Vapor had cut a branch awkwardly to make a makeshift bow and was experimenting with it. I have no idea what I’m doing, she thought. As she missed another bird, she tossed down the bow and sighed. Maybe I could get some sleep and then try again. She covered herself with leaves and closed her eyes, hoping to wake in the morning.
