... gotcha. I think. ... depends on the explanation. But yeah. That's still my main gripe. And, a whole four people hopped on the train, somewhat on my reasoning. (Including @STINK, who I'd like to hear more from, because they seemed to just add support to my reasoning without really saying anything. Which I know is fairly Stink, but still.) So, what's the verdict on that? You've said you're not really that suspicious of Archer - my bad, it looked like you were - so who are you suspicious of? Again, my main gripe is/was that you left the misunderstanding hanging for so long, not the misunderstanding itself. You've said your reasons for wanting the Vigor book, and they're fair reasons, but it would have been so easy to just mention them. And because you just now said that you were... trying to draw suspicion to see who would follow it and follow me, I guess? If that was the plan, why not just... PM me or someone you trusted and say that you'd rather discuss it during the day? That would at least tell me you have a reason to wait. I don't even know anymore. Homework. Do homework. Off Shard.

Where's your chalk? oh, it was "stolen" ? man, that's not believable smh. If i was an Elim do you think I'd come out and be like "this is a susupicious action" after constantly saying that I was taking that action? do you think that if I was an Elim I would say I actually didn't take that action which seems to be half of your reasoning here in the first place? So you stole my chalk. Got it. ... in all seriousness, if you think Elim!you wouldn't do it because it would attract too much suspicion, I'm struggling to see why Village!you would. Maybe that's just me. I can believe that you didn't put an action in, but I'm not sure about the intent behind it. But that wasn't my main point anyway. What would you want me to do with it? I noted it? not everything I do has to make sense to you for me to do it, that's not on my checklist that I check before...doing anything. right now that checklist has one box, and right next to that box it says "do I really wanna say this?" and like, i definitely have ignored that checklist more than once. Yeah it's my job to try and get yall to understand what I'm doing, but it's your job to try and understand as well :P. not for me to explain. and explain. and explain. while you're stuck in a tunnel so dark you can't see my explanations. Illwei: *Places bait* Ash: *Takes bait* Illwei: "Noted" ...? It's your bait. What are you baiting me into? Voting you? I find this sentence completely irrelevant. If i take out parts of what you say, I could frame you to look suspicious. I gave the reasoning, and you don't get to just ignore it because I didn't respond to you right away. Perhaps you could. But from my point of view I didn't "take out parts", the parts didn't exist. That's not framing, that's at best a misunderstanding because you left me with no way of reading your intentions. A 'misunderstanding' that you left sitting for 24 hours. That is what my argument boils down to. This will probably be my last big post on this for a while, I need to do homework. Edit: Oh. Right. Did Illwei mention keeping the Vigor Book out of Elim hands? Because I really... cannot parse this besides that Illwei did say she wanted Vigor. She said that in thread. I want to know if she mentioned why to anyone.

