Kelly shrugged. "I can call in a favor and get us a little extra commodities, if anyone should so desire. Nothing crazy, but if anyone needs something to be accommodated, I can probably zip back to base and grab something."

Kelly scribbled it down, but he did not write down that he was also considering, one of these days, learning how to absorb the knowledge of experienced multiversal gods into his own brain, because that sounded like it could be very convenient.

Ours works similarly, except we base in a world where—to use Cosmere terminology, the Shards of this world have lost their Vessels. Except, the power doesn't gain sentience. The world is empty, so we can use, quite literally, "all the power in the world", but our biggest issue is in finding universes to jump to."

"Oh, hey, I know a kid from one of the Greek/Roman mythos universes, a child of Vulcan I think. The statistical odds that you'd be from the same universe are terrible, but I must admit it's refreshing and shocking for me to come across some semblance of familiarity."

Kelly grinned. "Say, how is it you are able to travel the multiverse? Is that built into your magic? Our method is incredibly inefficient."

"Oh. That is rather disappointing." He grins and extends a hand in friendship, his arm bracers sliding down his arms slightly. "I am Knight Kelly Razier, delighted to meet you."
