Spren of Kindness

Martin feels any semblance of knowing what to do leave him in a second. He casts a maybe-slightly-panicked glance at Ayia.

"Kid, if you went and got a tattoo, I don't think any of us are going to yell at you."

"Got it." Martin cracks his neck and shoves his hands in his pockets. "I think I'm going to head to the mess hall."

"Right. Will there be paint involved? Because if there is, I think Craven and... Leo would enjoy that." Kids like painting, right?

"So. Is there anything we should do before starting another building project?"

I know that in the past that for a lot of books, usually the paperback comes out ten months to a year after the initial release. COVID might have thrown some changes in that. I think I remember someone saying somewhere that it would be about a year after release when the large/mass market paperbacks for ROW would come out. But if you really don't want to wait, the library is always an option, though there might be a hefty wait time depending on what version you go for.

Wow, I completely forgot that I made this thread. So, I guess this is kind of a necro? But I don't particularly mind. Anyway, I gave myself a good long break after book one, and I flew through book two. So I've got some momentum now, and I'm gonna do my best. (As my signature shows. )

"Right." Martin claps his hands together a few times as well. "So now what?"

"Hafta agree with you there."

"I see. Alright then." Martin looks around at the camp. "Are we going to get started on that, then?"

"We could do some recruiting, 'punch Wyrn in the face' and then renovate."

"I would almost suggest rearranging a few of those."

"So, what's our plan?"

"That's right." What had happened to that, anyway?

"Explosives would be my thought too." He looks at the aluminum weapons and narrows his eyes. Would aluminum bullets be a viable method?

"What about aluminum weapons?" Martin asks.

"That's what I want to know," Martin mumbles.

"What is the plan for Wyrn anyway?" Martin asks. "Are we gonna try to capture him, or just get him off the playing field?"

"...I had no plans to do that." He absolutely had, but it seems she's either cottoned on to it, or she's guessing.

"Remind me to go over those with you later. I had an idea." Well, it's more of an inkling, but it could become an idea.

Martin narrows his eyes as a thought strikes him. "You don't happen to have more explosives, do you?"
