    The Islands Calano blinked, but took a seat. He looked around, nodding appreciatively. It was very cozy in here.

    Hyron knelt, and Breathed on the sapling. It quickly grew to the size of a medium sized tree. They lept up into the branches and shot vines around some branches to create a hammock. "Thank you," They said. @Ookla the Forgotten

    Hyron glared at Miyako, but bit back a retort. The name Viney was... kind of growing on them. This was very bad. Hyron followed the woman, the Second Elder, out the door. Then they punched Miyako in the arm, almost playfully, but mostly spitefully. @Ookla the Kobold @Ookla the Forgotten

    The Islands Calano looked at the siamese. He wondered if he should... bow... or something. Eventually, he decided against it. "My wife has been touched by Kaos, and is Connected to Him. There must be something you can do to help her. We've tried everything we can think of to keep it at the very least at bay." He squeezed Emma's hand. "She's lost me before, and at the same time, I lost her. It will not happen again. There has to be a solution." Calano knelt, looking the cat dead in the eyes. "So I'd say there's a lot troubling me," He said, all the emotions from the past few hours surfacing unexpectedly. He had to use all his willpower not to begin crying. @Ookla the Floofy @The Wandering Wizard

    girlfriend came over to hang out today.

    we watched Lucids (her brain broke but she loved it)

    remembered why i don't invite people over (my sister causing problems)

    i've created somewhat of a limiter in my universe to account for this.. Basically, there's a set 'threshold,' or 'store,' that a being has that can be filled with magical abilities. Investiture, although that's a cosmere term, but it's the closest thing because i don't have a name for it. Depending on the being, be it a High, Higher, or Highest being, that threshold/store changes in size and volume filled at default. But there's a caveat: the bigger your threshold/store is, the less you can actually use it for. Highest beings, like Wyvrns, have an insanely high threshold, as they hold Elemms, the building blocks of the universe. But, because they are bound to their Elemms, they can only act in the Intent, for lack of a better in-universe term (for now), of that Elemm. Higher beings, which are mostly very VERY powerful High beings (think demigods, but more on the god side), have the free will of a human, and a quite high store of Investiture (again, for lack of a better term, this.) High beings can use Investiture, but they don't have much, and it usually costs them something physically. But they also have the free will aspect. Just putting this out there in case someone wants inspiration.
