He’s my favorite too! My favorite character ever, actually. Though Raoden falls close behind. When you said “Aladin soundtrack” my head totally changed it to “Kaladin soundtrack”

“Oh, me? I’d... love to, one day. But for now I think we’d better stay with the group, to fight off bad guys and all. Besides, it’ll give me time to practice my french!” Hentient slings her bag over her shoulder, but then quickly realizes no one has made plans to leave yet, and let’s it slide off again.
-
"Um... Yeah. I like plans. They make me comfortable. I try to have plans for everything, but obviously I can't, so here I am." Hentient looks up from her conversation, seeing the various people standing around the cave. Some chatting mindlessly, some standing alone. As Hentient watches the people mingling, the rain pounding outside starts to clear up.

Hentient chuckles a little. She can feel her anxiety slipping away. For some reason, talking is helping. "I can... Plan well! I've got all these bad babies saved up" Hentient says as she pats her messenger bag fondly. "And you never know, one day a handstand could be very useful."

Hello! We are glad you’re here! Who’s your favorite character so far?

I don’t run, but I really want to. I joined XC at my highschool freshman year. Little did I know that we are one of the best/fastest high schools in the country (freshman year I think we were in the top 50? Maybe it was top 10, I don’t remember exactly). Needless to say, it was very intimidating. Most of the girls had been running their whole lives, and I got beaten down and discouraged really quickly. I don’t have a treadmill, and I’m embarrassed running in my neighborhood since most of my neighbors are fellow students that know I’m slow. Ill get there one day. Until then, I’m awe over you guys.

I don't play civ6, but I think it looks great!

"Ha. Thats a negative. I'm not... The outgoing type. I barley made to this cave without freaking out." Well I did freak out, but Hentient decides not to include that little fact "I'm... Well, im only here cause I thought I could help, but with all these epics now it doesn't seem like normal people like us can do much. Ya know?"

Exactly! I’ve always hoped someone’s boon would be bonding the nightwatcher, and that’s the best scenario I’ve heard so far. Long story short, Rlain nightsmith is my new favorite thing.

Does this exist? I feel like it already does somewhere. Oh well. When they put traffic lines on sidewalks. Ya know like a yellow dotted line? That makes me happy.

"I was gonna tell them about the headache, sore throat, puss, vomiting, and everything else, but ya know, what if I'm just a pussy?" *person sitting next to me slowly scoots away* whats the worst thing to say to you're Uber driver? Ninjad I think? Sorry fillet.

Imprisonment/semi-defeat of Odium does feel like the only way to continue the series. There’s no real way to defeat Odium (splinter/kill) that I can think of without getting really cosmere heavy in the second half, and while SA has been the most cosmere heavy book so far, I think Brandon is saving that for dragonsteel. So, I’m not sure how the first half is going to wrap up at all I do think though that in the second half, there’s gonna be a lot more of Ashyn and Braise. I’m hoping the main characters will be able to go to the other planets in the system, Ashyn specifically. That way we can actually see what those planets were like. (Though now that I think about it, Brandon was planning to write a book set on Ashyn with a disease based magic system right? So we probably won’t get much Ashyn screen time, if any). So really, I have no ideas.

Hentient tenses at the sound of footsteps coming toward her. A girl sits down next to her, one of the epics maybe? The girl doesn’t say anything, so Hentient stays quiet. She’s about to go back to her thoughts, but something stops her. She has to practice normal conversation sometime, right? Why not start now? Slowly, Hentient sets down her bag, resisting the urge to rifle through her papers. ”So... you’re an epic, right? What’s you’re power? That’s is, if you don’t mind me asking. Actually you don’t have to answer that I’m probably being rude somehow and-” She cuts off before she can embarrass herself, blushing.

Nah, I’ve got plenty of knobweed sap all saved up. It was close there for a little though. -

*reminds myself to take a deep breath and not get offended at some of these as I have unpopular opinions aswell* I don’t like Navani, I didn’t trust her book 1 and that festered into plain dislike. -
Okay, it’s a good theory, and totally could happen, but I’ve got a personal hope that keeps me from buying into it. I really don’t want taravangian to have a comeback arch. I don’t know if that’s what you’d even call it, since he thinks what he’s doing is right, but regardless, I don’t want it to happen. One other thing that makes me hesitant is that Taravangian has already been to see the nightwatcher (though he ended up seeing cultivation of course), and again from a story telling perspective, I think it’ll be someone who’s been previously untouched by her. I would like to see Taravangian bond the sibling though. Now Rlain as the Nightsmith? That’s something I can get behind. Imagine him tired of being ignored, just wanting to be like everyone else, so he goes to seek the old magic. While he’s there, he bonds the nightwatcher. I think it’d be cool.

I agree, growing takes pain. Living with your pain, accepting it, and learning from it. That’s a lot of the reason these books are so powerful to me, because they show that part of growth. They show the mistakes and the hurt and they make it real. And more importantly, they show that healing takes time. Kaladin has gotten better, and he’s gotten worse, and that’s okay. A lot of books I read skip past that part of the story.

I suppose I could allow that Also, happy birthday!!!
