In the Hemalurgic table, it is written that aluminium "removes all powers", so I doubt that the bullets would be invested.
-
This is the whole question. How accurate do you have to be to steal an attribute? We do know that position is more important in the receiver, but how accurate do you have to be in the donor?
-
If I take a bullet of aluminium, put it into a gun, and then fire it, all the while with the Intent to use it in Hemalurgy, it will work, won't it? I don't understand why you felt the need to say this. So, it doesn't really matter, right? If I hit a misting with an aluminium bullet, it will remove their power(Or maybe remove something else? I don't know)
-
I don't think that Gears is voting on StrikerEZ.
-
Storms, I am stupid. I was not talking about transfer of powers. Aluminium simply removes powers in Hemalurgy. (Question: Lerasium steals all powers, while atium steals any power. Does this mean you only need one lerasium spike for many powers?) This was my main question. If you have Intent to make a Hemalurgical spike and knowledge of the bind points but you do not know where it will hit, can you still make one?
-
Hmm, can you tell us why you trust Orlok, Aranis, Sart, Elbereth? Why do you think we should not lynch Ventyl?
-
The question is that, if you have an spray machine gun with aluminium bullets, can you complete destroy another persons spiritweb, ripping it in parts, each bullet removing different things depending upon where they pierce the person. This might easily stop a knight radiant.
-
So, I just realised that in Hemalurgy, Aluminium 'removes all powers'. I have two problems with this: What is all? Do you also remove Physical strength, Connections, Identity? Does an aluminium spike leave someone a soulless husk by removing their very spiritweb? Or does this change with respect to where you put the spike? So hypothetically while using aluminium bullets, you could remove Allomancy / Some other stuff of your opponents? This would become very overpowered once aluminium is cheap.
-
Alright, I just wanted to say that we are mainly considering compounding Feruchemy with Allomancy. We can also compound Allomancy using Feruchemy. This is in my opinion how the Lord Ruler gets his strength without the muscle mass. (Store A-Pewter strength into F-Pewter, burn F-Pewter)

Well, I am finally up. Why does all the discussion happen while I am asleep? @Straw can we get a vote count? I will be reread the thread to understand what all is going on, meanwhile: TJ Shade: I don't think they are suspicious enough to lynch D1? As far as I remember, even when they had become a viable lynch target in in QF, they did seem to be panicked if I remember correctly. However, to be fair, the suspicion towards Ash feels very tinfoil-y, TJ Shade, I don't understand why you felt that an elim would be more likely to put the -ish? Ventyl: Everybody seems to be suspicious of them. This is fair with the roleclaim, The plan is to let them make a Squire, and then kill them tomorrow. I like this plan. Worst case scenario is that we lose a village!Radiant and while the elims gain a Squire.

This seems very odd. You would know the no. of players if you looked at the players list, and it seems that you had. You even knew the correct no. of players but suffixed it with an (ish). Why? If you had chosen 20-ish or 25-ish , but you specifically chose 24, the correct no. of players and downplayed your knowledge of that. Why? This may seem nitpicky, but well, elims can let slip the smallest of things even subconsciously, so nitpicky I shall be. Ashbringer. Hmmm, I would think this is NAI, Ashbringer could easily have seen the player list earlier in the sign up thread and not be sure that they remember the correct number. I don't understand why you feel that an elim would be more likely to put the -ish? So, this is these player's normal play style? Why do Orlok and Araris play like this? Ah, yes! I figured that it was for such a reason. This is an interesting idea. I might follow your lead with this. EDIT: 'd by Ashbringer.

The Mistborn Breeding Program Was Started A While Ago.
theTruthshaper replied to Karger's topic in Mistborn
Why would it not be in base-16? There are many languages on earth that use a base-16 number system. Also, there is no culture that uses two different number systems. That would be stupid. I am pretty sure this is either an oversight or Harmony/Spook changed the common number system used by people. -

Well, there is a problem. The Final empire used a hexadecimal system for numbers. -
Yessss! The Emperor's Soul is such an emotional book, it is my favorite too . Who is your favorite character?

This is a lot on information to take in, but: Gears: This is almost exactly how they acted in QF45, except for the changed opinion on poke votes. However, that could be due to the increased length of the game. They were suspicious of Elbereth but did not want to vote. However, were later convinced by Elbereth, Orlok and Araris. Elbereth: The voting is suspicious, but maybe only because I dislike such random voting. While the argument for random voting appears to be accurate, it really leads to a case of privileging the hypothesis. Once you have everybody's attention upon a person, they become much easier to lynch. Ventyl: Why did you ~sort of~ roleclaim? Especially this early? After so many people warned against it? StrikerEZ: They claimed that Ventyl's roleclaiming was NAI, which is possible. Then, voted for Gears claiming that Gears is trying to spread paranoia. Orlok: They pushed people to vote even on small suspicions. I disagree with this as waiting clearly helps village; it allows for a clearer frame of mind and prevents random vote trains from forming. They voted for Gears, because of a pre-written role analysis post, saying that this allows for easy swaying of opinions. Araris: They randomly (from my POV) decided to kill Ventyl. They have given no explanation for this. Devotary: They only talked about how the Surges would interact with the gameplay. There is no accusation or defense of anyone. Sart: They voted for StrikerEZ as they felt the discussion about Adhesion/Transportation was a distraction. Matrim: They warned that Ventyl's roleclaim could be an elim tactic. It feels too transparent for an elim, but this still is a valid concern. They got very confused about StrikerEZ and thus was convinced by Sart. Ashbringer: Basically the same as Devotary. They also were suspicious of Ventyl as Ventyl had tricked them in a similar manner last LG. Lahilt: One post. They state opinion of poke voting. Pyromancer: Very few posts. They were pushing a Gear lynch to Kynedath. Kynedath: One post, no particular reads. I really dislike the current voting trends. None of the votes fell like they have much reason behind them, and are mostly reflections of very weak suspicions/differences of opinion. I am mostly suspicious of Aranis seeing that they have give no explanation for their Ventyl lynch.

Jesbet rushed through his packing, 'I really should stop leaving things till the last moment', he thought as he picked up his pack and ran his checklist through his mind. Finally, the last leg of the journey was before him, Urithiru was no longer just a lofty dream. He would get to study with the foremost artifabrians of his age and maybe become a Radiant or Squire in doing so. As he gathered with the refugees, he marveled at the freshness, a result of the Highstorm, around them.

Everything of the above but with the other healed Heralds, I personally doubt that Taln would be satisfied if he is chilling out in Purelake while his friends (and Ash ) are mad,

As much as I know about chemistry, Divinding the air would probably give rise to this. Which is sort of like lightning, except it will not move and will simply stay there. The ions will probably recombine fairly quickly releasing more heat and light. It will probably make a small explosion. Not viable for sustained thrust, unless of course you have some liquid/gas fuel with you.
