Basically the only reason that you were to be the only surviving villager in the event of an elim victory is because I thought you could be be the Thug because I blocked you and nothing happened
-
Hmm? I mean I agree with Joe, in that we don't want a tie, but I also don't think Gears is an elim and am not changing my vote to him. He's far ahead and it isn't necessary atm. His flip would give a lot of information- but I'd rather keep him alive.
-
Ah. I find myself agreeing with this. We do need a single target, and his flip would show us a lot. That being said, I still don't plan on changing my vote.

Kaladin's book: Eshonai on the cover Shallan's book: Kaladin on the cover Dalinar's book: Jasnah on the cover Eshonai/Venli's book: Shallan on the cover Hmmmmmmm...

I think it's confirmed to be Eshonai. I'll try to figure out where I remember seeing that.

Eh, what the heck. Reads List! Gears- I firmly stand by my belief that his elim claim was NAI, and am therefore opposed to lynching him for it. That being said, I prefer a lynch over no lynch and if Gears is the one to go, at least we'd get info. Mild village Xino- Not much here, one of the Gears lynch supporters C1, then seemingly forgot about him to vote Araris for causing a tie. This could be useful later, depending on the flips of Araris/Gears. Though since I disagree with the Gears lynch and the reasoning for the Araris vote, Slight elim. Largely gut. Silber- Never anything here :P. I've given up on tagging him to join the discussion, and he's an always fated Null Vapor- Surprisingly, I am leaning more village on Vapor than before. She voted Gears right as she thought the cycle was ending, which wouldn't have been necessary had she been an elim and the cycle actually was ending for that mislynch, and it only would've served to cast suspicion on her. If Gears is village, that vote makes more sense for village!Vapor. If Gears is an elim, that vote makes more sense for village!Vapor. Slight village Elkanah- Agreed with Elk on Araris probably not being an elim. Null leaning slight village Illwei- My vote is already on Illwei, see earlier reasons where I voted him page 1. I disagree on his reasoning for his Vapor vote. Vapor does do that a lot, but she's only ever been village, so it would fit that nothing's changed. Voting on someone who's going to die isn't a good reason, true, but elim!Vapor wouldn't have done that, as it's far too risky in that situation when Gears would flip village. Mild elim Sart- Strong advocate of Gears lynch, with STINK. I'm inclined that both are village, but also that they're reading way too much into his 'claim'. Null Sorana- Seems genuine, with replies to others and reasoning. Slight village Matrim's Dice- Hmm, I wonder. Strong village Joe- An original anti-Gears, but hasn't revisited that. Could be a villager relaxing, or an elim realizing they've attracted too much suspicion on the Gears train. Null leaning very slight elim STINK- Strong advocate of Gears lynch, with Sart. I'm inclined that both are village, but also that they're reading way too much into his 'claim'. Null Araris- I agree with Elk that Araris wouldn't have caused the tie as an elim. Mild village tl;dr: Village: Gears, Vapor, Elk(slight), Sorana, Matrim, Araris Null: Silber, Sart, STINK Elim: Xino(slight), Illwei, Joe(very slight)

xD oh yeah. I went on QF mode for a second there. Sorry about that. Feel free not to vote immediately...

Looks like Gears is dead. Hmm. Edit: @Straw
-
Geez, I don't want to see Gears lynched. I also don't want a tie- so instead of switching my vote, I'll tag the people who haven't to see if we can do something about the lack of votes in the last little bit. Sorry I lost track of time, otherwise this would've been posted an hour ago... @Gears @Lord_Silberfarben @Vapor @Elkanah @Illwei @Sorana @A Joe in the Bush, vote as you may. But you probably should. Edit: Sorry to Straw in advance for the probable late votes...

I made that list D4, and posted the original version of it. Believe me, if I had survived you would've been before or right after Ash Indeed it was. Night, all! Thanks for the game, GM's!
-
Explanation accepted the game was fun, regardless. Yeah, said panic is a lot more prevalent in the elim doc, as I was free to say whatever there... Thanks, regardless. oh- @Ashbringer, first, do you have a chemistry background, and second, what info did you have on Mint?
-
Told you Since I've already dumped everything into the end of the last thread, I have no further statements, except to ask @The_God_King and @Elkanah what in the world that distribution was

