Mid-Range Game 42: The Auction of Lord Winsting
|TJ| replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Ahh, I get it now. That's actually smart. If this is the case, the result would be - "Bleeder got attacked, but survived!" In this case, the extortion would simply fail. You can blame Pyro and his "plans" for this, btw xD -

True. I'd have to trust Kynedath and a bodyguard. Preferably if Pyro could assure elim Bodyguard would protect him, since Pyro seems too eager to find out Bleeder. -

If Bleeder isn't Extortionist/ Escort, much better then! Kynedath gets can answer to his second scan on Sart. If it's Bartender, he's Bleeder. If not, he's being framed. Also, this is a bad idea. What if they redirect it to Winsting by accident? This can only work with elim Extortionists assuming Pyro has told them Winsting's identity. Village Extortionists might redirect it to Winsting by accident. -

So here's a plan. I'm assuming Kynedath non-Bleeder. He scans Sart for the second time. For this to happen successfully he shouldn't die, get role-blocked or redirected. If we were to trust Kyne's scan, Sart is a Smuggler. Hence, he can't extort or escort Kyne. The only thing he can do is kill Kyne. So we'll give him protection. If his Kyne's action gets role-blocked or redirected, Sart couldn't have done that as his secondary action is Smuggling, so it must Bleeder who's trying to frame Sart. EDIT: Can we really risk losing another villager to a mislynch if Sart is not Bleeder? -

Kill all the GMs? How do you kill the Game Masters? -

Also, how often does the SK actually win in a game like this? -

Doesn't matter. Either Extortionist or Escort ability would prevent you from getting the answer. -

Bleeder may have the ability to redirect actions too, so we might not find if Sart is Bleeder after all. It all comes down to this. Sart or Bleeder trying to frame Sart. EDIT: That's why I think Sart's gotta go. I'll make my vote later after some more discussion. -

Villager! (or at least) Non-Breeder! Kynedath confirmed. -

Wait is that what it means? I really did't know. This is actually brilliant. How does it work actually? You send your target and you get the result after the cycle ends? Or do you get it immediately, as soon as Joe reads your request? -

He has sent results of all 4 scans to me. I would like to confirm its authenticity for C2 and C3 though. If what he claims is true, then he couldn't have been Bleeder because she used kill moves in those two cycles. He couldn't. Smuggling a vote to create a global tie causes the action to get role-blocked. That's probably what ended up happening by the way. If Sart was Bleeder and there's an absence of a Smuggled vote, then he should have executed a kill move. Also, he'd be eager to prove that he isn't Bleeder so Smuggling a vote is actually beneficiary for Bleeder!Sart. So mostly his Smuggled vote got role-blocked. But that would only happen if he tried to remove a vote off HH [since HH(5) and Pyro(4)]. I don't know why he would do this. Logically he should have removed a vote off himself. Can @Shard of Reading confirm this? We can then scratch Kynedath off the list. -

@Kynedath, could you scan Sart again this cycle? If the result is Bartender, then we have all the proof in the world for Bleeder!Sart -

Went back and read through Orlok's final tabular analysis before he died (wow, he's insanely perceptive). Definitely agree that BR and Shard of Reading are likely to be evil. Correlate that with the fact that these names never showed up from Pyro while Bleeder Hunting. For example, we have this quote from BR. Fura makes a simple guess about the no. of elims. "Good village vibe" is definitely a stretch. So we have xino, BR, Shard of Reading, and Pyro. We really should be going for double/triple lynches. Since we already have 2 votes on xino, I implore others to vote on one of the other 3. Coming to Bleeder, I do think they are trying to frame Sart. His alibi is suspicious, but we really cannot afford to lynch more villagers. I'm still suspicious of Bleeder!Pyro, but I'll curb my doubts for now. Speaking of @The Young Pyromancer, why didn't elim bodyguards protect Karnage in C3? -

So Sart is still not cleared right? If both the kills are from bartenders (we have to assume since they get their chance only once in two cycles), that Bleeder either scanned or used his second ability. Of course, Bleeder might try to pin it on Sart by not killing anyone in this cycle. The more villagers die, the easier it is for Bleeder to kill Winsting. She is in no hurry. Pyro, what was your Stalker scan result? -

@A Joe in the Bush, does Bleeder have abilities other than role-scan/align-scan? If so, does she scan as Bartender to a Renowned despite her other abilities i.e. does the following quote hold true no matter what? Vote Count: Coda (2) - DeTess, TJ Pyro (3) - Lord Sil, TGK, Emi HH(5) - Megasif, Sart, Bugsy, Kynedath, Pyro Wilson (1) - Wilson Sart (3) - Matrim, HH, Experience -

*sigh* I'm doing this against my better judgement. There's no way you'd get lynched as things stand so might as well do it. Pyro Coda EDIT: @The Young Pyromancer, you're gonna change your vote back to Sart right? -

Mid-Range Game 42: The Auction of Lord Winsting
|TJ| replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Wait, what does this mean? I thought Bleeder only had the power to role-scan and align-scan, right? Well, you've put me in a dilemma. If I do retract my vote, you'll change your vote back to Sart? (I'll probably wait to see if @DeTess or @little wilson will change their votes) -
Mid-Range Game 42: The Auction of Lord Winsting
|TJ| replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
It wouldn't. If Sart is Bleeder, he wouldn't be lynched this cycle. -
Mid-Range Game 42: The Auction of Lord Winsting
|TJ| replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
So you're saying breaking the tie does not mess up our plans to find Bleeder? Well, I suppose that's true since Sart can prove himself as Smuggler by removing a vote on him nonetheless. If he can't, then he wouldn't be lynched this cycle. -
Mid-Range Game 42: The Auction of Lord Winsting
|TJ| replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Again, why? You claim to help us. But when we get the best opportunity to check 2 people for Bleeder, you mess up the votes. You say you won't die and yet it appears you've changed the vote to save your skin. You claim to change the votes to screw up the tie, but what purpose does that serve? (Other than saving you skin, which you claim it doesn't do) -

That's not quite being a team-player Pyro. I'm sure your elims will be fine without you, but are you willing to mess with our chance of confirming/lynching Sart as Bleeder just because you'll die? -
Mid-Range Game 42: The Auction of Lord Winsting
|TJ| replied to Jo and the Bush's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I think this is a good situation to be in. Coda (1): DeTessPyro (3): Silberfarben, TJ Shade, The God KingHH (4): Megasif, Sart, Bugsy, Kynedath Wilson (1): WilsonSart (4): Pyro, Matrim, Hemalurgic Headshot, Experience If Sart moves someones vote on him, he'll be confirmed as a Smuggler and save himself, so we don't lose a villager. We also lynch HH, who might be Bleeder. If he doesn't move the vote off him, he'll be lynched, and is most definitely Bleeder. Now if someone just votes for Pyro, we could achieve a triple lynch and take care of an elim also. All this assuming no one manipulates votes of course. They don't have any reason to. If anyone manipulates votes from this situation it's pretty suspicious.
