  1. still unsure tbh. but not really thinking too much about him as if he's elim then he's already been expelled. i am interested in connections to and from him though. if he intends to keep posting in the thread, the namedrops will either not exists or they'd be too ikyk-y to prevent hinting at connections if he's evil, so i'll be on the lookout for that. edit - speaking of szeth, i received a pm from them asking if i was evil. a very eerie callback to the very first pm i received playing SE from lord silber, with the exact same wordings. back when i was naive enough to think that perhaps such a question would not be asked from an elim. and lord silber ended up being an elim. i did wonder if it was the same case here. like, what is the purpose behind the question?
  2. very weak point about araris imo. there's no way e!araris just simply stops trying to fake effort and try to appear village just because of expulsion. and what I think I have observed about v!archer before is he has this tendency to think any other reads different or diametrically opposing his are suspicious. Here with the opinion that sart and stink are two different votes, he is exhibiting the same which i think is a village indication. hesitant to say this as e!archer could have figured this tell out and be using it but i don't think I've mentioned it before. because i disagree that sart and stink are different votes for me. I read through m3 and both their posts pinged me off wrong. sart's lazy and misrepresenting vote on me and stink for his vote on araris. again disagree with the sheeping comment because I don't recall anyone bringing up my points so i went back to check - i was the second and only other vote on stink, i was the second vote on sart. the pony protected me :).
  3. Three months had whizzed by and Salva had done nothing. Of course, he was diligent in his studies and was an exemplary student, not deviating from an ideal pupil but he hadn't done anything he had set out to do. He had just gone through the first term just by keeping to himself. He had promised himself things would be different. That he'd try to make friends but he felt he was a bit paradoxical in nature. He wanted friends, of course he did. A man is a social being after all. Anyone who says anything different is a liar. But he also reveled and relished solitude quite possibly like no other person. There was something absolutely calming about being completely at peace with oneself. He wasn't 'settling' to be a loner, it was that he enjoyed it at times. He wished he could have both. He wished he was outgoing and social while also enjoying his alone time. But with friends and connections come expectations and when expectations are not met, it inevitably leads to heartbreak. Perhaps today would be the day it changes. Perhaps it doesn't have to be a drastic change either. It could start with a single person. And perhaps, no matter how absurd it sounded, he could find someone just like him, someone who doesn't feel the pressure to fill every silence with words or assume every gap in a conversation is awkward. Someone would be happy that they're sad. Someone who could experience joyful melancholy. Quick, pure gut reads - mat - lately i been reading mat and archer evil by default at the beginning of the game idk why. feels a bit too worried about money but worry feels genuine. unsure. kas - rp heavy but also not budging from village duty, doesn't feel like hiding behind rp, helpful player analysis. village. tkn - dont really recall a lot of posts but apology for voting on kas felt genuine. steel - started with gut evil m1 post. but really non-existent activity and kas reminded me dgaf!steel is high evidence for v!steel wonko - don't recall posts. mark to re-read. archer - felt quite evil till last cycle but posts this cycle make me feel quite better. unsure. ashbringer - don't remember non-rp posts. leaning more towards rp in rp-analysis scale. shades of dingo because of it. but much more active here compared to dingo which is giving me pause. leaning evil though. araris valerian - unsure. don't recall being activity prior this cycle. seems engaging this cycle. might have to reread posts from earlier cycles. szeth pancakes - don't recall posts. mark to re-read. stink - gut evil from that vote on araris this cycle. sart - gut evil from posts this cycle. also not seeing how my votes were opportunistic last cycle. sidenote - this is to prevent a loss by field destruction. i see myself agreeing with kas' earlier comments that he assumed elims will go for straight win rather than field destruction, more obvious because we can keep an eye on players with multiple elevations and it'd be easier to pinpoint them if there indeed is a field destruction.
  4. sorry, yet to get into the game, but finding archer's obsession with double-voting drake a bit weird. drake a bit claim bait-y in PMs, something to look forward too. remember myself agreeing with the vote on steel from t1m1 but really can't seem to recall why. hopefully will get to re-read before eom and get to form a clearer picture.
  5. Salva was always a quiet boy while growing up. He didn't make friends easily, but once he did, they were family. He'd grow so comfortable with them, they'd be more closer to him than his own family. And now he had to do it all over again. The beginning is always the most difficult part - the insecurities, fear of judgment, the awkwardness - everything made Salva just want to go hide in a corner and do his own thing. But no, what was the point of his new found freedom if he just repeated his life from before. He did not know any of these people, why would he care for their judgment? So what if he did something embarrassing? They'd find it funny for a moment and then forget about him. The upsides would be far greater and worth the risk of mild humiliation from the people he'd likely not care about. He could run away, he supposed, but he wanted to create a life for himself away from his family. He'd have to find a family for himself here and he finally did not care if he was too socially inept to try. He would make an effort nonetheless.
