two A4 pages out of it, and now he sat, looking at them. He lifted his eyes from them when Daryen came out. "Oh, thanks." He said, taking his newly bought cheap clothes and rising up. "Would you mind taking a look at these papers?" He asked, while going to the bathroom to change. "Tell me what you understand when I get out."
  4. I don't really like any kind of wine. Only in the last three years I've made myself drink some on Purim, and in Passover I drink grape juice. Two new haggadas? Interesting. I really don't know how to mentally get ready for Passover. TPBM doesn't regret any of the Jewish references made here, and will keep doing them even though there are some gentiles around, too.
  5. What is a Knight Radiant? TPBM agrees that the probability of someone around here not knowing what a Knight Radiant is is too low to take into consideration, and also agrees that it might be more fun to be a Fullborn.
  6. Hoblim looks confused and a little surprised. "There are more people? I thought... Well, I kinda wanted... Oh, never mind." He turns to AmazingGoob. "You go first. I need to think a little." He puts his bag on the floor, but then seems to remember something. "You never told me your real name. I think I told you mine."
  7. "Well, there are some temples built on such points, I think. And generally, if you hear of an oracle it'll usually be around such an opening. I will come to help you with that - I have my own reasons to try and contact a Spiritual entity." Gal follows Talnic while speaking.
  8. Hoblim goes to the second floor, saying: "I'll take room 4."
  9. Wait a minute... You made up a bunch of cryptic prophecies while I wasn't looking?! Jokes aside, there will be a time for those... And I think Salad might enjoy this thread.
  10. "I don't remember how the SpR Realm's gateways work." Said Gal, opening one of the notebooks he brought and flipping through it. " Let's see... You already have the connection, but we want to open it from both sides, right? So... Aha!" He stops flipping and turns the notebook around, showing Talnic it's content. "You see, it says here that for some unknown reasons, the Spiritual Realm is timeless but still has a dimension of space, unlike the Ideas Realm. So, all we need to do is to find the right place to contact this entity, since time doesn't matters! That's a relief. You won't believe how annoying is that, to have to wait to the right moment, and then, it f you miss it..." He shook his head. "Well, I don't know where is the nearest spiritual gate, so we'll have to see about that. Maybe there's a list in a book in the library..."
  11. So, I already decided to try and post my musings/ramblings on some topics here. This is something I wrote during last year, about time travel. I might need to edit it a bit more, and half of it is work in progress, but there it is. It was written for a video I never made, and was supposed to be accompanied by a presentation, but that didn't happen, so you'll have to use your imagination.

Warning: this essay has many spoilers in it. The warnings are there, so you should see which book are spoiled by it.

    And now, here it is.

    Thank you for reading!

  12. ... Said Trutharchivist from behind the fourth wall, forgetting that Velia can't hear him. When he recalls that, though, he smacks his hand into his forehead, frustrated. "It always happens to me with books," he mumbles, "and now, apparently, with RPs. Fictional characters. Why can't they do things right, for once?" BTW, Random, do you want to join our Discord server? I don't remember where the link is, but I might be able to help. We have there a non-canon previously-fruit RP.
  13. "... In theory. In practice, you are probably under the influence of an unknown entity. If the prophecy started when you still followed the Satheth, it might be an entity connected to this religion, though if they don't have some doctrine about prophecies it's probably not the case. You have a Connection, anyway, and we probably should try to use it to contact your entity." Gal stops. He seems to lose some of reluctance, and slowly starts to show real interest in the topic.
  14. I completely agree with the MCTF meme. I don't know about yours, though it's relateable, and... well, I technically need to see all of the other avatars on the Shard before I judge, but I won't argue.
  15. Hello! I probably can't answer your problem here, but I find that sometimes just deciding to do something - ignoring all the parts in your mind that tell you not to do it or to delay - can work, sometimes. Not exactly a motivation, but... And if you want to ask everyone questions, you can try making an answer me anything thread. It didn't really work for me, but it might be worth a try. So, a question: are there non-personal questions that you'll refuse to answer?
  16. "Hmm... Sometimes people are picked without worshipping the entity that picked them. We don't yet know much of the SpR, so I don't know what entity that might be. Of course, there might be other explanations to this..."
