I will now respond to mat's reads! (even if no one responds to my posts grumble grumble /s :P) Yeah, those are the points I kept bringing up. You could say that he's learned from his recent Elim game, but this feels way too much like village!Danex to me. He always has controversial opinions and sticks with them. the only thing I don't like about him is his fear of death it seems rn. Been a bit but I don't quite remember that. Honestly with no one else really apparently thinking this, I start to wonder about matr- ... @Liranil is one of them. I tagged the other earlier. James seems incredibly villager-y :P. - He's taking time to go through and putting effort in. - He's got strong opinions and okay pushing them (ignore my fear of powerwolfs from QF49 *looks to Archer* ) - He thought that the two people in the writeup were real, dead people. Fake slip? maybe who knows but I don't think so :/ Quinn also does this in her village games. I think the difference wouldn't be that obvious. I'll definiteyl need to reread Quinn and take notes on her, but- her trying to control the thread isn't AI for her. "Safest Kill" by Illwei: Played enough games that people don't feel bad killing her off Started getting more confident in killing people, so more likely to vote than Kingsway. Most people in the game know of her, unlike some of the other players And theres not really any of those who might see her as a huge threat Didn't talk a lot D1, so not any info from the kill In summary: Inactive in game-related talk, mostly- so good kill for minimal info, active and confident enough to vote. EDIT Lotus was the whole point. You said which implied to me that you voted on Lotus in self-pres, and then were glad when they didn't die. you now saying that you have them at slight Elim voids this point I had.

I'm not sure if it's...ever happened successfully here, but it's definitely a common theory that Elims will use vote manip on someone to throw suspicion on them that the Elims were trying to save them.

Of course he knows Connie better than Striker, but with this reasoning you can say that for Matrim, for Quinn, but you use that reasoning for gears??? Yeah I know, which is why this kinda analysis gets us nowhere with the points you're looking at IMO. if there's anything that Connie specifically would have been killed for, it would have been an interaction in thread- something you never touched on the details of, because you're looking at the general. I don't wanna invalidate your analysis efforts or whatnot, I just feel like Quinn asked you to look at this, and, being more self-aware you didn't want to say no. Looking at the general with players like Araris works because they're a (...low profile?) high profile player, and you can bet that people have played with them and know their Meta. A lot of players here are either New, Newer, or new to eachother. ... Perhaps Connie was attacked because she was a player people would know? Okay... I was going to say something related to the Araris thing. Araris was killed because Quinn was scared of him (from what she's told me :eyes) and that makes sense, her having just played multiple games with him where he was an Elim and then won. This can't be applied at all with Connie. Now if someone had killed Striker then that would be easier to talk about. You could probably rule out people like Kings_way, Quinn, Connie, Lotus, Books, Liranil- well, you get the point. (Wouldn't rule out Breaker, James, or Archer though in that situation :P). The point is it might be easier to rule out those people. I was going to talk more here but Instead I'm not and I'm gonna do other things. Heres we's gots the people. these are the people. I'm going to pretend that they're all village for the sake of this. great plan yesyes. I will talk through my thinking and see where that ends up. probably nowhere helpful. somewhat ties in to last point but hopefully in a better way. Going for someone like Connie is a good target imo if they are worried about someone tracing it back to "who knows [Kill target]". I've started rambling and don't be making much sense :P. You don't feel like a chaotic good to me :/. Skybreakers are Lawful Lawful and no one can tell me otherwise :P. But also I wouldn't describe Mat with "chaotic" :P. if you read him consistently chaotic then that's not true chaos, imo :P. EDIT: You coulda argue that the Elims wouldn't wanna kill connie bc she's ML bait, but I'd argue back that that has happened in every game so far, and the village never goes through with it.

Two of Ashbringer, Breaker, Lotus, Liranil, StrikerEZ, Condensation had their vote removed. So basically what's my conclusion here? absolutely nothing, this is pure iioa because I am a helptul villager hehe. Lotus is usually a minimal poster, which, yes, most of it is usually RP (which I kiiiinda see a tad differently than pure fluff/game fluff/chaos okay there's a whole bunch of different groups that you could group things in-) but I've never known Lotus as an Avid PMer? @Lotus Just correct me if I'm wrong here. I know I personally haven't ever tried to talk to you really in PMs, so maybe I just don't see this. The fact that you feel better about Books than Striker here is strange to me. Books definitely knows Connie better, so if the killer was killing Connie based on their past games (which, tell me what they would be killing Connie for there? In her past games she's been almost killed every time and then the village kinda gives up on that), then Books would definitely fit that better than Striker. Does Connie know Gears really well? if this is the main point here: why wouldn't Gears kill anyone else? You'd know him better. Mat would know him better. I would know him better. I see no reason for this to be a reason he kills Connie? [1] The profile of...what? I didn't see you identify one in the first place? The profile of someone who would kill connie? cool! what is that? Someone who didn't want a less-talkative Connie in the game? Someone who was looking for a safe kill? Someone who wanted to get rid of the people they knew? [2] You go assuming it's a WGG, or trying to tell us that it is again. so your reasoning for Mat relies on Connie also being an Elim? So, honestly? Ash. I see him trying to pull reasoning out of thin air when he has none, because he's the one who submitted the kill your welcome, game solved.

I believe lotus' point was that no matter the alignment of the greys, they wouldn't reflect on Danex's alignment. You still haven't responded to the part that I tagged you in, Quinn :P. EDIT: You were also the person who said they did it to cast suspicion on you. Trying to tell us that you're the innocent one and it was to frame you, not save you. Honestly something I also haven't seen a lot is vote manip to frame someone. idk, just a thought. someone should start doing that again :P.

At this point I'm willing to vote out danex to get this confusion over with. I still don't like how fast everyone is to hop on. also Quinn you didn't respond me my response of you. Kill Danex, Liranil kills Lotus.

Gears was a later vote, but it's still her deciding to not engage with the main vote wagons, as there wasn't a real chance of a last minute swing to Gears. Here I get really tinfoil-y: What if lotus was a WGG? think on it...or maybe not. at least, not too much I've been told that I can get a bit addicted to the tinfoil at times... But in response to @Quinn0928 : D1 subjects aren't really looked at after D1 (see, Aman in MR46). I'm not saying it's likely, but it is still possible that, having a vote manip each turn, they chose to use it in the best way that would get more people killed. Lotus dies today, is village, and then the Village turns back on Danex for being saved. Watching the whole thread pile back on Danex isn't a great feeling :P. Kiiiinda just wanting to sheep james on whatever he comes up with but I figure that it would really be more productive if more than one person did stuff so i'll be back...eveeeentually. :P. probably the next time someone posts. but I can't promise it'll be anything productive then, just- I'll be back eventually with thoughts. First thing is that Ash was the first one to mention the vote manip and possibility of a WGG.
