She'd found Nicolae, Arabella, and Katie, as well as a few other waitresses she thought she was close enough to to break the news. Wendy swallowed all the emotions that kept bubbling up at the edge of her throat, trying to keep her voice as collected as possible so that she could just get this over with.

"Hey, um, I--" Her voice immediately caught. Wonderful. "I..."

Katie blinked at her innocently. "Yeah?"

"I'm, uhh..." Wendy grabbed her shoulder. Just send it. "Pregnant."

She scoffed. "Isn't that a little childish for your little whor-" The cook turned around and cut off. "Oh."

"Little what?" Ara asked, sipping her juice.

"Let's go!" yelled Ara.

"Don't do that!" said Ara, running after her.

"Why?" Ara pouted.

"Let's go get some!"

"Well then we should go there!"

Ara put the drink back.

"What is it?"

Ara grinned and reached for a cup of what she assumed was punch.