  6. Salva walked around the building looking impressed. He hadn't really wanted to attend the University but he was quite bored of the monotonous life he was living so far and wanted a changed. Oh, that and his father. He really couldn't take it anymore. Couldn't stay in the house any longer as it had become unbearable. It wasn't abuse in the literal sense of the word, it was more like he was frustrated with Salva's literal existence. Nothing he did could pacify his father, he'd always found fault in each and every thing, from possibly a daily chore all the way to major life decisions. He had to sit through his father's teeth-grinding lecture repeating the same things over and over again, but he couldn't snap. Oh no, if there's on thing his hypocritical father hated more that anything, it was showing anger towards him. Even the slightest raised voice would have him tearing his hair out. That is when things did get abusive so Salva never gave it a chance. He always reigned it in in front of his father and let it all go when he was alone. Be it punching the walls or screaming at the top of his voice, Salve needed to vent out his frustrations or else he'd either go crazy or snap at his father. He'd have run away a long time ago but his mother was a sweetheart. She would have been heartbroken if he'd left and father was nothing but a doting, loving husband for her. She had a strong sense of duty towards her family and her husband. She'd never have left with me and I would never made her choose. It truly was a no-brainer when he had the opportunity to join the University. Anything to get away from this place which also gave a perfect excuse for Salva to get away without feeling guilty about running away from his mother. One final lecture to endure about the etiquette and behaviour in University from his father and he was off, tasting freedom like he never had before.
  7. gg guys! couldnt be as active as i wished but had fun plotting with Mat and deTess!
  8. Yeah, but I'm A Fighter. There's definitely one who isn't me because these are my actions - c1 - fought archer, top suspect c2 - fought archer, top suspect, wanted to kill him and didn't think he'd get eliminated. wasn't there for rollover. c3 - after ash revealed he was fought, i had this niggling suspicion based on paranoia that tkn could be e!fighter so fought tkn (note that i could have tried to kill ash here after his reveal if i was evil). @Ashbringer, your fight was not from my side. if i had to theorize, i think devotary was e!fighter. i also received a silver knife the cycle after devotary died, so i'm assuming i inherited it from her. mildly suspecting aman-mat team now, disliking how mat is terming aman's case on me in his PMs as mild when he knows very well that it was in PMs that he tried to do the same thing in that earlier game. i feel like mat is very relaxed against the threat of e!aman. if the game still goes on after i die, meaning one elim is left and it's 2v1 situation, my money is on aman.
  9. another e!aman trigger for me is when he's village reading me for most of the game and when it's near endgame he starts being ambiguous towards me and starts being sowing suspicion about me and starts pitting the villagers against me. aman i do hesitate because it's not as strong this game as it was in that e!Thug!Aman game or the one which ended with e!Aman, e!Orlok, me and Mat. the desperation was a lot more in those games, but perhaps because aman was on the defence back then. i honestly don't have anything else. [@Matrim's Dice, asking you to recall aman's play in that game and how he was trusting me for most of the game and the last cycle he tried to play us against each other, I think this is similar on a milder scale] a little glance towards ash - elim kill analysis is a hint of v!ash but i feel this particular one is not an honest analysis. because ash, when have i ever been killed for my inactivity, irrespective of my level of activeness? why doesn't it happen? i don't know, i guess it's just part of the meta, my activity is low for the first couple of cycles, elims go for low-info kills. my activity picks up usually but by the time there are higher threats to the elim team and i manage to make it to endgame. my other part of the argument is about the change in behaviour itself. i'd argue that it's a part of se meta now that standard elim tactics are to initially go for low-info kills initially and then deal with either high-threat players or consensus-village players. this is common knowledge which is making me suspect the intention of this kill analysis. mat, i'm honestly not sure, i think he feels very naturally laid back and calm, which is v!mat hint but this is purely a gut read. aman > ash > mat > tkn
  10. sorry boys, work was been really hectic and not really able to give time to this game. wanted to hop on just before starting work - im starting to get paranoid about aman... volunteering to get killed and then getting revived is eerily e!aman reminiscent. i always get paranoid of e!aman close to endgame smh. i'll try to rr after work today.
  11. i keep thinking back to the interaction between archer and devotary where they're talking about the likelihood of a two member team and with this cycles voting pattern, im still holding onto my archer-devo team theory. i still trust wonko. level of trust in my tkn slightly reduced but that archer-tkn interaction is still very similar to the previous game so unlikely to shake it off. mildly leaning village towards aman as well, supposed involvement in shade doc determine and read alpha better a good look.
