Aliénor looked around, looking for anyone who wasn't drunk or already involved in a conversation. She spotted the man she'd met earlier against the wall - Maverick? - and stood up, intending to go talk to him again. She hesitated, then made her way across the room. "Hello?"

Cadence lit up like someone had just dumped gasoline on her. She shrieked in anger and battered the dog with her wing.