grumble grumble GRUMBLE. Farns sighed, staring up at the ceiling. Mother Ashyn would be unhappy. He and the other two infiltrators had worked so hard to receive a position as an intern, only to be so hasty as to waste the opportunity less than a week into the mission. The other interns would come for him soon. He was sure of it. He flexed his hands, wincing at the arthritis that was a result of living on the diseased planet of Ashyn. He had severely underestimated the intern’s espionage prowess. Now he paid for that mistake. (Prewritten) Well, well, well. Looks like a pretty darn good game for the villagers- well played guys. I had hoped I could clutch this… but didn’t find it likely. You all proved me right, and for that I give you my congratulations, not only for that, but for breaking Straw’s elim win rate of 100% Speaking of which, uh, sorry Straw Anyway, since I’m obviously doomed, I figured I’d info-dump you all with everything I know right before the game ends. Because why not? I’ll be honest, I don’t know what tipped all y’all off about me so early in the game, C1, even. Not sure what I did differently As it should be clear by now, I am in fact the final eliminator. Why, you ask, only three? No clue. We figured D1 that there was some mechanic, either village disease deaths, or conversion, that would give us an advantage from a 3 person team- but nope. Nothing. Still wondering why. Not to mention all the scanners. Would like the GM’s to tell me why they included that distribution with the 3 person team. Anyway, Devotary submitted the first few kills, until Sart caught her. The interesting thing is, that her Medical background was used to heal Straw just in time. Remember that role Devotary claimed? The scanner that dies in 3 days? She didn’t make that up. Straw had that role. We assumed villagers did too, and we’d get a few free deaths. Nope. He would’ve died if Devotary hadn’t healed him. But she did, before getting lynched, so we breathed out a little bit. Then Straw submitted the kill, as I was expected to roleblock. That didn’t go so great either. But I’m sure you’re all wondering: How did Straw end the game with vote manip? (He totally made up the Mechanics background, by the way. It was my idea) Well, here is the answer to that. On Ashyn, us infiltrators are known as ‘incubators’. We have diseases that give us powers. Now, you all caught them- but since we are the source, we can incubate- giving us a new disease. So Straw incubated, received vote manip, and promptly was scanned to death. Then of course I was just suspected. And that was that, despite my best defenseless-villager imitation (Hi, Kasimir ) Anyway, GG everyone. Fun game, interesting mechanics, excited to read the full ruleset later, and the spec doc. See y’all in another game sometime I'm happy to answer any further questions in the soon-to-be-up Aftermath Those scan results were actually true with the exception of Lotus's. I forgot that I didn't 'suspect' her anymore. PS: I outlined a plan for lynch/kill to get me to win D4. Here it is, and while I only got through step one, you can now know when I chose you to die :P: N4- Kill Lotus D5- Lynch Araris N5- Kill Kas D6- Lynch Illwei N6- Kill Ash D7- Lynch Lahilt N7- Kill Elan D8- Lynch Vapor N8- Kill TJ D9- Lynch Mint Aftermath- Elim Win
-
TELL ME ABOUT IT @Illwei scan is from bg. Scan results: I have scanned Pyro, Sart, and Lotus, in that order. I got the ability D2. The first two took no actions, and I targeted them before any claims/they did anything, and Lotus targeted Straw, which we already knew. Unfortunately, this doesn't prove much, but I hope it's something. Last post of the cycle, possible the game (for me). Cya, I hope not...
-
Man I wish there was something I could do. Nope. I have a history background- yes, @Kasimir, another one, which doesn't have any helpful action for me. And I can't even vote in self preservation, since that's where I am atm. Matrim’s Dice (5): TJ Shade, Frozen Mint, Illwei, Ashbringer, Lahilt Lahilt (3): Matrim’s Dice, Araris Valerian, Kasimir @Elandera, @StrikerEZ, @Vapor, do you take pity on this villager? I ask for your support in these final moments.

Well. Adding to discussion would help.

I dislike how Straw went after Lotus then, because that prompted me to as well, because they were my top suspicion at that time when the accusations on Devotary didn't have any proof of anything, (Sart's claim was after that) and I thought Lotus was more likely an elim based on the reasoning I saw. That changed when Sart claimed, but I didn't change my read on Lotus- until she exposed Straw. Now I'm annoyed I pushed her so hard, because it's throwing shade on me for following my suspicions... ah well. @Ashbringer, @Elandera, @Illwei, @Vapor, @Lahilt, @StrikerEZ, I would prefer if you would vote sometime soon (hint: before 5 minutes before the turn ends). I don't like the tie, or the lack of votes at this point, and whether I'm gonna die or not I'd like to know. Don't wanna be hammered, even by other villagers. By which I mean voted on a bunch right at the end.
-
Hmm. I'm not liking the feeling I'm getting from Illwei right now. As I've said before, they slightly suspected Elandera, and myself, with little reasoning. Then this post: Where they say they think the votes on Vapor are more concerning, and then going on to confirm that they are a poke vote (which turned into a half-reasoned vote), bandwagon votes that 'seem fine', and a self preservation vote, which are basically the same as the votes on Gears. The votes on Gears include: A half-reasoned vote, a lot of bandwagon votes, and a self preservation vote. So the reasonings and votes for those two are nearly identical, and Gears's train picked up more speed than Vapor's, which I find more concerning. So, Illwei, consider yourself suspected, for those reasons, plus a bit of gut feeling in there as well.
-
Am I the only one who feels like that cycle went really fast? Things worth mentioning about Elan: They were suspicious of Vapor and not suspicious of Gears Illwei slightly suspected them They should've used their action Also, as Xino just mentioned, Araris made the lynch tie. Which is different than usual. Agreed on Illwei about the slight suspicion there, and letting it sit.
-
Pretty sure it's not really hidden. Just no character besides Hoid has been there.

Can you change the title so it's not a spoiler? But I believe so, yes
