Eric grabs her and runs to the lab, both of them slung over his shoulder.

Eric takes the gemstone and stops Herate. "Wait. I'm faster. Do you want to come, T?"

Eric yells after T. "Here she is!"

"No! Herate don't go." Spin yells. Eric folds his arms. "I can tell that a newcomer to the group is coming this way."

"Just wait," Eric said. "They'll be here in a minute, coming to rescue us, and then we'll be forced to hurt them."
