  3. Ok, now we can discuss the game. Technically there's still over 24 hours in this cycle, so we didn't miss a thing. I looked over Jester's posts. They were the first to vote Somebody and the first to unvote Somebody. XP followed, a confirmed village, and Kings. Here is Jester's read post from before they died, which I'll analyze in accordance with my own reads: It makes me suspicious. It's possible Illwei-Somebody is a bus attempt, but it seems a little too obvious. Still a little sus for the reasons I mentioned in my D1 post. King: Switched vote a lot because they said were trying to prevent a double lynch. Mild sus. Somebody: Was mildly suspicious during the first day, but I let them off because they were new. Their accusations this round were a little strange, and they were behaving weirdly the whole time. They also accused me based on false information, which I may be willing to forgive as an honest mistake. They're vote on Illwei is also weird. If Illwei flips village, or if his claim about Somebody PMing him is confirmed, Somebody is very sus. Condensation: Not much to go on. Abstaining from the vote could be taken a few ways. Very mild sus. Matrim: Defended me and King against Somebody, which could be a pocket attempt but I think it was too subtle for that. For now, I'm going to vote Somebody. I'm not against voting Illwei, though, especially if Somebody provides a good argument for Illwei's claimed PM. Reading: I dunno if that makes him less suspicious as the opposite happened. I don't think so. Null+ largely for activity Illwei: That's interesting... @Illwei, while I don't think you're an elim, what did you mean by 'Somebody said they saw me as village'? Does 'saw' mean scanned, or does it mean read? Slight Village for sense, activity, and gut Kings: @Kings_way, you were the last one to jump on the train for Somebody. And you voted me last cycle for no good reason, and didn't retract. I would've expected you to vote Somebody again. And while you did prevent a double lynch, the elims have lots of reasons to do that too. Namely, avoiding suspicion. Slight elim due to Jester's flip, those reasons, and a pinch of gut. Condensation: Disagree here... Slight village for the dreaded PM reasons. Not much I can say otherwise Matrim: Haha I wish I was that clever (Though I will note that I'm not sure 'defended' is the right word. I just told Somebody that his reasons for suspecting them were unfounded, not that there weren't any to being with)... Village That leaves me with a vote on Kings_way. Let's get this cycle rolling!
  4. “Hello!” Philico said. “Happy Halloween! Would you like a piece or two?” The kid reached in, and when he touched it the picture was ruined. Hordelings spilled out and the crowd screamed. Philico laughed, as the girl from earlier emerges with the real candy. “Happy Halloween!”
  5. Philico smiles, an idea beginning to form. “You go find it. I’ll distract them, and stay in the spooky spirit!” Philico grabs a bowl off the table and moves some hordelings inside, changing them to look like as if the bowl was full of candy. He put on a nice face and walked toward the door, which he was surprised hadn’t broken from all the knocking.
  6. Philico looks around wildly. “Where’s the candy? Someone get the candy!”
  7. Philico looks at the decorated house, happy the day had finally arrived. They had finished cleaning just in time. “Say...” he said, remembering something. “Wasn’t there that whole crowd of kids we told to come back on Halloween?”
  8. See that’s kinda funny because Somebody wanted us to pay attention to Jester... I’ll investigate Jester’s reads when I’m not on mobile, possibly tomorrow. Happy Halloween everyone! @Kings_way, I’d like some form of a reads list from you, if you would.
  9. So what are the factions? Can any of the roles have more than one in the game? Are any faction-specific? Does this mean that a Figment can target someone and figure out who has a PM with them? What would the point of not counting elims be? So this means that they can vote double once (or vote on two separate people?), and then can't for the rest of the game? That seems underpowered to me, if you only want them to use the power once I think they just can use it once, but still vote normal. Slightly overpowered imo, though it could be balanced around. What does 'one-way PM's' mean? So that's an alignment scanner, not a role scanner? If all the roles are faction specific it's essentially the same thing. So they're the only one who can submit kills? If they die, the elims basically lose, I would change this. Oh, I see... though how does the village win if there's an immune elim? If they kill the krell the elims have a guaranteed win, and that's a problem. How long does this last for? If it's permanent, once per game is probably better.