  12. pardon, had quite a busy weekend. iirc when I suspected archer in the previous recent games his response has been between mild replies to non-obvious ignoring. Seeing a difference here where he's going on the offence, not sure if the difference is from village alignment or different play style but gut says former. still feel something off though. still suspect mat. but also the shift off from devo last cycle was also weird, it felt like there was an effort to save her. still feel something up with archer-devo e/e. village - wonko, tkn evil - mat, archer, devo
  13. gut village feeling from alpha's claim but a very weak one, as it doesn't really feel like a reaction test. not really sure what it is, felt it alpha determined it before the beginning of the game that they were going to claim. other stuff in the above amans post shows evidence of involved!aman, so scaling back on that evil read. its not just involved, hes also theorizing and discussing tactics to win. agreed with that the 'alpha shoot me' plan is ikyk so im confused why propose it but not really seeing the motivation for an elim to do it unless evil with alpha. could be e!aman obviously knows alphas alignment. if alpha is village, aman could be posturing because 'i am willing to die' always brings out village read on him instinctually, but ehhh doesn't really feel like it [understand detess (mild gut village for noticing the possible village appeasement attempt) to vote on this particular reason, but my gut says its not e!aman style]. more likely that they are e/e and wanted to backtrack alpha's claim for some reason and they know aman isnt going to die from nk to give alpha the village read. this feels like it has the higher probability, so need to watch for alpha-aman team in the future. tl;dr - if aman evil, its more likely to be together with alpha rather than without. but also reading alpha mild village. what does that say about my aman read? currently unsure :P. oh and the reason for your ash vote? my gut appreciates of gut-read (talking about ash's vote on devo) but really don't like him leaving the choice open to pivot to alpha later. okaaaaay, unsure about my gut village read on alpha. im not sure if that 'we' in the quoted statement is a slip or deliberate because the 'we' is sounding a lot like an 'elim we'. somethings happening there with archer-devo, not quite sure. but gut evil on this response - because this is a non-answer. its not really a reason to vote on someone but i also don't think it is the reason why you voted on devo. archer also possible e/e here. gut says archer is leaving room for himself to move onto someone else with the question. @Matrim's Dice talk to me, uninvolved/non-inquisitive/holding back mat is always not a good sign. similar to my earlier aman read - gut evil by absence. village - wonko, tkn, detess unsure - aman, alpha, devo null - jnv evil - archer, mat, ash edit - ninja'd by mat. so my last point is nullified, don't really have an opinion about the post. im heading to sleep now, night.
  14. aight, i really liked my play last game so will be playing on instinct again. not sure if wonko means first kill or the first elimination (latter is quite obvious, former not so, but I do agree) but either way, seeing this coming from a village mindset. gut village. aman gut evil. quiet aman, posted but less speaking aman, speaking but not really speaking aman, gut immediately says evil aman. gut village, this interaction very much feels like in the same vein as that in the last game, particularly the one i noticed in the reread which made me hesitate to vote on tkn in the cycle kas made a case for him and he garnered quite a bit of votes. archer tkn not e/e. response to archer similar to last game. and its 3am and ill go to sleep.
  15. Aight, I was holding off as I did not want to dip into this and KKC at the same time but sign me up. Think that should be 6 including JNV.
  16. im so confused. if yall want to me do something specifically just tag me. assuming were not killing drake this day?
  17. Who has the Shards? put them back in confinement. @JNV where did you end up? it's 5-5 currently. if we kill drake now, i don't think drake wins with us. so its going to be another no kill cycle?
  18. bro drake i said i had a devotion charge and was cancelling araris' vote on me smh >> i think walin is the final hoidite.
  19. What can they do other than kill a villager? They could kill Drake I suppose but that's really not the worst outcome. Besides, I have a Devotion charge. I can negate any vote the Hoidite places. If y'all know who the Hoidite is.
  20. Why do we need to kill someone? What is wrong with tied exe? I'm sorry, I cannot in good conscience vote deliberately for a villager. If you guys vote for me, I'll be voting on who I think is the last Hoidite.
  21. okay so hold on, for sudden death win - n7 (7-6) ruin destroys scadrial. ruin wincon completed. drake passes autonomy to someone. (i think it remains 7-6 @Ashbringer if bavadin passes autonomy to someone, will the receiver count as autonomous party if they have not used autonomy's powers? and after bavadin passes it, i assume they are still considered autonomous) solution edit: drake also passes odium to the same person d8 (7-6) we execute drake. we still don't win as shards are not contained and hoids partner is still alive. drake's odium goes to someone. (7-5) ruin gives up their shard for containment. new autonomy creates an avatar to make it (7-7) (they get intent converted (+1) and create an avatar (+1) n8 (7-7) new odium gives up their shard. new autonomy both creates creates a new avatar and gives up the shard for containment. 7-8, outnumber done. shards contained. problem is if odium goes to the evil person. so in order to prevent that, drake needs to use vessel action tonight and send both autonomy and odium to the same person. n7 - drake passes both odium and autonomy to a person. d8 - kill drake. new odium containment. ruin containment. n8 - new autonomy avatar creation. new autonomy containment should be fine. and as the only previous holder of both odium and autonomy at the same time, you should clearly pass it to me :P.
  22. i read that as szeth suggesting that drake implied he would kill szeth in the docs theyre on? either jokingly or else? i donno.
