"Not all of it - " Martin pinches the bridge of his nose. "Look, this isn't my specialty, so take most of my suggestions with a grain of salt."

"Think about it this way," Martin suggests. "The outsides need to be at least a little bit uniform, but you could paint the insides."

Partials by Dan Wells. I'm enjoying it quite a bit, considering that YA of this particular subgenre is about 50/50 hit or miss for me.

There is something incredibly freeing and also heart-wrenching about giving away books.
In other news, I still have an overflow pile of books and one of the supports for one of the boards in the bookshelf is missing.

"There probably will be," he hastens to add. "But I don't think we're... zoning." He tucks that away to look into later.

Martin watches for the soldiers' reactions and wonders what Ayia's plan is to make them feel more enthusiastic.

"Martin. Resident... something. I don't have an official job." Not technically, anyway.

What Are You Watching?

Over the past few days, I discovered a few things. One, Russian LOTR exists. I don't speak Russian. I'm gonna try to watch it. Two, there's a Turkish Star Wars. I'm horrified and intrigued, and I'm gonna see if I can find it.