  10. Yes THANK YOU I 100% FORGOT ABOUT THIS
  11. RP means nothing when it comes to reads. Anything that might have been implied doesn't have relevance to actual alignments. And yeah, don't put votes like that... I don't really see how... it's just a PM, right? ...Or, @Illwei, when you say 'saw' do you mean that he just thinks you're village or that he scanned you as village? Because the latter definitely is a big claim to make.

  13. When you're considering learning to sew just so you can have a rusting mistcloak.
  14. Okay... but I asked why you were suspicious of Illwei. See that's interesting because it diminishes your 'new player' rating quite a bit... which you discarded anyway :P.
  15. Daziron chuckled in his throat. Perhaps these recruits did have in them what it took to be a Ghostblood. They certainly were brave enough. Or foolhardy enough. Did this girl not understand what she was talking to? "I am called Daziron, an ancient name with much meaning. Singer children know my name. That one back there, perhaps." The dullform behind him confused Daziron most of all. Why was he unresponsive? Perhaps dullform was why he was unresponsive. Daziron never had to knew what that was like, thankfully. Hoping to be done with the conversation, Daziron turned his back to the girl, but didn't leave. He didn't need to. She was the one who had intruded; she was the one who needed to leave. Okay, I guess a different coloration could work for that. But can you explain what about Illwei you find suspicious? I don't know where that is coming from and don't really agree. (Also, did you say that you've played Mafia somewhere else?) Typically 'jumping onto trains' is reserved as an elim term xD But if you think he's suspicious enough to warrant a vote. They're not permanent, and don't mean too much early on. Pretty sure they don't bite.
  16. What turtle train? I think this was meant for the LG... If that’s a vote, it needs to be red... If you’ve already voted and it’s a retraction it needs to be green. I can’t remember.
  17. Also, https://coppermind.net/ is a good thing to browse for quick definitions of those terms, if you're into doing that. It can really feel like an infodump.
  18. I'd argue that it's the opposite way around. The later voters are the ones jumping on the train; Jester had no idea others would join him (unless it was an elim plot, which thanks to XP we already know it isn't, at least with all three of them) Typically, especially early on, elims look for easy trains to jump on. It's more risky for them to initiate a mislynch, but again, it's D1, when that's the easiest... Sorry for that rabbit hole. Ahem. Lemme work through this comma-less sentence and then I can reply... Ok, I do think that it is odd, or at least the way it happened was. I pointed out that it was odd last cycle. But now that one is proven village, I'm hesitant to run with that as my main line of thought. I am still watching Kings and Jester, though. Also I don't really think their reason for voting you or their reason for unvoting you was odd. They let you go because you were a new player... that's pretty standard. I'm not because I think it's reached the point where it's not a good enough excuse anymore. Interesting theory. @JesterLavorre @Kings_way?
  19. As previously stated, Experience is dead. You even voted on Experience iirc... Feeling better about Kings, but maybe that’s just a mild guilt for incorrectly jumping on him. Jester’s votes were kinda weird but they were the first. He didn’t jump on the train, but started it. And I fail to see how their roles have anything to do with that :P. I get you’re a new player but at some point that isn’t a good excuse anymore. I’ll kick off the votes today with Somebody.
  20. Pretty much my whole basis on finding Kings suspicious was founded on something that wasn't true. The 'this' you mentioned actually is a very normal response to what I did, not a suspicious one. Daziron curled his marbled lip, wondering why these... humans wished to speak with him. He made no move to lower to the ground to take the girl's hand and instead said "What do you want, girl? I have existed for eons more than you. Chances are I have seen it."