Okay, let's see here. [1] Explaination 1. "I wanted to grab vigor so the elims wouldn't have it ya know " :). [2] See QF50 and the GM spreadsheet >> My main problem is that "explanation" didn't come into the thread until over 24 hours after you said you couldn't see why a Villager should have it. Are you trying to... use you forgetting actions in the QF to show you could forget actions here? That... makes some level of sense, but also no. For one thing, double the time. For another, you repeatedly stated your intentions. But... eh. Sure. Uh, yeah they do??? I like, explicitly answered the questions you asked? Q1. "If you only wanted Vigor so the Elims couldn't, knowing your own Villageness, why didn't you submit an action?" > A. "because I'm an idiot" - An idiot, who didn't submit her actions. Q2. "If you didn't submit an action, why did you half-accuse Books of taking "your" Vigor Book?" > A. "To see how people would react" - like you are rn. see: 'fish, bait' Q3. "And why didn't you mention either when I asked during the night?" > A. "because night" - Er, okay this one needed more probably :P. it was night, and I didn't wanna talk about it til the cycle was over really. I wanted to see who died. and. unfortunately no one did. :P. Let me rephrase. These are quite unsatisfying explanations . To put it simply, I don't really believe you. I remember LG69, and I'm getting a very similar vibe of I don't know what Illwei is doing but it's not good here. So I was hunting for a continuation of the reasoning and that was just... not enough to be helpful. 1) Maybe. That's not really provable either way. There's a little suspicion that you just said that as an attempt to push away your past intentions of grabbing the book - your exact words weren't "forgot to" but "ended up not" - but that's tinfoiling even for me. 2) Well, I reacted, and you did absolutely nothing with it during the night. Then both I and Archer pointed out things you said last cycle (with Striker playing both), and both times you stated that the things that we were suspicious of were "baiting". Well, to continue the bad fishing analogy, you cast your bait, we fish bit, and then... you just let the line out more? You didn't do anything with it that I can see. Which makes me very nervous that you're just saying that you were baiting as an attempt to move suspicion away. 3) ... this is something I see people doing, but I don't really get at all. Why? Why are you and people in general scared to talk about suspicions during the night? Because to me it just seemed that without a vote to pressure that you weren't going to say anything, and I was quite worried that if I died then no one would push the issue and you would just let it be in the past. Lmao archer be like: No one is allowed to naked vote on me! Illwei: Naked votes Archer Ash: Illwei that vote is suspicious ??? :P. More so suspicious in that Illwei voting Archer there makes... too much sense. He's suspicious of you, you're suspicious of him, and I believe he has a few votes from other people as well. A perfect vote for self-preservation or even in complaint of poor reasoning. And yet, you did it in such a nonsensical way. I guess what I'm saying is is that you had plenty of actual reason to vote Archer, but did it (or made it look like) a joke. Yeah shouldn't be irrelevant to you. different stance in thread? kinda looks like that ig, but like, also not really? I can't be objective on myself because I"m me, ofc, but like - Illwei goes after Vigor book - Illwei tells people to not take her vigor book - Illwei goes after books for taking the vigor book because that's an Elim thing to do, and explains she wanted to take it to make sure Elims didn't I don't see the contradictions. I don't. and if for some reason you think I came up with the whole "haha i took it so Elims couldn't!" when you thought i was like caught or something, I should have two PMs, funnily enough the two other people actually voting on me, that have me stating reasoning early D1. The problem is, the bolded part was told twenty-four hours later than the rest, far after I had already started pushing for an explanation. Take that part out, and the contradiction is obvious. At least, obvious to those not involved in PMs where you may or may not have discussed this plan. Which would include me. And so far nothing you've said in PMs has come up in thread. That, and I'm rather suspicious of Archer and Striker as well. Striker more a potential teammate, Archer more gut. So I'm not sure if I would take either at their word if they now came and said "oh yeah Illwei said that she had reasons for going for Vigor a while ago". Plus the fact that the more you discuss that you're going to take a specific action, the more it looks worse for you that you didn't take it... Still, it can't hurt. @Archer, @StrikerEZ, can you confirm that Illwei mentioned to you that she intended to grab the Book of Vigor to keep it out of the hands of the Elims "early D1"? Like I said, I can't tell what you're doing. I'm not good at reading your alignment, but I can usually figure out your intentions. I couldn't in LG69. I can't now. So... intentionally? Probably not. But maybe. Thanks for responding. I should do this tinfoily ISO more often... it's fun. Not the type of chaotic I was looking for, but perhaps the type of chaotic I needed.

You’re the only one who’s claimed using Forbiddence... The entire point of me saying that an Elim may have asked the question is that everyone’s assuming someone else used Forbiddence. I think any Villager who did would probably feel safe claiming so. So yes, I believe you were attacked last night. Unless anyone wants to step forward to contest that.

... oh. Right. Still, I haven't heard anything about it from PMs. It's also possible an Elim asked that question, confused on whether you used Forbiddance or that someone managed to roleblock them. Seeing as I've heard nothing about a roleblock, I'm assuming the first. Either that or the Elims decided not to submit a kill, which I could see them doing in one scenario. ... I need to be more chaotic.

Hmm. Let's see, then. (Take two) Day 1: Night 1: Day 2: In short, Illwei, if you've explained yourself here I don't see it. It really feels like you deflected the issue and then counted that as explaining it. Well, I don't get it. Can you show me where in here you've explained? I will say, looking through here, that I feel at least one or probably two of Mat, Illwei, Striker, and Archer have to be evil.

You never gave me a straight answer. You’ve given “baiting” and “I forgot” as replacements for explanations far too many times for my liking. ...I tried to quote that and somehow highlighted the entire thing, and then my phone started reading it at the speed of sound and that’s my headcannon for how Illwei sounds now.

