Well, I just watched a video where a whole bunch of Yellowstone scientists said, "No need to worry about the supervolcano erupting, it only erupts every [insert big number here] years, and it's been [insert same number here] years, so we're good!"

Then I watched a video of the eruption of Mt. St. Helens where all the scientists who lived there and said, "We don'thave to worry about this little volcano erupting, there are warning signs before it erupts!" And they were right, earthquakes began a whole ten seconds before it erupted, and they all died.
