  1. I mean, a simple way in which you can use feruchemy to make allomancy more powerful is using pewter. Since, both of the powers of pewter are so similar, we have evidence that instead of storing 'your muscles' in pewter, you can store the pure strength you get while burning pewter. Such, a metalmind would likely work like a stronger version of normal A-pewter, giving much much more power, which you again store in a metalmind. We have some evidence that this is what the Lord Ruler was doing, since he didn't get lots and lots of muscles while he increased his strength. (That is what should happen if he was doing normal compounding)

  2. Oh yeah, I've been thinking about this for a long time.

There are no problems, unless Feruchemy works differently on the basis of where you are in a gravitational field.

This is how it would work.

You put two (or more) Skimmers in a ferris wheel type machine. Each of them stores as much weight as they can while they are going upwards, and taps at the optimal rate while coming down. This would create a torque around the wheel, and you could then easily connect the wheel to a generator to get essentially infinite energy.

to achieve ballistic speeds you probably only need 30 or 40 lashings. 1 lashing about 10m/s^2 If you have a short distance maybe your projectile only pushes your target away. like way up in the sky.

I am not sure what you are saying, but you can just use the v^2 = 2as to calculate. With v = 200m/s and s = 1m, you get a req. a = 20000m/s^2 which is 2000 lashings.

Nor would they need to use 2,000 reverse lashings. Kal didn't come anywhere near that to rip off Pursuers head. I didn't actually mention 2,000. Reverse lashings use less stormlight compared to effect than any other WR ability, To be sure I am clear RL's have a stronger effect with less stormlight, but are limited by whether the pulled object is on the ground and function only while the WR is touching the surface pulling.

Yeah, but I did. If you need to speed up something in a short distance you need a lot of acceleration

Reverse lashings are most effective on things that are not grounded like arrows in flight and appear to only work so long as the surface the item is drawn to is in contact with the windrunner (unique to them), but it does use stormlight more efficiently and has the lowest power output over time. At least that is what the coppermind says.

Hmm, it might have a low power, but I don't think a Windrunner could use 2000 of them easily.

When you dream that you're seeing a live-action play of WoR...it focused on Adolin and especially the duel, and I remember there being a lot of Shadolin/Shaladin/Kadolin/Shakadolin vibes. Also a side plot of Rlainarin. My mom, Rubix, and Chaos were watching with me for some reason :P

Wait wait. Is this the Oxford comma thing or is Rubix your mom?

  7. Yeah, but the fact that Avada Kedavra is irreversible in the books isn't built into the spell. It's just because they do not have any magic which can bring back the dead. We do, in the cosmere have such magic. (For certain values of dead, of course)
