"I've killed a god or two. And you're going to need all the help you can get. If we can contact Prime I bet we can even outright defeat her." Realization dawns on his face. "Wait. Is it you she's after? Did you release something while you were hunting down Winter?"

Vale stares up at Nath, unflinching. "If she's in danger it's my fault. I'm coming with you." @Nathrangking

"Humans, I know you like to fight, but... I think we need to run." Alvyer is going to try to run back into the shelves and the library proper (I hope I understood the floor plan like)

Azrael is holding himself up on the ice, barely. His face is white under his scales and he's still injured. But he still looks willing to fight all of you. Pluto runs up the stairs, a spill of blood down his neck the only sign of damage on him. "What are you doing, we need to go.?" He sees all of you, then Silence's unconscious body in the corner. He growls, then leaps over the ice and picks Silence and the man they were carrying out up in one hand each. "A, come with me. We'll leave these Dusters alive for now. We have our quarry." He grabs Azrael's arm and pulls him off the ice, and they run down the hall and out of sight.

Azrael parries both with his sword and slashes at Lloyd. His momentum on the ice carries him into Lloyd.

Azrael knocks aside the dagger going at his face, and there's a clang of the dagger hitting his armor. He pushes off the wall, clumsily sliding towards Lloyd with his sword readied for a strike.

"I think you're right. I could see a tear for a split second but it was sealed back up after just a moment."

Azrael's Veil breaks and he snarls at Lloyd, revealing snake-like fangs. He throws him to the side with supernatural strength and grabs at his fallen weapon.

Well, he wouldn't be escaping outside. There were other things out there, probably ones even scarier than whatever this was. There was too much going on in here. There were these wolfish things prowling the room A human drawing in chalk on the floor This strange armored... thing, walking towards them A rope in a cloak And of course, more humans All Alvyer could think to do was to try and find another way out. He looked around for another exit to the library, making sure to keep his gun trained on the Executor. It obviously wasn't very scared of the gun, but there were cracks in its armor where he could maybe get a shot through if it got too close to him.

Azrael, who apparently can't catch a break, falls to the ice again. He grits his teeth against the fear. He's felt worse.

"Fast chart. Is it worth chasing them to get the... whatever it was back?"

As Cadenza rises, Silence turns around, and his caught off guard by her attack. One of the attacks is caught by the Veil, but the other goes through, slicing through her upper arm. She falls and hits her head on the ice.

Azrael, who was going forward carefully towards Cadenza and Silence, topples over and his Veil starts to falter.

@Enter a username Vale creates the reality model again, searching for a new tear.

Cadenza can hear Silence, breathless, say "Azrael, pick him up. We have to go." It's obvious she's very strained. "Great. I'll meet you guys there." Jay runs off in the direction the others went.

Silence slips and falls again. Seeing Cadenza rushing at her, she thrusts her arms out in a panic. Cadenza is overcome with a huge rush of emotions, but one rises out the most (You get to pick, whatever you feel most defines her)

"I need to tell Prime about this once we get out of here."

Azrael parries both strikes, but the momentum makes him slide on the ice away from Silence, who's trying to stand up using the wall.

"One of us needs to go find the others, Cadenza, Lloyd, and the other lady. You can either help Aryanna out so I can go look or go look yourself. But we need to go quick." He points with his free hand at Eris, who's trying to get one of her wings out from under a cinder block.
