Spren of Kindness

"Not very stable," Kindness says. "I can feel the fraying. This place is going to tear apart."

"Stupid withergeists. What's it going to take to restore this place?"

Kindness hugs Fadran back.

Kindness drifts dizzily, her ears ringing. "It's working. They're getting sucked in! Keep that heat going a bit longer, Nathrangking!"

"Almost ready..." Kindness darts away from the glowing ring as a ribbon of blue. "Fadran, go for it!"

"Okay. There are two more things that need to be done. I'm going to make a ring of Stormlight. Do not go inside it." Kindness swoops low to the ground, Stormlight trailing after her. "Then we're going to need that explosion, Fadran, right at the spot the mirrors reflect onto."

"Excellent! Set those up in a ring reflecting towards a single point, please."

"I guess that'll do. Who wants to set up the mirrors?"

"Okay... What we need is an explosion. The ettmetal was simply the easiest way to get one, according the the books. So we can skip that step, and the water too, if someone can make an explosion!"

"I should be able to. The tricky thing will be the ettmetal."

"Yes! We need mirrors, water, Stormlight, and ettmetal. Then we can banish these things to outer space."

Kindness starts zipping around the battlefield, glowing brightly to distract the withergeists from the others.

That's fair. I don't know if I would call him 'the most charming entity in the Cosmere', though. There's a lot of people who don't like him.

@18th Shard, Thanks for the explanation! I'll probably have her come after then, keep her backstory easy for me. I've never done a real RP before, so I'm going to be learning with her.

I've been playing for about eight years. I wouldn't say I'm particularly good, though.

"Be careful with those things," Kindness nods towards the withergeist. "They're weird."

Um... I don't really understand a thing you just said. I know a new era just started, but I have no idea how it would affect Freya. I don't even know what effects there are.

Kindness reappears, soaking wet. "It's an old rhyme, in one of the books! 'Mirror to reflect the light, Stormlight to show the way, Lithium to ignite, water to bind and stay'! If we can get them in a circle, I can banish them through a portal by reflecting the light of exploding lithium off mirrors and onto a Stormlight infused gem!" She turns to the new man. "Hello! Nice to meet you! I'm sorry you ran across us in such an... odd situation!"

"Nathrangking, I'm going to split my consciousness. Part of it will be your blade. The rest of me will find the materials for the banishment." A silvery blade drops to the ground as Kindness shrinks and fades. "Make good use of it!" The air snaps closed around her, the blade remaining.

"How long do you think you can keep them contained?" Kindness asks. "I remember reading something about how to banish these things, but I'll need time to gather the materials."

Kindness bobs in the air. "Does anybody need a sword? I can be one, and all this glowing is a bit tiring!"

Kindness flares her glow as bright as she can, causing deep shadows to form, forcing the withergeists away from her.

Kindness shrinks to a small ball, glowing brightly to blind the creatures.

"I can glow," Kindness offers. "I don't think I can glow bright enough to destroy them, though. I could be a distraction?"
