    Vapor blinks, her eyes starting to well up. "Dad?" She shudders slightly at Aridith's breath on her ear. At the vision, Vapor stares in wonder.

    "The pickles are done!"

    Vapor smiled slightly, tucking the paper into her pocket carefully. In front of her, the king and his guards were conversing. They seemed to have reached a decision, and a holed spoke. "Due to the fact that this man did not commit any crime, and that the king is feeling merciful, we will allow this man to go back to his group." The guards pushed Jek back to his spot. Vapor leaned over. "You don't owe me anymore," she whispered. "Thank you."

    Vapor edges slowly towards Jek. When she is next to him, she grabs the paper from his hand and uncrinkles it. It reads: The king is an unstable man; be careful what you say around him, or even around his servants. I only hope that someday our daughter will find the truth. Vapor stares at it for a moment. "What does that mean?" she whispers.

    Jek opens one of the hands behind his back to show a paper crumpled in his hand. It appears to have writing on it, but the penmanship is messy and small, so it is unreadable from his distance. A guard grabs the paper and shows it to he king.

    Jek looks back for a second. This mistake costs him, and the guards catch up and grab his arms forcefully. They shove him towards the king.

    Jek suddenly bolted to the door with something in his hand. Multiple holed chased after him.
