  1. Agreed. We will begin with structure, then let it go as we grow past it.
  2. Yes. And mine would be 42754
  3. Well, Truthwatcher expressed interest and is likely asleep, so I'd give it a few hours. How about in 3 hours [at 23:00 GMT]
  4. Thoust words have not rhymed. Your words were ill timed. I thank you for being kind.
  5. I find this perfectly amenable.
  6. Wonderful. Read the initial rules. I'm going to give this a few hours before we start.
  7. The return of Nomic from it's untimely grave and subsequent resurrection. The rules are as follows: https://legacy.earlham.edu/~peters/writing/nomic.htm#initial set New rules begin at the index 301. We will separate the game into "Dynasties". When a player wins, that Dynasty ends and a new Dynasty begins with all rules returning to the initial set [excluding a scant few that are too precious which will be decided between dynasties] @The Second Post, @The_Truthwatcher, @xinoehp512, come forth from the aether and respond in the affirmative and we shall begin.
  8. Affirmative. I shall create one posthaste.
  9. A ploy it be naught, though it really be ought, as my grammar's been caught, with mistakes it is fraught, most sadly the plot has been lost to the ascot that fell in the pot of my dear friend Scott who of course is a Scot who is often sought to untie the knots of shoes tied taught.
  10. I propose a game within a game within a subforum within a subforum within a forum within a fansite within a simulation. Id est, let's play Nomic, Mornington Crescent, or Brag. I will not tell you the rules, and one of these games doesn't exist properly, so you must vote without knowledge.
  11. I would love such a treat, though my rhymes can't be beat, even by one who's managed this near-feat, and you are the one who I greet and offer a seat in honor of your rhymes so neat, so fast and so fleet, with a skill reminiscent of 221B Baker Street.
  12. Your rhymes are a delight, simply a wonderful sight, and let me assure you that you sound not nearly so trite as a game show host in the dead of night with hands of sleight and smiles so bright with contestants reaching the incredible height of the high-flying dancer known as a kite.
  13. In the future, to keep the game alive, we should divide the game into "Dynasties" [or rounds]. After a person wins, all added rules [but a scant few that are too beloved to repeal] are eliminated, and the game begins anew with the standard rules. Dynasty the first will begin when all players respond in the affirmative to the following [official] ruleset. New rules shall be made starting at index 301. https://legacy.earlham.edu/~peters/writing/nomic.htm#initial set
  14. Dawnshard? Will we finally learn about those mystical artifacts? Very exciting.
  15. I see Pattern as the 2-D cross section of a 3-D Mandelbrot set or a 3-D Julia set. I hear him as a a series of overtones [harmonic progression] on a constantly changing pitch.
  16. Tell everyone. Someone else will definitely discover it some day, and better that everyone knows than one person who may engage in morally dubious acts in the future.
  17. Yes, if I am told what to write as I have no knowledge of the current affairs of the Alleyverse.
  18. My apologies for the double post, but I finished my roast! It turns out that insulting people in meter is very difficult. Can we just have insult competitions without the necessity to rhyme in rhythm?
  19. This was very, very fun. Wonderful writeups, great narrative. One day, I hope to be as good of a writer as Kas. Elims, you did amazing. I only mildly suspected Drake and Lahlit. So close to a wipeout. According to the almighty GM, I was the only one not to get a useable item. 'Tis a shame.
  20. Nomic! I love that game. If people are amenable to resurrecting it, I'll play.
  21. I'm almost done with the roast. Just need one more stanza.
  22. I believe I comprehended most of it.
  23. The Anarchist took the slip of paper and said. "Thank you. I'll keep that in mind." The next job was currently unknown, but this guy was definitely part of the crew for it. @Sorana
