The reason that everything and everyone were all lowercase was because they didn't like being called proper nouns, so they changed their names to have no capitals. Melody, who had just watched everything dissolve and everyone disappear, gasped. She decided the best option here would be to run, just in case it started spreading. Even if it didn't start spreading, she was really sick of being kidnapped and held by various entities, and the best way to not get kidnapped was to run away. She ran through the forest, then stopped and ran back to help her friends. If they needed help, she was going to help them. I put her hands up in the air. "No, stop. I surrender," she said. She grabbed Melody, who had just arrived. Melody shied back when I grabbed her, but then she felt a tingling sensation and knew that X's and I's powers were flowing into her. She pumped her fist. "One down, one to go." Then she ran to find Y and get her powers.
