    Hyron blinked as the child squirmed out of their grip and scampered off towards this.. village.     Calano's Office Calano remembers the black bolt that sliced his cheek open. He uses the sleeve of his coat to wipe off the blood, from him and from Emma. "Yeah, but it wasn't you. Not the you I know." Calano says, before picking Emma up in a huge hug. He breathes out in hysterical relief.

    Calano's Office Calano nods, then his body rushes into the body already present in the room. He opens his eyes, noting Emma's still body, still in his arms. He curses. He looks up at Wizard, who is now a tiger again. "Wizard, what can you do?"

    Jason's Dreamscape Calano throws Jason his apple back without hesitation. Layra steps between Wizard and Calano. "Hold it!" She says, and she thumbs to Wizard, "You trust this... lion, guy, whatever it is?" Calano looks Layra square in the eyes. "With my life. And he's already solidified that trust. His sister is my wife, for goodness sake!" Layra looks at Calano a second longer, and Calano raises an eyebrow. She moves out of the way. "Take me back," Calano says to Wizard, "Now." @The Wandering Wizard

    Hyron coughed, took another drink, and looked out over the island. They didn't see anything too bad, just some fog and moss. Like any other swamp.

    Jason's Dreamscape Calano suddenly remembers how he even ended up in this dreamscape. "Crap." He says, and he turns to Jason and Layra. "Jason, I need your apple. Layra, I've gotta go. Sorry." He turns to Wizard after catching Jason's apple. "Two sentences, do you know what's going on?" @The Wandering Wizard

    Hyron shook their head, adjusting the pack on their shoulder. "Nope. I've got everything I need." They took a drink from their canteen, replenishing their water stores in case they needed to use Verdur. "What's our game plan?"

    Jason's Dreamscape Layra turned to glare at Jason, who pointedly did not make eye contact, instead taking another sip of his drink. "Decently mad, I'd say," Layra said. Calano grinned. Layra, without warning, punched Jason in the gut, who in turn spit out his drink and began coughing. "Layra," He said between coughs, "What the hell?"

    Jason's Dreamscape Layra blows a bit of hair of her face with a puff, then glares at Wizard. "I don't care." She says harshly. Calano laughs. "Well, that's my brother-in-law you just kicked in the shins, and..." Calano looks at Layra, "Gods, Wizard, you're right. She is like Emma." Layra glares at both of them. "How do you- Oh, wait, he's your brother-in-law? You married this Emma? Unless he has another sister, or brother..?" Calano grins, "Nope, I married Emma." He turns to Wizard, "Great, now I have to deal with 2 of them." He laughs. @The Wandering Wizard
