Vapor straightens up. "Maybe I am surprised. I was just asked to fight in a war with my apparently powerful mindscape powers. I know what this necklace is, and maybe I don't know the exact threat, but I know you need my help. Could you tell me what she intends to do?"

Aryanna pulled her cloak off. "I'll look suspicious with a cloak on here," she said. "And apparently Lloyd's the only one of the Talon here, so there's no reason to keep it on."
