  1. Orpheus turned immediately and noticed Cara. "Ah... uh, what are you doing here?"
  2. Cavalier pulled out a leaf from the salad. "Maybe this?"
  3. Cavalier perked up. "I have a fluffy tail!"
  4. Fresco did not find any sticks nearby. He did pull off a loose button on his uniform and placed it on the head as a single eye. It would have to be a cyclops snowman.
  5. "Avren? You there?" Orpheus swung a plate with as much force as he could at the stone wall of the lower floors, and it shattered into a million pieces. Stupid dragon. He grabbed a small pot and smashed it. Stupid prophecy. He cast his eyes furiously around the room and noticed a book. He threw it at the door angrily. Stupid quest. He whirled back around and looked at the disaster he had caused. Since when had he had such destructive tendencies? "Demon!" he roared. "Answer me!" There was no answer. There hadn't been any answer in a while. Zanidar had gone silent. "He's like me, isn't he?" he said, voice dropping to a whisper. "Zanidar... do you know him?" No answer. He had gone silent, as he had been for most of Orpheus's life. Usually, that was a good thing. But Orpheus needed answers. "Why am I here?"
  6. Fresco started to make a snowman while he waited, but it looked more like a snow pile with a small snowball on top. He looked for some sticks for arms.
  7. Then the aforementioned Ohioans declared war.
  8. Really? Didn't know Theodore Roosevelt was homeschooled.
  9. Ayyyyyyyyyy deep breath Ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! Graduation buddies. Speaking of, the decor for my graduation from 1.2 years ago is still up in our house. As is our Christmas tree.
  10. It was a constant struggle against procrastination, for sure. And how come?
  11. Cavalier shows up again with a small pile of dead mice. "I'd prefer it grilled, but I don't know how to make a fire," he said, then paused. "Well, a controlled fire."
  12. Fresco falls down a mountain and has to climb back up. He remembers that if you're lost its best to stay where you were.
  13. No offense to public school, but my parents homeschooled me because they wanted to make sure I'd be smart. Plus, both my parents have had bad experiences with public school. As for who I hung out with, church friends. Basically, whoever was assigned to my church schedule were my pool of friends to choose from... and oftentimes that wasn't very big. We had weekly activities my whole life, though, so that's pretty much when I would do friend things/socializing.
  14. So, mostly I technically taught myself with curriculum my mother spent a lot of time finding for me. Mostly she just stayed home and made sure we actually did school, instead of fooling around on Roblox or writing or playing other games or Legos or talking about book stuff ( all of which we got away with many times; oh yeah, my other two sisters were homeschooled to).
  15. I was homeschooled for my whole life. I graduated like a year ago, though.
  16. "So you know," said Exodus. "Good. Maybe you'll have some sense, then."
  17. Exodus couldn’t help but think again, this was the boy who had bested him? Obviously, he must have had some kind of exorbitant amount of luck in doing so. Not that he had ever been in any real danger, but he did have to admit that his enchantments were somewhat limited in their scope. A useful tool, but not to be relied upon solely. But this boy bore the mark of a necromancer on his soul. Exodus could use that, and the boy probably could as well. At a cost. “At a loss for words? Do I need to threaten to tell Shadow what you are? How do you think they’ll see you then?”
  18. I believe they were referencing the part in the annotations where Brandon Sanderson says that the God King cannot sire a child unless certain steps are taken. Yes, its possible, but apparently it would not work normally. As for the original question, I, uh, have no idea.
  19. "It was very hard to tell, considering your spirit remains nearly completely intact, but the signs are there. I could help teach you, if you desire."
  20. I think datapacks for 1.17 will have an option for customizable height limit as well.
  21. A to-scale Urithiru is three times the current height limit for Minecraft...
  22. Yeah, North Dakota represent! Wait. No North Dakotans. Well, if someone would add one that'd be great.