Mainly I took Revocation because of me going for the Shadowblaze. One less person who can steal it from me. And if someone else ends up with it I can take it back. That, and I don't want anyone else to have it. Elims stealing guns and wind-up-toys and things would be frustrating. Elims stealing Shadowblazes would be more frustrating. Will I use the Revocation? Maybe I need to fill my chaos quota somehow. But feel free to watch me if you're worried I'm going to start disappearing lanterns.

I could see Illwei-Mat. I don't think Quinn's tied enough to them to really be added as a third, though. It could just be that she thought no one would start with other specializations because hers wasn't available. Of course, Mat being bad would be rather unhealthy for me. And I've got a stronger bead on Illwei. ... how do you "kind of hard-claim"? Isn't hard claiming just coming out and saying "I am [role]"?

I’m more suspicious of the switch from Illwei wanting Vigor (and semi-complaining at Books for taking it) to suddenly saying there was “no reason for a Villager to take vigor”. And then dancing around the issue when I tried in my chaotic way to push it. @Illwei I got the Dannex counter going a good while after Illwei voted. A lot of people (Striker and Burnt vocally) seemed hesitant about killing either Mat or Gears along with me. I just made an alternate - which is perhaps something that I do too often. I did mention my opinion on killing neither in the massive group PM that Illwei decided to make, so Illwei... could have planted that as a seed? But I still took it, and I’m village, so that isn’t really much of a factor in suspicions of Illwei. I’m also going to go look at what Archer said about Illwei-Connie, at some point. I’m a little suspicious of him grabbing the Bribe, but he did actually contribute a good bit D1.

Gut reads because I have a lingering suspicion that someone's going to stab me N1: Evil: Illwei (refusing to explain shifting super-Vigor stance) Maybe Evil: Ventyl (vote), Alvron (if he's doing what I suspect he's doing), Archer (why Bribe?), Striker (gut) Dirty Chalk Snatchers: Lotus, STINK, Reading, Random Bystander Null: Quinn (move to Evil if I die), Matrim, Books, et al Maybe Good: Gears, TJ Shade, Kas, Connie Good: Devotary I'm probably not going to do my kill analysis this game, because while it works it also really doesn't, and LG's don't have as much rush to decide a kill. So if you're planning on killing me before I preemptively find 3/4 of the Elims... please don't. I'd hate to lose the Shadowblaze due to being dead.

They contradict each other. Explain your reasoning please. I also claimed going for a Book with 30 minutes left in the turn. Books are immediately consumed, so the Thief or Revoker wouldn’t get it any. So no, I have no idea why someone took my chalk. Maybe I’m lying about it as part of a deal with the Thief or so people won’t suspect I’m Revoking them tonight. Spoiler, I’m not, but I wouldn’t depend your entire invesigations upon me after I’ve clearly stated I’m here for chaos and Shadowblazes. Anyway, I could have lost it to an Elim, could have lost it to a thief, could have lost it to a Villager. I’ll spend some time figuring out which. Until then, I’m looking at Illwei.

If a Village Revoker is so sure of a bad read on me from me accomplishing essentially nothing except preventing Mat from being exed, then I doubt they are considering the potential waste of the Village Net Chalk. They spend a chalk, they gain a chalk. They still have chalk. I have no chalk. If you want to talk about implications, respond to the post where I quoted you three times.

It’s not really a “waste” of chalk if it’s specialized Revocation, as they’d now have my chalk. It just means that I don’t get any.

"Sounds like a good plan," Poller said. He didn't really have any idea about what it all... meant... but Aln sounded like she knew what she was talking about. "Do you think we should go to the hospital now, or see if we can pick up some more... combative people? It doesn't sound like any of us really work well with "dangerous", and... I can't use Stormlight like you two." If I get hit by a Shardblade, I'm dead. Poller shuddered... and then something happened. Flashes. A bolter. Suits of armor. A silver blade swinging down... Oh, Rusts. Had he died in the Seven Day War? No. He had to believe... no. "I'm more... if we need to do this and now, let's do it. But I think we're going to need all the help we can get. Preferably help that comes with a suit of Shardplate." @mathiau
